The sunset view from San Domenico is simply breathtaking—one of those views that makes you pause for a moment before ordering, because you realize you're looking at something rare. That alone would be worth the visit. But the cuisine is no exception: the gnocchi with gurnard, snapper, strawberries, and chili pepper are an extraordinary dish—creativity, technique, and Calabrian terroir blend impeccably. Sweet, seafood, spicy. A balance few manage to achieve. The service is top-notch, attentive, and never intrusive. Special mention to Maria Concetta, whose professionalism and warmth made the evening even more enjoyable—the kind of welcome that makes you feel like a guest, not a customer. San Domenico plays in Serie A. One of the best restaurants on the Calabrian coast, without a doubt.

08/06/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Hops Steak House, and the experience was truly excellent. The meat was top-quality, cooked to perfection, and served with great care. The restaurant is welcoming, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it ideal for both a dinner with friends and a special evening. The staff is friendly, professional, and always available to recommend the best dishes. The selection of beers and side dishes is also excellent. You can sense their attention to the quality of the ingredients and their passion for the food. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good meat. I'll definitely be back!

14/05/2026: Honestly, it's one of the most expensive places in the area. The fried fish was good, but we paid half the price at another nearby restaurant for similar quality. The service was excellent, no complaints there, and they even offered us a complimentary prosecco. However, I think the price is a bit too high.

08/05/2026: Good quality food, service too, prices not exactly cheap but not very expensive either, shame about the decor which definitely needs modernizing, but we were told that there is already a renovation project and it is definitely worth it.

30/06/2026: I was looking for a thin, light, and easily digestible pizza, and I found it here. Delicious! Many types of pizza, low prices. Nice, shaded, and quiet area. Very friendly staff. Convenient parking nearby.

10/07/2026: Recommended to me by a Sicilian who lives in Pizzo, I have to say I was really pleased with everything. First of all, the dishes were very carefully prepared, well-cooked, and the portions were generous. I've been there several evenings for dinner, and the food and service have always been excellent. Centrally located, two minutes from the square, but on a quiet street where you can eat in a relaxed atmosphere!

The facility is meticulously maintained, elegant, clean, and truly relaxing. The spa was a wonderful experience: welcoming spaces, a tranquil atmosphere, and top-notch services. The restaurant and service were also excellent, with great customer service and truly high quality. But the real difference was the staff: kind, professional, always smiling, and available at all times. They made you feel pampered and important throughout your stay. It was an unforgettable stay, full of relaxation and well-being. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a special experience. My sincere compliments to the entire staff!

16/06/2026: Divine place. it couldn’t be more perfect. The owner is a really lovely man and the Service was impeccable. The tuna with the cipolla rossa was spectacular. Followed by pistachio encrusted sea bass. I had plans for another place, but I want up going back and ordering the same thing, it was so delicious!!!

01/06/2026: For us, this is the best restaurant in Tropea. We completely understand the many positive reviews, but we simply don't understand the few negative ones. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone – whether you're looking for fish, meat, or an excellent, high-quality pizza. The value for money is outstanding. Despite the large number of customers, you're always served with warm Italian hospitality and friendliness. Every time we're in Tropea, we eat here at least twice, often even more often. A definite recommendation and an essential part of every Tropea vacation.

05/07/2026: The restaurant's simple decor, but its atmosphere immediately captivates. The staff is exquisite, kind, and truly welcoming—a true asset! The food is authentic, prepared according to traditional recipes: generous portions and truly excellent! The real highlight (in our opinion) is the homemade gnocchi, absolutely exceptional, as is the pappardelle with wild boar, truly delicious. Highly recommended!

28/06/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. What can I say? Excellent cuisine, exquisite owner, extremely kind and available to answer our every request. We enjoyed two octopus dishes (the place, Joppolo, is famous for its octopus dishes), in salad and with potatoes. EXCELLENT, TASTY, highly recommended. Prices are reasonable and the service is guaranteed. Many of the products are fresh, home-grown, and the portions are generous. We'll definitely be back.

09/06/2026: If you love sunsets, this is the place for you. The sunsets are fabulous, especially with Stromboli in the background. The food is very good. The staff is attentive and friendly. The resort is beautiful and clean.
