09/08/2025: I'm giving it 5 stars because I can't give it 10. Set in an old trattoria, it's beautiful and offers delicious typical Neapolitan food. It was so good that I was in tears. One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. After finishing, they offered us three different shots, made by a local farmer. We were served by a young man who made the effort to speak as much Spanish as possible to help us at all times. Simply perfect service. He also helped us with places we wanted to go next. It's a good thing I live far from the restaurant, because I'd go bankrupt eating there every day if I could. It's impossible to do better!!!

29/08/2025: Fantastic experience from start to finish. My wife and I ate here for her birthday dinner, and the chef and staff were extremely hospitable. The food was some of the best we have ever had, and the atmosphere was wonderful. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant if visiting Pozzuoli!

03/06/2025: A small and wonderful Certosa We celebrated the communion of our beloved granddaughter Fiorella in this splendid structure with an ancient charm, which is exactly what we were looking for and what struck us the most. The atmosphere is truly suggestive and welcoming. The staff was exceptional: the constant presence of the maître, the waiters and even the owners made the entire service impeccable and very attentive. We really felt looked after and pampered at every moment. The food? Simply delicious and special. You can clearly perceive the care in the choice of products, all of the highest quality and very refined. Thanks also to the beautiful sunny day, we were able to enjoy and appreciate the garden made available to us for the ceremony, all in the open air and in perfect harmony with the nature of the place. I highly recommend this structure to those who want an elegant but at the same time welcoming place, where every detail is taken care of with passion.

From the moment I walked into Hosteria La Tradizione, I felt warmly welcomed—with a glass of Prosecco and a perfectly crisp pacchero fritto as an aperitivo. A great start that only hinted at what was to come. Gennaro, the host, is a true gem—extremely knowledgeable about wines from every corner of the world and passionate about pairing them thoughtfully with each dish. I started with an exceptional beef tartare, followed by a beautifully cooked steak served on pietra lavica (lava stone), which added both flavor and flair to the experience. The evening ended on a high note with a unique and memorable dessert: blue cheese infused with dark chocolate, paired masterfully with a Falanghina passito. An unexpected and delightful combination. Special thanks to Chef Giovanni and Giusy for their creativity and attention to detail. Every element of the meal had a personal touch that made it feel special. Highly recommended if you're in the Napoli area—this is a place that celebrates tradition, innovation, and hospitality all in one.

13/07/2025: A bit disappointed, the food was quite good, but there were very few Venus clams in the spaghetti vongole; you could literally count them. My spaghetti frut die mare had only one type of fish and it was still raw. The garden was very pleasant, but overall it was too expensive for what you get. Note that the photo menu with prices is from six years ago, and the prices are much higher!

07/07/2025: Overall good. Abundant and quite tasty appetizers, shame about finding beams - not bones - in the fried cod. The Genovese was very good, the wine was bad (Aglianico), the orecchiette were clearly reheated, the service was quite attentive and very kind. I am attaching a photo of the bones to avoid being labeled as a fake review. Nice cuts of meat, but perhaps too attached to that workhorse and unprepared for other requests. If you go with the idea of ​​eating ONLY meat, it is the perfect place. Otherwise there is something else.

29/06/2025: Little respect for animals, alive or dead The restaurant may have a certain reputation, but the experience was deeply disappointing, especially for those who care about respect for animals. Dogs - even if well-behaved and calm - are subjected to very strict rules, including the absurd prohibition of drinking water. A rigid and inexplicable behavior, which makes the owners feel unwelcome and judged. But what really leaves a bitter taste in the mouth is the underlying hypocrisy: while live animals are denied even a bowl of water, the walls are proudly displayed with stuffed heads of animals killed for "decorum". A grotesque and disturbing scene, which reveals a total lack of sensitivity. A place like this can also boast excellent cuisine (warm heart cake excluded), but without a minimum of empathy towards every form of life, the taste of the experience remains very bitter. NEVER AGAIN!!!

24/06/2025: My wife and I, together with relatives and friends celebrated our fiftieth wedding anniversary, a few days ago, I must say that we had a great lunch all seafood-based, the service was very attentive to detail, exceptional food, the restaurant has parking and a play area for children, a special thanks to Mr Massimo, who guided us from the choice of the menu, to the setting of the table up to the opening of the wedding cake. 01/09/2025: Good food, mussel soup, definitely too many cherry tomatoes. The grilled octopus was also good, but it was literally three tentacles, which was a bit too much for the price. The place was welcoming, even though we had three flies keeping us company the whole time.

27/08/2025: Discovered by chance, but tried again after years without booking. We had a full dinner with seafood spaghetti, fried fish, wine, and dessert. Limoncello topped it all off, just like in the photo! The dark chocolate treat was much appreciated. Very kind staff. More than reasonable prices. Thank you for everything ;-) ❤️

Le aspettative avute anche con la presentazione trovano ampia rispondenza all'assaggio. Sapori delicati ma al tempo stesso intensi evocano la freschezza e gli odori del mare . Un'esperienza,sicuramente,da ripetere per gustare altre eccellenze del menù.
