18/11/2025: My husband and I had lunch at Brontolone last Sunday and it was a truly delightful experience. We started with a house-made antipasto cooked with the freshest fish, featuring authentic and well-balanced flavors. Next up was vermicelli with clams: perfectly al dente pasta, a rich sauce, and a very distinctive plating that made all the difference. The highlight was the grilled prawns, succulent and well-cooked, accompanied by a fresh salad that complemented the flavor. To finish, we enjoyed two house-made desserts: a crispy and delicate millefeuille and a creamy and fresh berry cheesecake. The service was friendly and always attentive in a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. This is a trattoria definitely worth recommending.

14/11/2025: I went there last Friday for dinner with some work friends, and I can only say good things. I was very satisfied with the appetizers, first courses, second courses, etc. The service was very attentive, the fish was very fresh, and the portions were generous, just the way I like them, without sacrificing quality. I hope to go there some evening with my wife.

26/10/2025: What can I say? Everything was excellent. The €30 menu, excellent food, and super helpful and attentive waiters. We'll definitely be back.

04/11/2025: Massimo, Luigi, and Nino are always courteous and professional in their work. This is a very nice bar located in the center of Massa Lubrense. Pizza, rotisserie, ice cream, granitas, cocktails, and coffee are top notch.

05/07/2025: Recomiendo mucho este encantador restaurante. Increíbles vistas del atardecer con fabulosos cócteles. Luego cenamos en el encantador restaurante cubierto, la comida era increíble. Recomendaría el pulpo a la plancha (pruébalo, ¡el mejor que hemos probado nunca!), luego el risotto de marisco estaba increíble. El traslado desde y hacia el restaurante fue muy de agradecer. Un servicio encantador y una velada inolvidable. ¡Gracias!

10/03/2025: In vacanza con amici, ci siamo imbattuti in questo locale davvero carino e incuriosito abbiamo deciso di bere un drink. Locale elegante e molto suggestivo, arredato con cura, offre vasta scelta di drink buonissimi a prezzi in linea alle aspettative...forse anche economiche per la location! Personale simpatico e preparato, pronti a dare consigli! Consigliatissimo per un dopo cena elegante

17/09/2025: As the name suggests, it's unpretentious. However, it's a very busy, clean place with very friendly staff. It's self-service. I had bean soup and I have to say it was really good. First courses are usually 5 euros, second courses 6 or a little more, and side dishes 3. Then there's water and a couple of slices of bread.

28/08/2025: I was coming back from Fortorina for work, I still had an hour to go home, I searched on Google and I was lucky, excellent food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, the dish in the photo was €13, congratulations, if I return to the area for work I will try to come back

16/10/2025: In the age of remote check-ins, finding the warmth of a genuine welcome is truly priceless. This is how Giovanna welcomed us one September evening, when we were on our motorcycle trip a few kilometers from Faicchio and began searching for a place to stop before setting off the following day. With over 200 kilometers under our belt, we were quite desperate after a dozen phone calls from various establishments, all of which told us they had no rooms available without prior notice… Then Giovanna's kind voice said, “If you give me 15 minutes, I'll come and prepare the room for you.” We discovered the farmhouse in the woods and immediately asked to stay at least two nights… which then became four because we never wanted to leave this quiet and welcoming corner of paradise. On Sunday, we even had the chance to sample Giovanna's delicacies… absolutely worth trying! But the hostess's hospitality goes much further, because due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to leave our motorcycle with her and return by train. Needless to say... Giovanna accompanied us to the station and came back to pick us up today when we finally managed to return to pick up our motorized steed. We discovered our favorite place and also a new friend who embodies the essence of hospitality. Here, you can feel kindness in every detail. And since words can't fully describe such beauty... I recommend you do as good old Thomas did ;-)

21/11/2025: The hotel has a good location and nice facilities. Ample parking is available. The downside is the size of the rooms (small). Regarding the bathroom, we were only given enough toiletries (soap, shampoo) for two people, even though there were three of us. It also had a bad smell, apparently coming from the drains. Because of this, we had to keep the bathroom window open constantly, even though it was autumn, cold, and rainy during our stay. The reception staff, despite their kindness, didn't speak Spanish, making communication difficult. There's a pizzeria or restaurant next door that's connected to the hotel. The night before we left, we wanted to use the complimentary drink (a bottled juice) and also wanted to eat something there, as we were very tired. We had had a long day trip to Amalfi, Positano, and Sorrento. Of the three young men serving the tables, one was rude and discriminatory towards us. He wouldn't let us into the restaurant when I told him we were there for the complimentary drink. He told us the barmaid would serve us and that we should sit in some uncomfortable chairs near the entrance with very high tables. It was obvious to him that we were older women with limited mobility (in our sixties). Then he stayed behind chatting and laughing with his colleagues. The barmaid was also dismissive. This happened on November 20, 2025. It's unfortunate that an experience that could have been pleasant and memorable, like visiting beautiful Pompeii, was marred by a situation that could have been easily avoided with trained and respectful staff.

16/11/2025: I stayed in the Villa dei mistiri room and really enjoyed it, there is lots of attention to detail, it does not feel cheap or tacky, they've done it really well, the room is large and very clean. They did unfortunately have scaffolding up which obscured the view from the balcony. The breakfast had a huge variety of things and was all very good quality. The staff were always about and friendly, including the manager who would greet all their guests each morning at breakfast and let us know about anything going on in the area. Well worth the price, best location for Pompeii Ruins, good breakfast and really good rooms.

05/09/2025: Ample outdoor parking. Excellent pizza at great prices. At lunchtime, you can order the pizza menu: delicious croquettes, a choice of pizza (over 20), and water for €10.00. The pizza is easy to digest and very good. It's a decent size, and the toppings are very good.

04/09/2025: The food quality is excellent, especially since they guarantee zero cross-contamination for celiacs. Quick service and very friendly staff. The atmosphere is noisy. Overall, a positive review.

22/10/2025: We went out to eat with 10 people. Everyone was very satisfied. Starter, main course, fish, pasta, dessert, liqueur, fried fish. So, a truly complete meal. It was the equivalent of €40. Service was excellent and fast. Only the Wi-Fi password was too long 😂

02/11/2025: We look back on our evening at this restaurant with mixed feelings. The food was delicious, perhaps a bit pricey, but that wasn't a problem for us. Our disappointment was mainly due to the pace at which the dishes were served: within an hour, we'd eaten three courses. We didn't need coffee (yet), after which the receipt was immediately left on our table without asking. I still had half a glass of wine when they arrived with the card machine. It's so annoying and distressing to be looked away and chased away because people were waiting outside. We had a reservation, but the hurried pace really detracted from what had been a lovely evening.

25/10/2025: A cozy place where everything is gluten-free, which gives you real freedom of mind when you sit down to eat.

26/10/2025: Delicious pizza. Fast, professional, and impeccable service. The venue is elegant and well-kept. I couldn't have asked for anything better. My compliments to everyone, truly.

24/10/2025: A very pleasant place with excellent food and service. I recommend the tuna tartare. And the very friendly Nicola was an excellent guide for both food and drinks.
