01/09/2025: We stayed in the apartments at the end of August, and our stay was incredibly surprising: the view is breathtaking, the service, quality, and food at the restaurant below the accommodation are wonderful. There's a homely atmosphere, and the courtesy, kindness, hospitality, and beauty of the location set this place apart. Getting around is easy with public transportation, which is always available, with two stops just steps from the apartment, or by scooter. Sole Nascente is located on the side of the island with the most interesting places to visit, such as Sorgente Bay, Citara Beach, Forio, and Sant'Angelo. I recommend dining at the agriturismo to admire the seascape, which is also clearly visible from the apartments. If we were to return to Ischia, this would be our first choice.

12/08/2025: The place is very family-friendly, with various rooms and beautiful views, but with some details that are lacking in maintenance. The service lacks empathy for new customers. It's a local restaurant where everyone already knows where to eat, but for tourists, they should offer options and recommendations about the restaurant. However, what we ordered (already recommended by other locals) was divine... excellent cuisine.

10/04/2026: Excellent buffalo mozzarella. It's my go-to: I stop to eat it there and buy some for home every time I pass by Alvignano. The staff is incredibly friendly!

08/03/2026: Dinner for two: We ordered a portion of meatballs that were clearly defrosted and reheated, and they were poorly done. The sauce burned, but once we broke them open, the meatball was cold to say the least. We then ordered a generic tagliata without a specific choice of meat. Once served, the meat was poorly cut, almost defrosted, tasteless, and full of fat. If it had been cut properly, I probably wouldn't have written this review because, even though it wasn't high-quality, I could have eaten it. This time, however, each piece had strands of fat that made the whole thing inedible. It's a shame; the place is nice and the waiters are friendly.

03/02/2026: The prices were too high for some items (e.g., a 1x1 cm cube of cod tempura = €4). We ate all the fish dishes, and unfortunately, I can't rate the quality because everything tasted too garlicky. The two stars are thanks to the fast and friendly service...

17/03/2026: Excellent quality food, beautifully prepared with local ingredients, combining tradition and creativity. Wonderful appetizers, even for vegetarians, and what can I say about the first courses? The artichoke cavatielli are delicious. The trattoria is run by a couple—she in the kitchen and he in charge of the dining room—with great passion, professionalism, kindness, and warmth. We felt right at home.

23/03/2026: Far beyond our expectations, we had dinner on March 8th. We were welcomed warmly right away, and you'll feel right at home. We had two cuts of meat accompanied by grilled vegetables and the other fries. Everything was delicious, as was the local red wine. The staff was kind and attentive to everything. 17/03/2026: I was there in November 2025, and the food wasn't just good, it was MUCH BETTER. We had two appetizers and two first courses each, and there wasn't a thing we didn't like. Everything was delicious!!! Tomorrow I'll be back at the spa and will definitely return to this wonderful place, and I can't wait.

03/11/2025: The daily specials offered verbally weren't priced and were much more expensive than the menu items. The bruschetta (about the size of a bread roll) cost a whopping €30. The food was good, but far too expensive!

01/11/2025: This is more than a pizza restaurant. It is tastefully decorated and well-lit. Also, the menu has a good selection of pastas and meat dishes. If I lived here, this would be a favorite.

28/02/2026: We tried Michelasso during a press tasting and can say without hesitation: here, vegetables are truly served "in a suit and tie." The vegetarian tasting menu (€60) isn't a forced option, but a choice that defines the restaurant's identity. The flavors are clear, recognizable, and never confusing. From the cauliflower steak to the creamy provola cheese with broccoli rabe sorbet, the quality remains consistent from start to finish. The food is good, with technique and precision, but without losing its connection to Campanian tradition. The wine cellar (around 450 labels) is also very interesting, with a selection that highlights Campania but also looks beyond, especially to France. The service is attentive, measured, and never intrusive. The location, on Via Santa Brigida, is strategic: between Maschio Angioino, Piazza Municipio, and Via Toledo. The atmosphere is elegant yet convivial, spread across two levels. Beyond the accolades (Michelin Guide and a 9.7 rating on TheFork), what remains is the feeling of a place that cares about its guests. Whether you're vegetarian or not, you'll leave satisfied.

22/03/2026: Really busy little gem. Great service and genuine food. We visited twice in our week in Naples. Well worth a visit. Not a high end gourmet place, but absolutely worth a visit if you want some nice food and great atmosphere 👍 BIG pizzas
