The Il Campanile restaurant gave us an excellent lunch with exquisite local specialities. The service was quick and professional. Pleasant and friendly welcome as if we were family. Highly recommended. All in the magnificent medieval village of Caserta Vecchia. To spend a day full of culture, history and excellent cuisine.

We stayed on New Year's Eve and ate from a fixed menu at 35 euros with a starter from the cash register, lasagna with artichokes, provola and sausage, grilled black pig with potatoes and papacelle, water, wine and desserts, coffee and bitters. Quick and courteous service, very available to the customer's needs. Definitely worth returning also because the location in old Caserta is unique!
