06/03/2025: Usciti dalla visita a gli scavi in ora di pranzo cercavamo qualcosa dove mangiare,e tra i tanti locali, tutti stranamente chiusi abbiamo trovato l'unico locale aperto, il titolare gentilissimo ci ha accolti e serviti, nonostante il locale fosse tutto pieno siamo stati serviti subito e devo dire tutto davvero buono con prezzi alla portata di tutti!

Audience of various age groups, after dinner the average age drops as is logical. Live music to interact with during dinner and during the following hours. 16/02/2025: The most beautiful dinner "show" in the Salerno area.. Even though the place was full, we were seated quickly at the reception! Water was brought to us immediately. We ordered appetizers and various central "treats", then some first courses, others second courses! I went for picanha and it was very tender! Out of 7 people no one had any criticisms about the food. The music started around 10.30pm and the whole place participated between one course and another. At the end of dinner and at the end of the live show, not happy, we remained at the table for a bit of disco accompanied by drinks. To be repeated without a doubt

05/03/2025: Spinto da una influencer molto attiva sui social, mi reco in questa osteria. E già nell'accoglienza ci sono i primi passi falsi: l'oste lascia molto a desiderare quanto a sovoir-faire. Ma il carattere delle persone, si sa, non dovrebbe esercitare alcun condizionamento sul merito e sul servizio. Eppure... risultano pessimi, anche quelli. Tuttavia, va detto che spesso un cattivo servizio potrebbe invece celare un'ottima varietà enogastronomica e un'eccellente qualità della materia prima, nonché una mise en place commisurata all'ambiente da osteria... niente di tutto questo. Vi assicuro che questo posto non rispecchia nulla di quanto viene pubblicizzato: cibo scarsissimo dal punto di vista qualitativo. Già dall' overture vengono serviti antipasti composti perlopiù da alimenti surgelati; pietanze che dovrebbero appartenere alla tradizione culinaria Napoletana e/o campana ma che (nei fatti) si sono rivelate di una sciatteria senza precedenti, a cominciare dal tanto reclamato "pasta e patate". Quest’ultimo è davvero incommentabile. Non fatevi influenzare dalle influencer… ovunque vi girate, in zona, troverete di meglio.

03/11/2024: Quizás fue porque estábamos fuera de temporada, pero no puedo comprender algunas de las críticas. Ciertamente no nuestra experiencia. Familia de 4 con variedad de comidas, incluyendo ensaladas, caprese, lasaña y pasta pesto . . . y todas las comidas eran excelentes. El servicio fue atento y cortés y aceptó nuestro vocabulario italiano limitado. Fue una de las mejores comidas que tuvimos durante nuestra estancia ... la pasta pesto que mi hijo describió como la mejor ... realmente era. La ubicación es genial también! Disfruta de un almuerzo con vistas a un sitio tan exquisito como Paestum.

29/09/2024: We stumbled upon this restaurant during our roadtrip in southern Italy in 2021. Who would have thought it was the best food we have had!! The burrata cheese salad was perfect. Everything was very fresh and the vegetables have special aroma. Would definitely come back - if we ever come back again to this town!

20/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati la prima volta per caso, anno scorso, il locale stava chiudendo, ma il proprietario, fu gentile e ci servì comunque qualcosa da mangiare. Da quel momento non lo abbiamo più lasciato. Adoro il Laceno e Bagnoli Irpino, posti dove rinfrancano anima e ogni tanto ci va di passarci qualche giorno. È questo locale è diventata la nostra "tradizione". Per me non è possibile passare di lì e non fermarmi per pranzo o cena. Abbiamo qualche volta anche trovato tanta gente, ma proprio perché è valido. Ma comunque, anche ieri con una cerimonia in atto, tanta gente e senza prenotazione, devo dire che siamo stati serviti bene ed anche velocemente... O almeno nella norma. Il cibo è fatto al momento, quindi è naturale attendere un poco, specie se pieno di persone. Ma ci si va anche per rilassarsi, non per cronometrare i camerieri e i cuochi, che fanno del loro neglio. È a conduzione familiare da quello che ho capito e sono affabili e cercano sempre di accontentare. Mi piace l' ambiente. Gli gnocchetti al tartufo o la tagliatella (mangiata ieri) al tartufo è qualcosa di sublime per me. Amo il tartufo e qui lo degusto eccellentemente. Ottima anche la carne, abbondante il contorno, pane fresco, gentilezza e ormai io e il mio compagno da Napoli, apprezziamo sempre e da sempre questo luogo. Prezzi contenuti... Posto pulito, ordinato, Ma cosa volere di più? Consigliatissimo

