Nene Bistrot Restaurant
Napoli
02/08/2026: I am a ships crew member and I go out in Napoli every Saturday. Last time I went to Cervantes last week and I spent 20 Euros there on drinks and food. This time I only wanted a beer and I sat at a table outside. The waiter told me to go away and to sit inside at the bar if I want a beer. I went away for good. You lost a customer that would have spent 20 euros each Saturday until the end of October. That is 240 Euros gone from your pockets. I know Italian hospitality is not the best in the world but at least you can try (if you care about making money)
18/07/2026: We should have read the other reviews. We paid 4.5 for a cappuccino and 3 for a croissant. Rip-offs. Very disappointing.

Saraceno
Anacapri
06/07/2026: I came here a few times with a friend while in Anacapri. Service was always excellent. We always felt welcome and the staff were happy to answer our questions. The food was authentic and FRESH. Their recommendations were always spot on, specially pertinent to seasonal produce and dishes.
03/07/2026: Incredibly nice waiters. Good menu but the food did not meet the quality that the prices reflected. Expensive and mediocre food.

Sweet Pane
Pomigliano d'arco
18/06/2026: I've been there several times, passing by to buy lunch. Wide selection and good quality. Super reasonable prices. I recommend the Neapolitan sandwiches (the small ones), which are delicious.

13/07/2026: Quiet place. It was great. I was surprised because the food offered much more than I was used to.
12/07/2026: You eat well and lots of it! I went on Saturday and there's karaoke!

Il Ristoro del Campanile
Caserta
23/08/2026: In this restaurant we ordered two good first courses: cortecce with Caserta pork, what we enjoyed was the veal steak which I highly recommend.
20/08/2026: Located in the charming village of Casertavecchia, this pizzeria offers an overall satisfactory experience, where the strong point is the polite and friendly staff.
The prices are also fair and in keeping with the tourist location.

Blasus Bar
Succivo
18/07/2026: A very disappointing experience.
The service was very slow and disorganized, and the quality of the food I consumed didn't match the price. Furthermore, during my stay, I witnessed what I perceived as disrespectful behavior toward some staff members, which created an unpleasant atmosphere. Overall, it wasn't a positive experience, and I don't think I'll return.
13/03/2026: I was with my work colleagues and we stopped, it didn't hold the sfogliatella, it didn't hold the croissant with the cream, they gave me the wholemeal croissant and a coffee, it's okay with milk and coffee, they gave me the cappuccino, the total cost was €9

Trattoria del Padreterno
01/08/2026: I brought some friends from Naples and they were thrilled. Everything was excellent, as always, with the freshest fish cooked to perfection. One of the best seafood restaurants in Salerno, and unlike others, it has very fair prices.
19/05/2026: Seafood dish served semi-cold, background noise from the owner's phone was disturbing, sanitary facilities were inadequate, and there was no cleaning kit after a shellfish dish (wet towels or a bowl with water and lemon).

I Carretti di Ascea
Ascea
26/09/2025: Yes, the service is friendly and helpful.
02/09/2025: We went to this beach in person 20 days before our vacation to ask if there was availability for an umbrella for a certain period. They explained to us that the situation wasn't easy for them (which I understand). They also said there wouldn't be any problems, the space would be available; we just had to contact them a few days in advance.
We wrote a few days before and they told us that the entire period wasn't available and that three days would be vacant. That's fine. They gave us the price (which wasn't the one we'd discussed, but that's fine; it was a busy day, she must have been confused). We tried to negotiate the price a bit and were told that they weren't a stall and that they don't hold auctions. That's fine, we apologize and accept, and we send the deposit.
On our first day under the umbrella, the weather was practically unbearable, and the lady kindly advised us not to go down and that she would let us make up for it. This gesture was appreciated, and we promptly repaid her by eating (deliciously) on the beach despite having a house just a few meters away and a supermarket right next door.
The surprise is that, if you get a period of uncertain weather (and I don't mean bad weather), the lines for umbrellas are halved and the party begins, something we obviously hadn't been told about (just like the shower, which isn't included in the umbrella rental; it's €15, including a €5 deposit for a card—well, that's fine, too).
Basically, if it weren't for the staff at the bar, the spotlessly clean open kitchen, and the empathetic and professional lifeguards, this review would have one star. From the moment the lines are halved, everyone RIGHTFULLY wants the service they paid for, the place they paid for. Since it was frequented by a very relaxed, adult, and well-mannered clientele, there were no major problems for 10 days. The beach was self-managed, except that on the last day, an argument broke out between the beachgoers and the owner (who pretended to be the manager) came down and asked my pregnant partner and I to move the umbrella we'd paid for because she thought we wouldn't be going on the last day (despite the fact that it was expensive) and that we hadn't told them the days before that we'd be using it until the last day. And then, last but not least, she said, "Go to the back row because I'm in charge here and I make decisions." We didn't start any arguments; we simply pointed out that we were under the umbrella assigned to us.
They're lucky because they're in an area with few alternatives: a tiny beach with umbrellas glued together. Your lounger is practically glued to the one next to it, maybe 20-30cm apart at most, so anyone in that area is almost forced to use it. The alternative would be the public beach.
There were four of us (my partner, my parents, and I), but every day we set up our umbrellas on the public beach (since we'd brought them for the open-air days), so as not to crowd together even more (also because it's prohibited by the rules).
Since it's very likely that this will be denied, I'm attaching a photo, one of which shows how the water practically rises, forcing us to remove the umbrellas (which really bothers me, and in fact we were silent for the entire duration of the holiday, and despite this, we were told who's in charge and who's not). Kindness is probably mistaken for foolishness.

