09/11/2025: DON’T COME HERE! The Food sucks!!! I got the spaghetti and meatballs and was very salty and meatball wasn’t fresh. It’s not even an Italian thing. They charge $4 euro for water and $2 a person for cover charge, ripped off!!!

05/11/2025: Fast friendly and efficient service! Carbonara and seafood plate were both great. Would recommend for a quick, easy and quality lunch or dinner.

11/01/2026: Stayed August 2025. We had an unforgettable stay at Bellevue Syrene. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional and every detail was thoughtfully handled. A special thank you to Antonino, the concierge, who booked all of our dinners. We gave him full discretion, and every choice was excellent. The tasting menu at the hotel’s restaurant, La Pergola, was a standout and one of our best meals in Sorrento. Each evening, we made a ritual of having drinks at Il Costiera before dinner. The terrace views are stunning, and the cocktails are just as good. I order an old fashioned everywhere I go, and theirs was among the best I’ve had. We also spent hours each day at the hotel’s “beach” — a pier extending into the Mediterranean with great sun exposure and crystal-clear water for swimming, set among ancient Roman arches carved into the cliffs. Don’t miss a limoncello spritz down there; it’s the perfect way to cool off. The highlight of our trip was a day on the hotel’s private boat, Isola. Our pilot, Damiano, was exceptional. We circumnavigated Capri and stopped for an open-water swim — a truly breathtaking and romantic experience. Bellevue Syrene is more than a hotel; it’s a complete experience. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

03/02/2026: L'Antica Trattoria 1930 was one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at. The lemon pasta with shrimp was absolutely amazing and highly recommended. The atmosphere was very pleasant and fun and the service was great throughout our meal. While the prices are a bit expensive the food and the overall experience were definitely worth it. It is a fantastic spot for a high quality meal and we would love to go back

10/12/2025: An unforgettable experience in this cozy and beautiful corner in the heart of Sorrento. Much more than a restaurant... an art museum where traditional dishes become an explosion of flavors and colors. A journey of taste and elegance, courtesy of the impeccable D'Oria family. Also noteworthy is the excellent service from both the front-of-house staff and the entire kitchen team. In short, a unique experience, that goes far beyond the more than excellent food... Simply unforgettable.

20/02/2026: TOTAL SCAM. They dont let boys enter but if you are a girl and a tourist they let you in. I went with some friends thinking it would be fun but inside we realized that the party was so dead and everybody was just wasted, besides we were the only ones that weren't from the us. The owner is such a snob which dosent make much sence because even if he judges you based on your looks and wealth, the karaoke has no modern instalation, only a proyector, two mics and a computer where they serch the songs in youtube. Such a bad experience.

19/01/2026: I'd give the food a 2.5. It was delicious, but the portions were very, very small. I understand their aim is to offer a tasting menu, but this isn't clearly stated anywhere. We ordered one main course and one dessert per person, and it wasn't enough. I must emphasize the chef's care in presenting the dishes and the very kind service from the gentleman who served us.

23/01/2026: This family-owned and operated gem deserves more than a 5-star rating in my book! I had the privilege of dining here for lunch and dinner during my time in Sorrento and I was blown away, on both occasions, at the quality and consistency of the food, pricing, and excellent service. This place is beloved by tourists and locals — which means a long line and wait at dinner. It’s absolutely worth the wait! If you aren’t into waiting… visit them at lunchtime as the queues are shorter.

19/03/2026: An exceptional place. The food is delicious, homemade, and of very high quality. The prices are incredible, and they don't charge a cover fee (I'm fed up with the other restaurants on this coast that take advantage and blatantly raise their prices). The owners are delightful. They were fantastic to work with.

11/11/2025: We had lunch there on a day when we were visiting Sorrento and it was raining heavily. We ordered a dish of gnocchi, a dish of spaghetti with tomato sauce, and a dish with clams for €64 (no dessert, just water). We ate the exact same dishes five days earlier in a small trattoria in Naples (Da Maria) for €38… So, the price was excessive, even if it was good (as good as the small trattoria!). I won't be going back.

06/11/2025: I got pasta here that changed my life. It had a lemon creme sauce that was just slightly sweet. Service was great too.

03/02/2026: We found this hidden gem as we walking looking for somewhere extraordinary to celebrate my wife's birthday, what we didn't expect was to find this amazing and unique experience. From the moment we sat down to the moment we left was incredible to say the least, the homemade bread and olive oil is sublime, the starters were mind blowing along with the mains and desserts. We sat at the chefs table where you eat what the chef decides and pay what you feel, (which depicts what we paid as it was amazing we paid what we thought was courtesy enough with a tip and drinks included in the price) and I cannot deny it was amazing and the local red wine was delicious. We even got a picture with the chef and staff afterwards and went through inside and experienced their locale fare with some music and dance. Strongly recommend this place. Thank you for a wonderful experience couldn't have asked for anything better to celebrate the wife's birthday truly unique and amazing. September 2025
