08/11/2025: It's been years since I've been to that pizzeria, today is Saturday and already seeing a few occupied tables I had a strange idea, but over the course of the evening we realized that despite the unsatisfactory pizza, decent service when paying the bill I felt like I was in Nice, totally exaggerated prices.....we will definitely never set foot in there again...

05/10/2025: Terrible experience, long wait times, dishes don't all arrive at the same time, so some people wait while others eat. Outside parking. Price/quality ratio is incommensurable.

21/09/2025: We had lunch at the restaurant. The waiters often need to be called to remind them to serve the next course, otherwise they make you wait needlessly. It took us two and a half hours to be served. In the end, they didn't bring us dessert because they'd run out, but they still demanded that we pay in full for the set menu, despite having one less course.

07/09/2025: We had a delicious meal after arriving in Naples. The waitress recommended a truly original Neapolitan pizza: ripieno montanara with cicoli (pork). I tried it and it was delicious! The terrace is in a courtyard with grapevines as a roof. Highly recommended.

29/06/2025: Unfortunately, after the last restyling, it has lost its charm. Casa Albero was not only food, but a comfortable environment with a board on the commandments of wine, which each time inspired a smile and reflection, because after all it was not just about wine. I understand that it is a time of boom in customers, but you can't eliminate an open kitchen and strip the walls of those same furnishings that together with good food gave a few hours of pure pleasure, for what? Yes, the food is always excellent, but the room is now insipid, bare, and when there are too many people the service inevitably drops because you find yourself with two waiters of dubious competence (no offense to the owner, but I have been repeatedly bumped into by hands and plates, and he ends up paying for their low competence). Recommended but, I repeat, only for the good food.

05/12/2025: Intrigued by the location, my girlfriend and I went to try it. It's a welcoming place; we ordered a platter for two and a baked potato with Iberico ham. The potato portion was tiny, and the ham was bland. The cured meats were good, although the caciotta and prosciutto seemed truly mediocre. The quality-price ratio was good, above average. It cost €35 for two, and I left, still hungry; we're going to get a kebab.

02/12/2025: We went here for breakfast in the countryside this morning. It's a cute and quaint place in the countryside. Maybe it was the bad weather, but it was a bit messy and cold in terms of the welcome and atmosphere. I'd also like to reconsider the service (a bit slow and they didn't know some things) and the beverage selection, especially the juices. We tried the croissants, which were nicely flaky and delicious in all flavors. The classic panettone was good, but the apricot one was even better. It's a shame they didn't have the sweet maritozzo or pain au chocolat. The bill was steep, I'd say; €2 cover charge is definitely too much (I'd definitely avoid it for breakfast). 3 croissants, 3 cappuccinos, 1 juice, 2 slices of panettone (€32). PS: I bought the bread, which was excellent. This is my third visit after a while. The place is cold, freezing, just like the last two. When I asked to turn on the heating, they told me it was broken, so since we had already ordered, we didn't leave (at least they were careful to mention it as soon as we entered). In the end, we were freezing, along with some who had eaten with their jackets on. At the end, no apology, no coffee or liquor offered, not even a discount to make up for it. We all thought it was the last time they'd see us. PS: The pizzas in the rotisserie were a no-no, tasteless and not a pizza in the rutiello at all. Frittatas and fried foods were characterless and expensive. The meat and sides were good.

