01/03/2026: On one of the many streets that crisscross this city waiting to be discovered, a pleasant surprise: the excellent food and the owner's hospitality are certainly worth it.

21/02/2026: After a long day at work, I notice the sign and don't hesitate. I walk in and am immediately greeted by the very kind owner. Perhaps I went for dinner at "Swiss" hours, but it was more than peaceful: I was the only one there, and the owner took over the kitchen just for me and was able to reconcile me with the world... a pasta dish that received an A+ and a seared tuna executed to perfection. A little detail that unfortunately few people do: he asked me how cooked it was... well done, I finally managed to eat tuna that doesn't turn to a shoe sole!!! The menu is as a menu should be: not too many choices, not too few, but still leaving you spoiled for choice. The owner is very approachable and kind, but never intrusive. What can I say? I've found my place when I return to Reggio...

It's not just a bar, but a reference point for anyone who loves quality and hospitality. ​Why it deserves 5 stars: ​Record-breaking Granita and Brioche: Their granita (especially the coffee or almond ones) accompanied by the classic warm brioche col tuppo is, in my opinion, one of the best in the city. A perfect balance of flavors. ​Author's Pastry Shop: Whether it's mini pastries, cakes, or traditional local classics, the quality of the ingredients is evident from the first bite. The desserts are always fresh and carefully presented. ​Excellent Coffee: An espresso served as it should be, perfect for starting the day or for a regenerating break. 20/04/2026: Terrible experience. I tried to order a cake by contacting them on Instagram first, but there was no response. After calling them, one of them told me to message them on WhatsApp, but there was no response either. Only after a reminder did they respond, but they said they don't respond on WhatsApp (so they ignored the message). Even though a colleague of theirs had pointed me to that contact, they explained it off as confusion and that to place an order, you have to go there! And what do people who are always working and can't do? So I turned to another pastry shop: this kind of behavior is unacceptable.

04/05/2026: A bad experience with a stretched pizza made with low-quality dough: rubbery, undercooked, and lacking in ingredients. Watch the prices (no receipt, no details, everything justifiably verbal doesn't justify exorbitant prices). Poor management.

24/05/2026: Too much waiting and there was no one in the room, we arrived to take the order, 10 minutes passed, we ordered 2 pinsas, half an hour wait but more

14/04/2026: Last night, only thanks to a phone call we made to confirm, did we discover that the private room we had booked well in advance was no longer available. They gave us no advance notice. We were therefore forced to organize my mother's birthday party at the last minute at another venue, with all the inconvenience that entails. We were told that the room had been assigned to regular customers, demonstrating a total lack of respect for those who book ahead for an important occasion. Unprofessional and extremely rude. A decidedly negative experience.

21/11/2025: I found this place by chance on my way to Soverato. Given the late hour, I ordered an aperitivo. I have to say, everything was excellent. I ate outside due to the high temperatures for the time of year, being November 19, 2025. So if you're looking for a quiet location and want an aperitivo, I think this is the perfect spot.

01/08/2025: Ottimo spaghetto con le vongole, cremoso e saporito. Gli involtini di pesce spada non ci sono piaciuti così come il primo con pesce spada e melanzane. Buona la frittura di calamari. I prezzi a mio parere troppo alti. 4 persone 4 primi e 3 secondi abbiamo pagato 170 euro.

15/02/2026: My girlfriend and I went last night for Valentine's Day. The place is very large and spacious, and can also accommodate special events, but it's very out of the way. The evening was pleasant, but unfortunately I have to give it a low rating for two reasons: 1) The quality of the appetizer: in my opinion, the food was poor and packaged. We have so many local cured meats that going to Calabria and buying packaged items just to save a few euros isn't ideal. I ate it, but I felt sick that night. The pizza was good, but not the best. 2) Service: everything was fine. The staff were very attentive at the beginning and asked me about any intolerances on the pizza I had chosen, right up to the dessert and sparkling wine/Prosecco that were supposed to be served, but weren't served. I promptly reported this to the cashier, who was very kind and wanted to stop us or offer me a drink, which I declined because it was already late and I wanted to go home. The piano bar was very enjoyable, as was the Valentine's Day evening with the singer who, between songs, updated us on the Inter-Juventus match 😂. Overall, the experience wasn't bad, but I recommend reviewing the service and, above all, the quality of the ingredients. Sure, you charge €25 per person for a set menu with certain items, but at least include a decent appetizer that isn't prepackaged (cooked ham, which is the kind you get prepackaged in supermarkets).
