10/08/2026: Amazing experience at Ristorante Bruno! The food was absolutely delicious — I had the spaghetti Vongole and Caesar salad, and both were excellent. The wine was also fantastic and paired perfectly with the meal. The service was outstanding: friendly, attentive, and very welcoming. And of course, the beautiful view makes the whole experience even more special. Would definitely come back and highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

09/08/2026: My family and I had dinner at this restaurant/pizzeria. We had an appointment at 9:00 PM. We arrived and immediately ran into a mixup. We'd asked to sit in the air-conditioned dining room in case it was too hot, but contrary to what we'd been told, they'd already decided we'd be sitting outside, regardless of the outside temperature, so much so that our table was already ready there. I should point out that this was communicated to us with arrogance and a lack of kindness. To avoid ruining our evening, we let this slide and sat down. We ordered right away. Unfortunately, we had to wait half an hour just for drinks, and the drinks were served hot. After waiting half an hour and a further reminder at 10:00 PM, we were told that the pizzas would be another good half hour. While we were waiting for our pizzas, and the drinks were getting even hotter, we asked if they could kindly bring us some ice, and guess what...not only did the ice never arrive, but when we asked for it, we were told they didn't have any. So what? Is that how you do it? You don't even tell the customer at the table who's been waiting for an hour that the ice wouldn't arrive. Rather than tell them and know they'd make a fool of themselves, they preferred to pretend nothing had happened...well...needless to say, the service was terrible, because when the pizzas started arriving at 10:30 PM, only two arrived at a time, and so not only didn't we all eat together, but there were 12 of us, and the last two pizzas arrived at 11:00 PM. It seems truly absurd to me that in a restaurant, especially one with so many seats, there could be such slow and poor service. Furthermore, as we were leaving, there were other people complaining about the wait. I definitely won't be returning, and I'm sorry, but I absolutely wouldn't recommend it. Of all the other places in the area, this one is also out of the way and far from the center, and with all the competition, such a service is unacceptable.

08/08/2026: I'm sorry, I think the management has changed. I was there last year on August 15th and everything went well. This evening everything was bad, from the welcome to the service. We arrived at 9pm with reservations for adults and children. At 10pm they told us that the pizzas would arrive in half an hour. The first 4 arrived at 11am and then the following ones with another 10 minute wait. I'm sorry, but it's not for you. The customer is the one who brings the money and must be respected.

25/07/2026: A good bar. Always open and busy. Croissants, various baked goods, pizzas, sandwiches... A pleasant stop. Parking isn't easy. If you're lucky, you'll find one outside. Was I helpful?

03/10/2023: Non è la prima volta che abbiamo cenato in questo ottimo ristorante , ed è sempre una conferma di grande eccellenza ! Ottime le pizze ben lievitate e ben cotte , le materie prime sono di grande qualità , ma anche i secondi sono eccellenti di buona manifattura e le cotture perfette , il servizio è gentile ed informale ed il conto nella norma. Se volete mangiare bene e godervi le ottime materie prime senza fronzoli e sbattimenti delle varie mode gourmet allora è il posto giusto. Ideale per famiglie o con gli amici. Complimenti a tutto lo staff

28/09/2023: È difficile aggiungere altri elogi che non siano già stati scritti sull'altissima qualità della cucina e della pizzeria delle Grotticelle, se non che quasi tutto è autoprodotto sulle montagne confinanti, carni, prevalentemente di agnello, formaggi, salumi, verdure, funghi e tartufi, marmellate e composte, rustici, dolci e crostate, finanche le farine che serviranno a fare eccellenti pizze e il pane. Tutto preparato espresso ogni giorno. Tutta la famiglia, ampia, è coinvolta nel lavoro, in particolar modo Angelo Rumolo che sovrintende la cucina e Veronica, che con garbo e semplicità governa la sala. Sono disponibili anche alcune camere, piccole ma confortevoli e pulite e al mattino un'ampia e golosa colazione renderà piacevole programmare il ritorno.

26/07/2026: Saturday, July 25, 2:30 PM. I frequent this place often, and the owners are welcoming. Unfortunately, at that time, only the staff were there. We sat down while they were outside smoking, given the empty place, and they were already giving us dirty looks. After 10 minutes, they brought us the menus, and on the way to the table, I tried to catch the waiter's eye and say "good morning." He purposely looked away and didn't return my gaze. He came, threw the menus away without saying good morning, and left. We waited another 10 minutes, then left. We got up and left. It's a shame, the place is very nice, but it's a shame about the staff.

21/07/2026: Nice place, but they charge €2 pp in service fees for just having a drink, so that's an expensive joke.

13/04/2026: I went to eat at this restaurant with friends, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was clean and the staff were courteous.

17/02/2026: I dined at Ristorante e Pizzeria da Basilio and the overall experience was average. The restaurant is simple and welcoming, while the service was excellent and particularly attentive, a definite positive aspect of the evening. As for the food, the pizza was decent but nothing special. It's a shame about the broccoli rabe, which seemed more boiled than fried, thus losing some of the expected bold flavor. The quality-price ratio is also average, with no particular surprises, either positive or negative.

10/08/2026: I've eaten there a couple of times already, often taking out. Everything was very good. However, the last time I felt cheated: I'm sorry I didn't check the menu prices beforehand. I ordered two saltimbocca: sausage and broccoli rabe, and asked for a vegetarian one. The girl at the cashier said, "Both with provolone," and I said, "Yes." Plus €2 per saltimbocca. Then, for the vegetarian one, she said, "With eggplant," and I said, "Yes." Plus €2. So, two saltimboccas cost €21...this has become my city...what's a saltimbocca without provolone, and a vegetarian one without eggplant? I understand the price increases, but you should mention it before you're about to charge me €2 more. Anyway, the food is good.

08/08/2026: We were there for the first time and I must say that we had a really good time, the atmosphere was soft, excellent food, delicious pizzas and the staff were very polite, I recommend it

09/12/2025: We ate there by chance, which was disappointing, because the food wasn't great. The place was very dirty and everything was neglected. It was dusty, and the oil cruet was brought to the table, smelling rancid. The previously refilled wine bottles were very, very dirty, and everything was a bit disheveled. The cook, who could be seen every now and then taking things from the freezer, strangely located in the dining room but not the kitchen, was wearing a dangling, shabby scarf that didn't give you the feeling of cleanliness at all. The fact is, I had a stomachache for two days after trying the food there. I would advise business owners to take a critical look at their place and give it a good clean, replacing the disposable tablecloths and coffee machine covers, even though they were full of holes and had been used a thousand times. It's shameful that no one checks these places.

25/08/2025: A beautiful place surrounded by greenery on a huge estate. Delicious, authentic food. Generous portions and excellent prices. The hostess was very kind, highly recommended!

13/07/2026: Rubbish! We had Spaghetti alla Puttanesca. No parsley, no capparis. Just tomato sauce, a few olives and something that looked like canned mushrooms. 🤮👎

10/08/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this place! The place is rundown, the food is poor (both poor quality and poorly cooked), and the wait is embarrassing. The price is decidedly high for the amount of food. We couldn't pay with our debit card because they only accepted cash. Stay away!

07/08/2026: If you're camping in the Gola del Calo, you can't miss lunch here: the vegetable appetizer is exquisite, as is the wild boar and mushroom ragù. Traditional, fresh desserts are homemade. It's all run by a very kind and friendly husband and wife team. Reasonable prices for excellent quality.