Pizz. Pulcinella C. Sebastiano
Ariano irpino
14/03/2026: Along with Oasi, this is the pizzeria of my adolescence. Before, it was only takeout, and the signature dish was the arancini. Available early in the evening. The standout, for me, is the Pulcinella sfogliato. A panuozzo that was created at the same time as the pizzeria. Delicious. I've always ordered everything takeout; I've never been served at a table. The owners are friendly and, with their down-to-earth approach, have been running a pizzeria since 1999. They're a family dedicated to their work. The pizza is good overall, although I almost always order the sfogliato, which is unique. The ingredients are spot on. I think the complaints, disagreements, and mistakes I read in other reviews are inevitable, but I'm absolutely certain the owners immediately remedied them, as they've always been kind and compassionate. Definitely worth a try.
26/12/2025: Delicious pizza, very friendly staff, and a very well-kept, detailed, and welcoming environment.

Ristoro Pozzallo
Camerota
06/08/2026: Nice but too expensive...ok, the place is difficult to manage...but you shouldn't even take advantage of the strategic location.
02/08/2026: They're only lucky because they have a monopoly on Pozzallo beach. The staff is unpleasant and rude.

Il Terrazzo del Lido Azzurro
Agropoli
23/08/2026: The owner of this establishment was very rude to us. Remember that in business, even if you get annoyed, you always have to smile.
16/08/2026: I don't know why there are so many negative reviews.
The staff is very friendly, as is the owner, and the beach is well-kept.

Pizzeria 82
Castellammare di stabia
13/05/2026: We had an excellent pizza, thin and crispy. Super affordable prices. Kind and empathetic owners. Facing the seafront.
04/04/2026: One of the worst dining experiences we've had in Italy.
They told us the restaurant was "full," while we were sitting at an empty table. Only after insisting did they seat us: it was clear from the start that they weren't interested in customers.
The drinks arrived quickly, and that's about the end of the good news. The food took over 45 minutes, with no updates. We had to keep asking, even though we told them we had a hungry child. They didn't care. To top it off, they completely forgot one of our three dishes.
And the food? Honestly, shocking. The pizzas were some of the worst we've ever eaten, anywhere. The dough was so hard it felt like chewing gum, the toppings were either burned or almost nonexistent, and the only thing they didn't skimp on was the cheese.
Terrible service, even worse food, and zero accountability. There are so many great places to eat in Italy: this isn't one of them. Avoid at all costs.

One of the worst dining experiences we've had in Italy.
We were told the restaurant was “full,” while staring at an empty table. Only after pushing did they seat us—clearly not interested in customers from the start.

And the food? Honestly shocking. The pizzas were among the worst we've ever had—anywhere. The dough was so tough it felt like chewing rubber, toppings were either burnt or barely there, and the only thing they didn't hold back on was cheese.
Bad service, worse food, and zero accountability. Plenty of amazing places to eat in Italy—this is not one of them. Avoid at all costs.

Mosé Pasticceria Lounge Bar
San sebastiano al vesuvio
12/08/2026: I go there almost every morning at 5:00, before work. The staff is always smiling and ready to welcome you in the kindest way possible. Recommended.
27/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
One of the best pastry shops in the area! Every time I go, I find the pastries always fresh, fragrant, and prepared with great care. You can see and taste the passion the pastry chefs put into their work: kudos to them, because the quality is always consistent and every dessert is a delight.
The place is spacious, bright, and has ample space with comfortable tables, perfect for both a relaxing breakfast and a break with friends.
The staff is always friendly, smiling, and helpful, making you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive.
The aperitifs are also not to be missed: rich, beautifully presented, and accompanied by excellent appetizers. A place that stands out for its quality, service, and attention to detail. Highly recommended!
