17/05/2025: Well-appointed restaurant with a large dining room, on sunny days you can also eat outside. A platter of cold cuts and mozzarella of truly excellent quality and genuine products, the meatballs are served with a grater and are truly exceptional. Quick service and very kind staff. We will definitely be back.

24/06/2025: Lovely location. Friendly and qualified staff. Excellent anchovies and ni for the courgette flowers and prawns covered in a cloying and invasive almost rubbery cheese sauce. Good wine by the glass, but the selection could be wider and more versatile by opening up to small local artisanal businesses. Worth a stop.

21/06/2025: Lido located on the Ascea seafront. Gino the owner and his wife are very kind people. The staff is also polite and helpful. At the restaurant you eat well and the price is normal. I recommend to those who like anchovies the scialatiello alla Sciabecco otherwise the paccheri swordfish and cherry tomatoes. Nice week.

20/05/2025: Ci Sono stato con mia moglie ed amici di domenica pomeriggio, e vi posso garantire che abbiamo mangiato veramente bene con antipasti semplici e tradizionale , porzioni abbondanti e cibo di buona qualità pesce fresco , personale gentile e cordiale e prezzi modici, sicuramente ci ritorno

14/05/2025: Esperienza da dimenticare personale incompetente Siamo arrivati al locale e a parte il pranzo fisso 10€, abbiamo ordinato un’orata divisa in due,due lattine di coca cola e 1 caffè. Totale 74€…..però ci hanno fatto 4€ di sconto😂 Mai più nella vita

08/06/2025: I would like to point out that yesterday we booked at 9:15 pm and they seated people who booked at 9:30 pm if not later than us. In fact, at a certain point we left. The pizza is good, I had already been there once, but unfortunately one star for the organization.

02/06/2025: We came at 9pm, 4 of us, after waiting 1 hour to order. When ordering pizzas, they told us that they had run out of dough for the pizzas. The waiters were unfriendly. I do not recommend.

10/03/2025: Sono stato a cena in questo locale sito ad Altavilla Silentina devo dire che abbiamo mangiato veramente bene. Erano buoni sia i primi (ravioli alla zucca e cavatelli con asparagi e vongole) che i secondi (misto carne e scaloppina ai funghi). Buonissimo l'amaro ai sapori del Cilento prodotto da loro. pagato 40 euro con 1/2 litro di vino,acqua e caffè. Varamente buono rapporto qualità/prezzo. Da consigliare.

14/06/2025: Chaotic atmosphere, too many people in the place, where it's hot, and the tables are so close that you can talk to the one next to you. Service, they made us sit inside with free tables outside, maybe they were booked but partly because of my fault and partly because they weren't clear in their answer to my question. Good waiters. We took 2 sandwiches. The bread wasn't from today and not of great quality. My sandwich had a miserable amount of Pulled pork and 2 other ingredients, I basically ate bread for 11 euros. My wife took a Calabrese, the provola wasn't melted, everything inside was cold including the hamburger. Average beers but high price. It's been my pub since I was 15 but unfortunately I have to say that it has gotten much worse, and I'm sorry about that. 1 portion of chips, 2 sandwiches, 2 beers and cover charge and water more than 40 euros, seeing the prices. I'm reviewing while I'm still at the table.

14/06/2025: We were looking for a restaurant open late, so we found ourselves there by chance. We all ate very well, in my case the pizza was excellent, the dough risen very well. Highly recommended!

The fifth star is heartfelt for the maraschino, increasingly rare in restaurants. Overall simple menu - no gourmet options - a couple of choices of land and sea. Menu, second course, side dish, fruit and glass of wine €25.00

06/06/2025: Small but very welcoming place, friendly and helpful staff, fast service and excellent food. We had the Vertigo chips as an appetizer and they were very crunchy. The sandwiches were delicious and very large. You could taste all the flavors, they were really well made. Top quality ingredients. We were really very satisfied. We will definitely be back!

12/06/2025: We were disappointed with our visit to Baccofurore. For the price, I expected some of the food to have an element of innovation/ a wow-factor - the food was underwhelming and we have had much better food for half the price during our holiday. The service was not good. We had a tasting menu and wine pairing. We were given a dirty wine glass, one of the dishes was served while I was in the bathroom so I didn’t know what I was actually eating (which I wouldn’t expect from a restaurant of this type) and they gave our coffee order to another table. I know accidents/mistakes happen but I think good service can make all the difference in your overall experience when leaving a meal where the food was mediocre - I found the service a bit ‘cold’ and definitely not in line with the warm and welcoming service we have experienced everywhere else during our holiday. The Marisa Cuomo wine was nice and the winery tour was also good but I’d recommend spending your money on food elsewhere. The setting of this place however is stunning - I’m not sure whether you can go for just a drink but if you can, I’d recommend going for some of the Marisa Cuomo wines and then doing the free tour of the winery (we did the tasting menu with Marisa Cuomo tasting/private tour package).

10/12/2024: Small but clean, welcoming place. The owner Giovanni, a kind and helpful person. Excellent quality food, lasagna and ravioli, roast and braised meat, crispy dessert and baked potatoes plus a bitter offered by the house all for only 25 euros per person. We will return as soon as we are in those parts.

28/11/2024: We ate very well in this place, the first course and the second course were good. The bread was really special. Honest prices. I highly recommend it.
