23/11/2024: You immediately feel at home. Clean and intimate, like the trattorias of the past, you can breathe fresh sea air in every dish of the young chef Roberto, while Max entertains his guests. I tried various first courses and I recommend ordering the Genoese seafood dish. The fried prawns and calamari are light and not greasy. The choice of wines is excellent and I recommend a Falanghina. Fair prices and consistent with the quality of the food.

21/11/2024: I usually never write negative reviews but not this time. They served me a "lemon scallop" as I ordered which was completely inedible. I returned it but despite this they charged me the same. Even though I pointed this out, the owner was so rude that I feel like suggesting everyone strongly advise against going to this place as it absolutely does not reflect the famous gastronomy of Campania.

11/08/2024: Tutto perfetto, il cibo era straordinario buonissimo e bellissimo, una cucina spettacolare io sono amante del pesce, vado a mangiarlo spesso in vari posti , ma il Top one è davvero unico come d’altronde il suo nome. Il mio spaghetto a vongole era sublime, pieno di vongole pasta cotta alla perfezione per non parlare dell’insalata di polpo e i ravioli al polpo… non ho parole per descrivere il calore del posto; il signor Gennaro ama il suo ristorante e ti fa innamorare di tutto a partire dalla cucina fino al servizio , la moglie in cucina è straordinaria quando assaggi i suoi piatti senti il mare anche se dalla zona non si direbbe. Quando si lavora con amore tutto il resto vien da sè. TOP!!!!

09/09/2024: sono stato l'8 settembre per festeggiare la comunione di mio figlio e devo dire che oltre ad essere una location fantastica con panorama mozzafiato c'è anche il titolare Pasquale che è una persona serie e disponibile cosi come il maitre e tutti i camerieri che sono molto disponibili e professionali il cibo è di qualità ottimi i crudi freschissimi, ho avuto i complimenti da tutti gli ospiti per la scelta perchè oltre ad essere una location con un bel panorama si è anche mangiato divinamente, lo consiglio a tutti

07/01/2025: We were staying at the Vergilius Billia hotel and one night when we were tired we decided to go to the hotel restaurant, without a doubt one of the best decisions of the trip, the pizzas are delicious and the service is highly recommended

03/01/2025: Terrible Experience - Wouldn’t Recommend I recently visited this restaurant in Napoli, and it was a huge disappointment. I ordered a Caesar salad, and what I received was a soggy mess drenched in way too much dressing—it completely overpowered the dish. To make matters worse, they served it with fried sandwich bread instead of proper croutons. It felt like no effort or care was put into the preparation. For a city known for its amazing cuisine, this place fell far below expectations. Save your money and go somewhere else—you’ll thank yourself.

20/10/2024: The review is for the restaurant, we did not use the beach services as our visit dates back to the last day of the season. So partial exculpation on some things that didn't go over the top. Availability and courtesy both on the phone for booking, in the morning, and also as a welcome for our little dog. A bee landed on two out of three plates at our table, in the presence of the waiter, and the plates were changed without batting an eyelid. However, a spectacular view (photos attached) is not enough to justify prices of a starred restaurant, in the absence of starred quality. Fish dishes with very little fish, a lot of "research", but very little substance. The sommelière, penalized by a cellar reduced to the bone at the end of the season, presented us with almost excessive enthusiasm a couple of wines and, once we had chosen the Vesuvian one (for a question of coherence with the place), she abandoned us so as not to pour not even a drop anymore. The same goes for water. Things that I wouldn't notice if the price of the experience had been proportionate, but which I am forced to underline in this case. It must be reiterated that the view enjoyed of Vesuvius and the entire southern part of the Gulf of Naples is indeed worthy, but it is not enough.

29/12/2024: This is not a review of Il Fornillo's food, which we unfortunately did not get to try, but their customer service and attention to detail. We made a reservation for dinner on their site in December and received an automated confirmation. We walked about a half mile up and down a lot of stairs to get there from our hotel. When we arrived at the restaurant at our reservation time, Il Fornillo was closed. Net, even if you do make a reservation, I recommend calling to confirm that the restaurant is open since accept reservations for times at which they're closed.

04/11/2024: We went for lunch yesterday with my husband, a disappointing rustic starter, perhaps recycled. Ravioli with porcini mushrooms, terrible quality, the external sheet is very hard, thank goodness there were 7 small ones, 3 I ate, 1 my husband ate, 1 fell, 2 left on the plate The fusilli pan was affordable. Two sausages and one cut were sufficient and quite good, great disappointment when we found that they had been made with a cylinder-powered griddle, the embers we were expecting were extinguished. My husband asked for chestnuts, nothing, as can be accepted in a restaurant in the place ? Everywhere we go during this period for lunch and dinner, in the rustic areas, in the Piacenza area or in Cilento, we are served roasted chestnuts and local desserts. I honestly don't recommend it, luckily yesterday it was just me and my husband
