02/05/2025: Last week I had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant. We were greeted by smiling and helpful staff and owner. The service was very fast and attentive. As an appetizer I took the Calabrian-scented octopus with celery, bamboo heart, Marsala raisins, fresh tomato, dehydrated orange flakes. A delight for the palate. The mango linguine with red prawns, bacon, Calabrian pecorino and nduja, very good. The owner showed me the piece of fresh swordfish and I ordered it. They served it with porcini mushrooms, potato chips and fresh cherry tomatoes, it was excellent! As well as the roasted octopus with onion and oranges. The balance of flavors is expertly dosed in all dishes. I promised myself I would return soon. I asked for a chocolate with coffee and the lady brought me them in different flavours. Quality and courtesy distinguish this place. The place is small and clean. The bathroom is unique for both sexes but clean and compliant. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent service and really tasty food with preparations made on the spot and fresh pasta made by them and with eggs and chickens raised. Really highly recommended. Must try the mussels with pepper! We would have also liked to try the pizza, given its advertising on the pizzaiola, but it will be for another time for sure!! Goodbye

27/05/2025: The food was okay, but the service was a bit overwhelmed at times. For example: We ordered an orata (sea bream), but "unfortunately, it's out, have a spigola, it's similar." Okay, we ordered a spigola, but a slice of pesce spada (grilled swordfish) arrived that we hadn't ordered. On our table were the white wine we ordered in the cooler and two filled glasses. A waiter appeared with a bottle of red wine and two glasses, expressed surprise that we supposedly hadn't ordered it, and left again (the wine was eagerly awaited at the neighboring table, 50 cm away). A similar thing happened again with spaghetti vongole, which was brought to us but meant for someone else ;-)))). Maybe next time we'll just eat and drink whatever they bring us 🙃 Always well-stocked, that might explain it.

26/05/2025: One of the best pizzas in Tropea. Very attentive staff and located in the old town. Comfortable and with an extensive menu. The prices are reasonable, but what stands out most is the service. Definitely going back!

30/05/2025: Good dinner. All dishes were delicious. We ordered grilled seafood, octopus salad, pizza, water and a small glass of beer. We were very full. The bill for two was 50 € Fast service. Menu in Italian/English

19/05/2025: Room for improvement – ​​with strong cuisine! 🍕 The food was truly excellent, especially the pizza – exceptionally delicious and of a high standard of taste! Unfortunately, the ambiance couldn't quite keep up: The decor seems a bit dated, and the atmosphere was very hectic, also due to the constant coming and going of people picking up food. The staff unfortunately seemed very unmotivated, which somewhat dampened the overall impression. With a little more effort and a quieter environment, this restaurant has real potential to improve significantly.

30/05/2025: Everything was fantastic! Absolutely among the best restaurants in Calabria. Chef Bruno was excellent and the service was perfect, very kind and super informed. We had two fish appetizers (shrimp cocktail and trio of raw fish), two first courses (spaghetti with anchovies & paccheri di mare) and a second course of seared tuna to share. Everything was delicious and of local origin! The local culinary excellence is prepared and served with Michelin-star professionalism and quality! Thank you so much for the welcome and the experience, we can't wait to come back!

16/05/2025: Me and my friend went for a dinner in this nice restaurant and when we arrived i notice the very welcoming and nice ambient, the owner and the server accomodate us in a nice table and “cuddle” us since the beginning; we got served a starter after few minutes with crispy rice and a parmigiano cream phenomenal, than our server provide to take our order. we shared an antipasto “paese” which came with all fresh local stuff as ricotta fresca,sopressata,a very delicate and tasty parmigiana,onion omelet and nduja bruschetta; as main course we both got pasta: mine was with anchovies, nduja crumble (never seen and really interesting),caramelized onion and wild fennel, my friend got the one with raw langustine,stracciatella and pistacchio…both were PHENOMENAL! We didn’t have any space for dessert but we’re going back for sure to try it; highly recommended

04/05/2025: Enchanting location in a central but not chaotic area. All the staff were very attentive to our requests and above all always kind and helpful, with a constantly present smile on their faces. We started with two “Alice” starters, very welcome with fresh and local products. Subsequently we chose two first courses "Armonia Mediterranea" which we highly recommend, as it was a true explosion of flavours. We concluded with a good fry with very fresh calamari and prawns and a double-cooked octopus. Absolutely honest account, excellent value for money. Really really good, super recommended, we had a wonderful Sunday! Well done.

23/03/2025: Beautiful evening. Also thanks to an excellent white wine from Falco farms, served at the right temperature, we spent a wonderful Saturday evening with friends. Super fried cuttlefish, spaghetti with cuttlefish ink, wow, whoever had them with sea urchins was delighted. And then... the amberjack, the monkfish stew and cuttlefish all top marks. Punctual, impeccable service. I can't wait to return.

02/05/2025: Sono molto delusa da un locale che non ha idea di cosa sia un buon servizio nei confronti del cliente. Abbiamo aspettato 40 minuti per due caffè che non sono mai arrivati mentre veniva servito chi era arrivato dopo di noi. All' ennesimo tentativo di presa in giro da parte della "cameriera" ( credo che la ragazza in questione non sappia nemmeno il significato del termine cameriera) ci siamo alzati e siamo andati via senza aver visto nemmeno da lontano l'ombra dei due caffè ordinati. Non tornerò di certo.
