21/07/2025: Al Ristorante L'incontro si viene accolti sempre con cordialità e calore; i proprietari sono affabili e competenti, ti accompagnano nella scelta del menu' e nell'abbinamento dei vini senza essere mai invadenti. Quando i piatti arrivano a tavola ci si delizia prima di tutto guardandoli e le aspettative che si creano sono ampiamente soddisfatte ad ogni boccone. Persino i piatti unici sono un trionfo di colori, profumi e sapori! Lo frequento da anni e appena sono in zona mi fermo a mangiare e ne approfitto per scambiare due chiacchiere piacevoli con il Sig.Gianfranco e la Sig.ra Luciana e prima di andarmene non manca mai un saluto al grande Chef Carlo Gozzi. La passione è l'ingrediente principe di questo ristorante! Consigliato vivamente per chi vuole condividere un'esperienza piacevole con i colleghi di lavoro e ancor più per chi desidera degustare il buon cibo e buon vino sia a pranzo che a cena. 13/08/2025: Restaurant located just outside Carpi. Minimalist yet elegant inside, a slightly more pared-down exterior. Original menu, ranging from traditional dishes to more contemporary dishes—some perhaps a bit overdone, but generally well executed. The orange caramels and slow-cooked duck breast are excellent. The stracciatella and confit cherry tomato "girasoli" are also excellent, as is the wine selection, with a fairly extensive cellar. Impeccable and attentive service. Fairly priced, around €55 for two dishes, plus about half a bottle of wine per person, water, and cover charge. Also recommended for a dinner for two.

08/08/2025: We came with local friends for an Apricena. A great find with excellent value. Compared to many other places we frequented, we found quality and variety of food and appetizers. Highly recommended.

02/09/2025: Self-service restaurant in a historic building. The food is exceptional. I've never had a bad meal. Even though there are often a lot of people, the wait is never long; on the contrary, lunch is served in a very short time. The option to order takeout is also very convenient. I highly recommend it. The food is truly divine!

09/08/2025: One of my favorite restaurants in and around Carpi, the quality is always excellent. The antipasto dell'oste is my favorite, as are the suckling pig leaves. The tagliata is top notch.

02/09/2025: I really have to give a shout out to Marcello Pizzeria. A true institution and a point of reference: in Carpi for 67 years! We showed up in August without a reservation (there were few people) and were seated right away. We ordered a couple of pizzas, including the special Marinella with the addition of grilled smoked ham (after baking). Pizza Marinella: Tomato puree, shredded burrata, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, black pepper, oregano, and extra virgin olive oil. After a short wait, the pizza arrived, and it was truly delicious; not a single crumb was left. The pizza is Neapolitan-style, thin in the center with beautiful edges. Excellently cooked in a wood-fired oven! In the end, the bill surprised us: only €27 for two people, including drinks. The only flaw in this place, in my opinion, is the inadequate soundproofing. Even though the room was half empty and the door to the outside was open, the volume of the voices was high.

18/08/2025: Beautiful location in a trendy pizzeria. There were three of us and we ordered three cutlets, which were really good and tender with a crispy coating. The desserts were average.

12/09/2025: A very characteristic restaurant in the center of Carpi. The service is attentive and professional. The first courses were very good, as was the quality of the meat, the cooking, and the side dishes. The wine markups were not excessive. Unfortunately, I found it really strange that in a 1.3kg Florentine steak, the fillet was barely 5cm... I've never experienced that before. Nevertheless, it was a good experience; we'll be back in the winter.
