23/05/2025: We had the pleasure of trying the tasting menu of this restaurant and we can confirm that the two Michelin stars are absolutely deserved. The gastronomic journey was of the highest level, starting with excellent pre-appetizers, which immediately raised expectations. Each dish was presented impeccably, accompanied by extremely well-studied wine pairings, capable of enhancing the flavors without ever overpowering them. A special mention goes to the famous "Uovo in raviolo San Domenico" with mountain butter, sweet parmesan and seasonal truffle: a true masterpiece that alone is worth the visit. The staff proved to be professional, attentive and always smiling, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. The quality-price ratio was also excellent, considering the level of the proposal. In short: an unmissable stop for any true lover of gourmet cuisine.

Every time I cross the threshold, I feel welcomed like family, thanks to the attention and courtesy of the owners, always available and with exquisite manners. The staff is highly trained and professional, attentive to every detail and ready to satisfy any request with a smile. The quality of the dishes is excellent: you can perceive the great attention paid to the choice of raw materials and, above all, the ability to make the most of them with careful preparations and authentic flavours. If you are looking for a restaurant where you can eat well and feel at home, this is the right place. Highly recommended!

17/05/2025: Esperienza davvero eccellente! Il cameriere Giovanni è stato estremamente cortese e attento fin dal primo momento, facendoci sentire subito a nostro agio. La qualità dei prodotti è ottima: tutto freschissimo e gustoso, dall’antipasto al dolce. Un aspetto che ho particolarmente apprezzato è l’attenzione verso le intolleranze alimentari: sono intollerante al lattosio e sono rimasta colpita dalle alternative proposte, tutte preparate al momento. Ogni portata, dall’antipasto al dolce, è stata adattata con cura, senza mai rinunciare al gusto. Il dolce finale, era semplicemente perfetto! Consigliatissimo sia per chi ha esigenze particolari che per chi cerca una cucina genuina e un servizio impeccabile. Tornerò sicuramente!
13/05/2025: Oggi siamo state a pranzo per la prima volta in questo ristorante e vi abbiamo trovato cortesia, premura e gentilezza. Dall'antipasto al dolce eccellente qualità, ottima presentazione, accostamenti sopraffini. Una menzione particolare a Giovanni, cameriere esperto e al personale di cucina. Ritorneremo sicuramente. Consigliatissimo.

26/04/2025: Truly wonderful experience. I booked a dinner to celebrate my anniversary with my partner and we had a great time. High quality dishes, elegant and intimate atmosphere. The sommelier was also excellent and was able to perfectly match the wine to the various courses while being careful of our budget. Too bad we didn't taste the cheeses, but we were really full! We will definitely come back and try them.

The pastry chef is super cute and friendly, always ready to advise and make customers feel at home. I highly recommend this pastry shop to anyone visiting Modena and looking to taste the real sweets typical of the area. The pastry chef is truly a special person and makes the shopping experience even more pleasant. I will definitely come back to visit her!

From the name you will understand that they eat cakes, but not only that, there are also biscuits and various delicacies. The cakes are special and very good. Or, of course, there is also a bar service with coffee, ginseng and various drinks. Excellent service and friendly staff. A good place to refresh and rest.

27/04/2025: These days, a lot of fine dining feels totally out of touch with the real world. But Osteria Francescana is different. It’s real. It’s a reminder that food can still mean something deeper. Chef Massimo Bottura isn’t just a genius in the kitchen — he’s one of the most humble, inspiring people we’ve ever met. Every dish he and the team sent out was a message, a conversation about everything we take for granted. Every plate was insane in flavor, but it also hit you in the heart. It was a quiet rebellion against excess, a reminder that nothing should be wasted, and everything has value. The kitchen runs almost completely zero-waste. Ingredients are sourced hyper-locally, and you can feel the respect for every farmer, every fisher, and every piece of the chain. And despite the three Michelin stars, the global fame, and the massive respect he gets he spent more time talking about his community soup kitchen projects around the world than about himself. That says it all. We left not only feeling full and tipsy with amazing wine pairings but also super inspired. Meeting Massimo was a reminder that you can be at the very top of your game and still stay grounded, kind, and completely focused on what matters. Our family is beyond grateful to have had this experience. We’ll be carrying it with us for a long time.

02/05/2025: I had an extra falafel roll to take away (with hummus) and it was one of the best I've ever tried. The roll may seem small but it is actually very filling. The falafel were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and very very tasty, not to mention the hummus! Fresh and enveloping. Friendly staff and everything super clean. I will definitely go back.

11/05/2025: 4° volta in 20 anni da Giovanni. E sempre ottimo! il locale è molto carino e arredato con gusto e l'accoglienza sempre molto cordiale. Quanto ai piatti tutto buono ma in particolare: salumi piacentini sempre il top, per me meglio di quelli parmigiani. Pisarei e faso da non perdere. Ottimo il torroncino come dessert. Servizio preciso e cortese. Buona scelta di vini, anche i locali sono selezionati e validi. Oltretutto il rapporto qualità prezzo è sempre più che valido. vale la gita fuori porta da Piacenza ma anche da più lontano.

The food is quality: especially the meat, but also the first courses, the gnocco and the tigelle and the cold cuts are excellent; the service was perfect: the waiters are friendly and very nice; and the place is a real gem: it is furnished in a truly original way, a bit in pub style. A great discovery!!!

25/05/2025: I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the flavors offered in this ice cream shop: refined, original, perfectly balanced. You can feel the passion and expertise in the choice of raw materials and in the processing. The staff was very kind: they offered me a taste of a flavor that I would have taken anyway, demonstrating attention and availability, but also great preparation in describing the various flavors. However, I cannot ignore an aspect that is very negative for me: all the ice creams are gluten-free, a praiseworthy choice that allows those who are celiac to enjoy every flavor without worries. But precisely for this reason, I find it deeply unfair that a surcharge of 1 euro is applied for those who want a gluten-free cone. We are talking about an ice cream that for 2 flavors costs 3.50 euros: one euro more represents a very high markup simply for a different cone, which certainly does not have such an excessive cost. I understand that there may be small differences in price between a standard cone and one certified gluten-free, but here we end up penalizing those who already live with a dietary restriction. And above all: if all ice cream is already gluten-free, why further burden those who choose a different format out of necessity, not whim? A fairer solution? Reduce this surcharge to a symbolic figure (maximum 50 cents), or – ideally – absorb it in the price, given the already excellent 100% gluten-free offer. It would be a gesture of real inclusion, not just a facade. I hope this reflection will be taken into consideration: the product is excellent, the experience almost perfect, but inclusiveness should not turn into an additional cost for those who simply have different needs.
