We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was magical! The amenities were fantastic and the staff were SO friendly and helpful. We had a lot of questions about the city, the bus system, and an early check out and they always had an answer and were so wonderful. I was also sick at one point and they called in their doctor early to have a special appointment. The spa services were to DIE for, and the pools were all amazing!! This was the PERFECT place to stay in Ischia and on our honeymoon. The food and service in the restaurant was also spectacular. Would highly recommend!!

This place was unbelievable! Hands down one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. Food/Service were excellent. The spa was gorgeous and the pools were second to none! Highly recommend this place.

A truly incredible stay and experience! Upon arriving and until we left, we don’t have enough good things to say about the resort. The staff were incredible; friendly, attentive and helpful. We never felt like we had to think about the small things, because the team had already taken care of it. The location is, in our mind, unbeatable. You have panoramic views of San Montano beach all the way to Lacco Ameno. The infinity pools that gave you this view are truly unreal. Getting to the beach, or down to the local town, was as easy as jumping in their complementary shuttle. Big shoutout to the pizza bar as well, incredible pizza overlooking the ocean. Can’t beat that! Overall, we couldn’t recommend San Montano Resort enough, and hope to be back soon!

Lots of pros but a couple of cons. The location is spectacular with astonishing views all around. The staff in reception were exceptional but a couple of times I ordered drinks or food and it seemed to get forgotten about which isn’t what you expect for 5 start hotel. I asked for a tea sitting in one outside area of the hotel and was told to move to the pool because the bar in that area wasn’t open yet (again, not great for 5 stars especially as the reception had said it was fine to order a drink from there). The room was lovely but the shower was a bit hit and miss. The water went cold a few times and there wasn’t really enough pressure to really rinse your hair (tricky if you have long hair). I get that this may just be a problem of older buildings. The shuttle drivers were brilliant and the beach was gorgeous.

San Montano is located on top of a hill, with beautiful 360 degree view of the ocean and volcano near by. Very charming hotel, great food, but most of all a stellar staff! Everyone, absolutely everyone was amazing from the first moment. We cannot be any happier, it was a perfect honeymoon! Thank you!

We went to the San Montano resort for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The service from the staff alone was world class, and they have the facilities, views, and food to match. A huge thank you to the staff for making it an unforgettable trip! We will definitely be back.

1. Let’s speak about that driver they have. The one who they offer you to drive you most of the time : He is the worst driver. Stressful. Will drive you very very fast in very tight roads, with no respect to anyboddy. Enjoy seeing him telling you that the car is electric and cant go slow 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 He’ll also get pissed if you’re 5min late 😅 2. The bar pool : service=0. Thanks goodbye. 3. Rooms : ac working perfectly. Privacy : not ok if you have garden view. They will not have you water in the room unless you ask for it everyday 😉 4. Concierge service : super. 5. Views : top. Conclusion : i’d go elsewhere if possible. Otherwise its just fine.

If you want the best, this is the best. The attention to detail is not missed in any aspect of the stay.

AMAZING Hotel. The grounds are just beautiful. So many pool options, breathtaking 360 views, and really a special location. We stayed in one of the newer rooms and it was gorgeous and modern. Also the staff provided some of the BEST (if not the best) I have ever had a resort. They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect!
