16/08/2025: An unpretentious family restaurant with delicious, homemade food.
After visiting the Herculaneum archaeological park, my family and I decided to eat in the city before returning to Naples. The oven is wood-fired, which always gives the pizzas a little something extra. We also ordered some penne for the little one, which she devoured without leaving anything behind. The best thing, what makes me recommend this place, is the lasagna. Perfect and with béchamel, which they don't serve everywhere. I've been all over Europe and traveled through Italy from north to south, and I can say it's the best lasagna I've ever had in a restaurant. Great!

13/04/2025: Realmente disfruté probando vinos de la zona de Versuius que eran geniales. Anfitriona muy amable y acogedor. Poco inglés pero nos las arreglamos con risas todo el día. Tenía algunas carnes, aceitunas y quesos encantadores 100% recomendar una parada después de visitar Herculano.

17/07/2025: Als je eenvoudig en lekker wil eten, het kan! Een beperkt menu met veelvuldige smaken.
Als antipasti kozen we deze keer (een week eerder waren we hier ook al - zegt eigenlijk al genoeg, toch?) voor de pesce crudo en carpaccio di manzo. Beide gerechten eenvoudigweg in leuke en lekkere combinaties gepresenteerd.
Voor primi namen we o.a. timballo, “the best pasta ever” zo werd geciteerd door een Engelstalige juffrouw aan de tafel naast de onze. Gelijk had ze. De lasagnetta di polpo scarole e gamberi was een ontdekking. De structuur van een lasagne met tussenin de polpo scarole en gamberi in fijne stukjes.
De secondi calamari farciti voor de calamari liefhebber in combinatie met ricotta.
Beide restaurantbezoeken kostten ons telkens circa €35 p.p. incl water, 3 glazen wijn, 2 antipasti en 4 primi. De moeite meer dan waard.

08/08/2025: Fantastic food! The price is also fantastic, considering that just a few hundred meters earlier the prices were three times higher. But it's not about the price. If you enjoy hiking and are heading from the Heraculum excavations towards Torre del Greco, you must stop here, eat, and literally melt into the Italian flavors at this charming family-run restaurant.

11/09/2025: Absolutely superb souvenir shop. Far better than the tat that is available at the Vesuvius entrance. We stopped on the way up and the way back down which definitely shows that quality of the merchandise. Then a couple of decent espressos at the adjacent restaurant.
04/09/2025: Excellent food, well-cooked. We came for a snack, then had lunch because the smells from the kitchen seduced us. 😍 The staff (especially the lady and her husband) are friendly and good company. It was a family stop before continuing. We'll be back soon! P.S. Be careful with the red wine...it's so good it's addictive. 😂

The setting is absolutely exceptional, and then... that's it.
The waitress is carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. I don't know if she's aware that human beings have a muscle in their mouths called the zygomaticus. She should learn how to use it. You ask her a question about a dish. She answers yes. Except that when the dish arrives, you realize the answer should have been no. In short, she needs to change careers. It's a good thing what she brought was edible, but not great. Choose a less beautiful setting with friendly people; the food won't stay in your stomach.
17/07/2025: Lovely place. Amazing view, gardens...and that's it.
No service. Food without taste.
Mixted salad was just salad, without other ingredients. Waitress told us they had no tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. Except five minutes later, they brought bruschettas with tomatoes to one family celebrating a baptism there. Meat too cooked, carbonara and vongole tasteless. Really disappointed. And the worst part was not in the dish but was the service as I said.

The place is crowded with young people, and parking is limited compared to the number of people, so much so that cars are parked on the street. There are three kiosks: one for the cash register, one for drinks, and the third for snacks. Tables are free on a first-come, first-served basis.
08/09/2025: We went for an aperitif, but between the view and the kindness of the staff... we decided to stay there for dinner... and it was the best choice..!!

31/08/2025: I'd say it's a typical restaurant where you can also eat pizza, and I've been going there with my family for many years! I'd like to point out that some waiters should understand that large tables often take longer to organize their orders, which can waste a bit of time! The waiter's helpfulness and courtesy contribute to the definition of a "good restaurant." If helpfulness and courtesy aren't there, customers are disappointed, in general, and regulars especially. Good luck to everyone!

22/08/2025: We went last night (August 21, 2025) for dinner at this charming location, consisting of a very bucolic and characteristic restaurant side (tables on cobblestones) and a bar side (surrounded by greenery and with deckchairs and armchairs).
Having made this brief description, let's move on to dinner:
I've read some negative reviews about how you get next to nothing for €30...
Well, that could be the case in theory, but I'll list a few aspects that, in my opinion, characterize this "winning" formula:
1. You don't order à la carte, but there are three menus available (€30, €30, and €40).
2. There's no cover charge.
3. There's no water charge.
4. There's no wine charge.
5. There's also dessert on the menu.
6. Very pleasant atmosphere.
We opted for a skewered meat menu and an eight-course menu.
There are no extra charges on the bill (such as service, cover charge, etc.).
Conclusion: We'll be back and we'll recommend this place.
P.S. We also had limoncello, but I don't know if it was included...