02/09/2025: We went to this beach in person 20 days before our vacation to ask if there was availability for an umbrella for a certain period. They explained to us that the situation wasn't easy for them (which I understand). They also said there wouldn't be any problems, the space would be available; we just had to contact them a few days in advance. We wrote a few days before and they told us that the entire period wasn't available and that three days would be vacant. That's fine. They gave us the price (which wasn't the one we'd discussed, but that's fine; it was a busy day, she must have been confused). We tried to negotiate the price a bit and were told that they weren't a stall and that they don't hold auctions. That's fine, we apologize and accept, and we send the deposit. On our first day under the umbrella, the weather was practically unbearable, and the lady kindly advised us not to go down and that she would let us make up for it. This gesture was appreciated, and we promptly repaid her by eating (deliciously) on the beach despite having a house just a few meters away and a supermarket right next door. The surprise is that, if you get a period of uncertain weather (and I don't mean bad weather), the lines for umbrellas are halved and the party begins, something we obviously hadn't been told about (just like the shower, which isn't included in the umbrella rental; it's €15, including a €5 deposit for a card—well, that's fine, too). Basically, if it weren't for the staff at the bar, the spotlessly clean open kitchen, and the empathetic and professional lifeguards, this review would have one star. From the moment the lines are halved, everyone RIGHTFULLY wants the service they paid for, the place they paid for. Since it was frequented by a very relaxed, adult, and well-mannered clientele, there were no major problems for 10 days. The beach was self-managed, except that on the last day, an argument broke out between the beachgoers and the owner (who pretended to be the manager) came down and asked my pregnant partner and I to move the umbrella we'd paid for because she thought we wouldn't be going on the last day (despite the fact that it was expensive) and that we hadn't told them the days before that we'd be using it until the last day. And then, last but not least, she said, "Go to the back row because I'm in charge here and I make decisions." We didn't start any arguments; we simply pointed out that we were under the umbrella assigned to us. They're lucky because they're in an area with few alternatives: a tiny beach with umbrellas glued together. Your lounger is practically glued to the one next to it, maybe 20-30cm apart at most, so anyone in that area is almost forced to use it. The alternative would be the public beach. There were four of us (my partner, my parents, and I), but every day we set up our umbrellas on the public beach (since we'd brought them for the open-air days), so as not to crowd together even more (also because it's prohibited by the rules). Since it's very likely that this will be denied, I'm attaching a photo, one of which shows how the water practically rises, forcing us to remove the umbrellas (which really bothers me, and in fact we were silent for the entire duration of the holiday, and despite this, we were told who's in charge and who's not). Kindness is probably mistaken for foolishness.

21/08/2025: We went there with friends, and I had a Cremosissima coffee cream. Approved.

11/12/2025: I was here in the morning, there was no one there, yet I waited 10 minutes for someone to come and take my order. I almost thought the bar was closed. Anyway, the waiter arrives, we order 1 juice, 1 coffee, and 2 small doughnuts. He brings everything: the coffee without a glass of water, the frozen doughnuts without even reheating them, for a total of €7. I won't comment on the price, of course, but the quality and service are zero. Then I look at the person I was with and exclaim, "Well, it would have been better if we went to Granatello." Do you know what the waiter says? There's also the Village, ma'am, you can go there too, they do good things. I look at him, shocked, as if to say, are you kidding me? Speechless! Instead of making up for some shortcomings in the service, he even makes a joke. I'm sorry to say, but not everyone is up to the task of dealing with the public!

09/12/2025: I often go there for an aperitivo or after dinner. Beautiful place, welcoming at the door, fast service. The portions are very satisfying, the only flaw being the very dry pulled pork.

14/09/2025: The terrace overlooking the sea is fabulous. I'm sorry I can't say the same about the food. Spaghetti with clams and tuna bottarga: no tuna bottarga, the spaghetti al dente, the clams plentiful...no connection. Two separate first courses on the same plate. Cost €25 The tuna steak and fried calamari were good. Prices are a bit high...you pay for the view. 4 first courses and 2 second courses with a glass of wine €180

11/11/2025: Great surprise. Underated. The quality of the pizza was ideal : very tasty and not too heavy. The flavours are perfectly balanced and very tasteful. One of the best pizza I ever had honestly. Also, the staff and the management were delightful: very professional and helpful. They explain us how to do a good tomato sauce and even gave us a tomato can to bring back home. Thank you again for the grappa/limoncello. We'll be back.

15/11/2025: We received excellent service from Carmela and Rosario. It's a place we always go to when we're in Naples; it's very friendly and relaxed. I highly recommend the pizza alla Genovese!