12/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati per caso vista l'ora di pranzo... e devo dire mai scelta più azzeccata! Proprio la cucina che ti aspetti, gustosa e casalinga, tipica dell'Irpinia. Tutto molto abbondante e soprattutto di qualità. Ravioli al ragù spettacolari, lo stesso le Pappardelle al Cinghiale e quelle ai Funghi. Profiteroles e Delizia al caffè gustose. Veramente complimenti... Sarà una tappa fissa al passaggio in queste zone. Prezzi contenutissimi... un antipasto, tre primi, bibite e due dolci solo 62€ coperto incluso...

23/01/2025: Fuimos aquí para el almuerzo y realmente disfrutamos de las gambas, parmigiana melanzane y ensalada caprese que compartimos. Fue tan bueno que decidimos tener nuestra última comida en Napoli aquí. ¡Qué decepción! Una mezcla con mi entrante y me trajeron la cosa equivocada, luego me dijeron que mi elección original no estaba disponible y luego me dijeron por diferentes camareros que estaba disponible! Tenía muchas ganas de que llegara la flor de calabacín rellena, ¡era sosa y sosa! Mi risotto también era insípido. Mi marido había comido las gambas panko para el almuerzo y estaba muy interesado en volver a cenar. Plato completamente diferente llegó, y de nuevo decepcionado. Escalope con salsa de limón también era masticable y decepcionante. El servicio era indiferente, sin sonrisas, sin preguntar si las comidas estaban bien, de nuevo un servicio suave. Tan decepcionado y realmente no puedo recomendar 😕

27/02/2025: I arrive with the truck at 9.13pm. At 9.30pm the owner comes to look for me in the square, telling me that the place closes at 9.45pm and it was too late to have dinner and take a shower. I sit down and eat spaghetti with clams (this time not the frozen ones from the Pacific with the black and white shell) and a tagliata with rocket and parmesan, half water, 1/4 red wine and 1 limoncello paid €35 ​​without a receipt. At the cashier I am reminded that at 10.10pm I cannot take a shower since the place is closed. I warn them that it would be right for them to put a sign about the closing time since I have been going there for a while and I was not aware of it. The cashier replies that he knows now. Well, apart from the very kind waiter I would like to warn that it is a place to avoid, given that in 20 years of experience I have never found a restaurant that closed at 9.45pm, and do not say (as the cashier warned me) that even the employees have a schedule, because this means that you pay them by the hour and to save money you try to close as soon as possible. Do one thing, close forever because I do not think many will miss you

01/02/2025: This is a beautiful bar and restaurant in the heart of Vico Equense. We went there as a group, a couple of times, last July (I thought I uploaded this then but there was a tech error), the first time for lunch and the second for drinks, to watch the England vs Switzerland game. The food was delicious, all made with quality and fresh products, the drinks were strong and tasty. The owner is the best, very friendly, really lovely, funny and entertaining man with a lot of stories to share about the Italian national team (some of the footballers are from the area and he knows them!). He knows the area very well, so it was good to get some tips on what to do, weekly local market etc. This is definitely a welcoming place, in a central location, great for drinks and food! All dishes tasted delicious and you may want to try: gnocchi alla sorrentina (very very tasty) and their various bruschette. Drinks: Limoncello spritz, Hugo, Falanghina and Aperol Spritz. They also sell Limoncello in really lovely bottles and it tastes great. We will definitely visit again.

09/10/2024: An excellent dinner in excellent company. Exquisite fish menu. Out of season you can calmly admire the beautiful sea it overlooks. Even having a simple coffee makes the morning better.
