10/09/2025: I had a fantastic dinner here, the service was brilliant and the food was absolutely delicious. The setting was very romantic, we were lucky there was a thunder storm and were able to see lightening over our beautiful dinner. I had the rabbit ravioli as a main and it was absolutely delightful, and my husband had a delicious beef dish. I feel it was very reasonably priced, I’ve dined at Michelin starred restaurants that have charged much more but delivered far less. It was a gorgeous evening ❤️ thank you zi nannina

09/09/2025: A restaurant not to be missed if you're passing through Ischia. Breathtaking views of the sea and the Castello Aragonese. Everything is perfect for a romantic lunch or dinner. Refined cuisine featuring local produce. A menu to suit all tastes and impeccable service. A restaurant to discover without hesitation. You have to search a little to find this wonderful place, which is truly worth the detour.

03/11/2025: The place is very small and dark... We hadn't booked, but they seated us anyway, except that—once we'd ordered—they made it clear we had to hurry up and eat because "they'd already done us a favor..." Moral of the story: We didn't finish the pizza, which was also burnt! Incredible!

14/12/2025: At the new Pizzeria Capuano, the welcome was truly special: smiles, kindness, and a rare level of helpfulness from the moment we entered. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with enthusiasm and offered a freshly baked pizza, fragrant and delicious, a gesture that expressed all the passion and love for this profession. The service was extremely fast and impeccable, despite the crowds. The attention to customer service is evident in every detail, making us want to return soon to try everything else. Congratulations to the entire staff and best of luck on this new adventure!

02/12/2025: On Sunday, we decided to try this restaurant I'd heard about. It had a rustic and welcoming tavern-like atmosphere, with classic Neapolitan music playing in the background. Excellent dishes, attentive and discreet service, and a good value. I really enjoyed the pasta and potatoes, with provola cheese and crispy bacon—it was truly delicious. Otherwise, everything was good; I can't find any negatives, except for the standard desserts, which, while good, are average compared to the other dishes, which are decidedly superior.

15/08/2025: Homemade flavors prepared slowly with high-quality ingredients. The Ischia-style sedanini and the pasta with meat and onions are a must-try. The grilled tagliata. The tart and watermelon were served for the finale. Water and soft drinks were plentiful. Today's Ferragosto menu consisted of a platter with a selection of cured meats and cheeses (the ricotta was excellent), a choice of two first courses, and a second course with a side dish. Dessert and fruit €50. No coffee.

26/10/2025: The fruit gelato flavors are excellent! They also serve jellies in their natural shells. There are also a few tables where you can enjoy your gelato. The staff is friendly and fast. Street parking is available.

19/10/2025: Our last night in Italy and we lucked into our best dining experience. We came 20 minutes before our reservation time, having an early morning flight out of Naples and the owner, Giovanni, couldn’t have been more welcoming, setting us up with wine and delicious antipasti of shaved meats and savory cheeses, while he made his way back and forth between the kitchen and our table. The main dish, a simple butter, cheese and truffle fettuccini, was out of this world good.. As we finished with some delicious biscuits, he called in his lovely wife, Joanna, and one of his two sons and made us feel as if we had had dinner at an old friend’s. Clearly, the best meal and best experience of our trip!

23/08/2025: The menu is too limited; you end up ordering the same thing over and over again. The culinary offerings aren't particularly sophisticated. Fondue is a no-no in August...they need a change. As for the service...I don't think a wine bar can afford to have table staff who know nothing about wine. People eat on the street in the summer.

18/11/2025: Terrible service, to the point where I got up and started grabbing beers myself. They ignored me fully. I asked for a menu and never got it.

12/11/2025: My wife and I got married in Sorrento, we had a large group travel with us, which can sometimes be hard to find places to accommodate a big group! The English bar was our last port of call on most nights. The staff were super friendly and the secret garden area was beautiful! Highly recommended!

03/11/2025: Starting with the experience, the interior is very beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the pizzeria's distinctive branding is often present. The woman who looked after our table, Francesca, was very kind and professional, even in her recommendations and menu descriptions. My partner and I chose to start with two delicious appetizers: Montanarina alla Genovese and, for a change, Frittatina di pasta alla Genovese. Needless to say, both were delicious (I preferred the montanarina). The pizzas were superb, both the dough and the toppings. The more delicate of the two: the Scarpariello. Rating: 9/10 The most interesting: the Finocchiona. Rating: 8/10. The desserts were super unique, autumnal and homemade, delicious. In short, highly recommended!

The dough is light, digestible, and perfectly leavened, while the quality of the ingredients is evident from the first bite: everything is fresh and meticulously prepared. The place is beautiful, modern yet welcoming, perfect for a dinner with friends or family. The prices are slightly above average, but absolutely justified by the quality and overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pizza that combines flavor, attention to detail, and a pleasant atmosphere!

25/09/2025: A very friendly place to have a bite to eat and enjoy a drink. Pepe went out of his way to please and nothing was too much trouble - arranged an English breakfast for us each morning. Coffee and cakes also tasty - staff very friendly. Would recommend a visit.

24/09/2025: Founded in 1844 beneath Palazzo Maresca, Gran Caffè Marianiello is part gelateria, pasticceria, and bar. The curved counter with domed pozzetti lids preserves traditional flavours like nocciola and fiordilatte, while the pastry case offers sfogliatelle, cannoli, and biscotti for gifting. I chose nocciola gelato paired with salted caramel: dense, creamy, slowly yielding in the shade. The dairy was so clean and fresh it almost brought moisture to the eyes; the churn smooth, near-perfect. A touch less sugar and it would have been flawless. A landmark of continuity and craft. 9.5/10.
