07/12/2025: Today my brother-in-law introduced me to mozzarella from Mozz'Art. I've never eaten mozzarella before, but I can confidently say this is one of the best, if not the best. I think I'll definitely become a customer.

11/02/2026: We came here upon a recommendation of our driver from earlier in the trip...and we were not disappointed. The drive is a beautiful appetizer of what is to come. The island specialty is rabbit prepared in clay cookware. The atmosphere here is local and charming.

25/10/2025: Anyone coming to Ischia absolutely mustn't miss this stop!!! Excellent food, sublimely cooked rabbit, homemade pappardelle, and excellent, authentic side dishes. And last but not least, the lady's dessert, the best. Friendly and hospitable owners and staff, a welcoming atmosphere. In short, everything was excellent, even the price.

And I go to many restaurants and I can say that I am extremely satisfied both with the welcome, the place and the service, and above all with the dishes. Something sublime that you cannot taste everywhere but only from certain people like them who put authenticity, love and products and I recommend it for those who decide to give a gift to the palate and pleasure.

31/10/2025: What a place! Great vibe, delicious food (incredible drinks, pasta and the best pizza we had on our trip - including in Naples!) Also you’ll receive the most attentive service, it’s like being at a friend’s house but in a restaurant. The owner even drove us back to where we were staying when we needed a taxi! Definitely recommend stopping by especially if you’d rather experience genuine Italy and want to escape the touristy crowds of Sorrento. Bonus points if you get told the story of the history of the smoking cat!

07/01/2026: On the way home, we decided to stop for lunch: a perfect choice! The family atmosphere immediately makes you feel at home. We started with an excellent bruschetta appetizer, then the very kind woman serving us recommended the smoked Caserta Black Pig steak: incredibly tender and flavorful, it melted in your mouth. My wife and daughter chose the scialatelli with porcini mushrooms and truffle cream, which they found delicious; the only "problem" is that the portions are generous, more like an osteria than a gourmet restaurant, but for us, that was a plus! The tagliata was also very good. If you happen to stop for lunch, I highly recommend this restaurant!

31/10/2025: I think this was our best meal in Italy this year! The sea bass in lemon sauce was a flavor explosion at first bite. It was sheer perfection. Same with the pasta Nerano. Absolutely fantastic food we won't soon forget.

14/02/2026: I made a reservation online, only to show up and find the restaurant completely closed for the off-season. Seriously? You’re closed but still taking reservations? On February 14, when most places are busy and it’s hard to find an alternative last-minute! Totally unacceptable and incredibly disappointing — update your system if you’re not open.

28/02/2026: For me, one of the three best restaurants in all of Irpinia. Aside from the excellent menu (the pomegranate with pork capocollo is brilliant, and the arancini are top-notch), "La Pignata" has what many restaurants in this region lack. They want to be a bit more sophisticated (I'm obviously not talking about traditional, popular osterias), but they don't know how to make a living (they don't understand the rules of restaurant culture). Here, however, it's there: kindness when making a reservation, impeccable service, with discreet courtesy and a sommelier in the dining room (many in Italy and around the world know Irpinia only for its wines, and it would be wise to ensure they find a respectable sommelier when they enter a restaurant), and the entire "liturgy" that introduces and concludes the menu, from the chef's welcome to the pre-dessert to the small pastries. Plus, it offers a quality/price ratio that's hard to find in more renowned tourist destinations. Moreover, the restaurant is right below the Norman castle and the municipal villa. Worth a trip or a detour.
