12/02/2025: Ieri sera siamo andati a mangiare una pizza..non è la prima volta che andiamo in questo locale. A parte la pizza che non era come al solito, pomodoro crudo!!2 pizze farcite(yustel,funghi champignon e granella di pistacchio),una bottiglia di acqua e un caffè abbiamo pagato 26 euro...2 euro a coperto ciascuno,1,50 euro ciascuno per un po' di granella di pistacchio e questa non l' avevo mai sentita 1 euro ciascuno perché abbiamo fatto tagliare le pizze...vergognoso!!!naturalmente non ci ritorneremo più..

02/01/2025: Pizza ottima , gustosa , leggera merito del sign. Gianfranco abile pizzaiolo che ha dato un giusto equilibrio a tutti gli ingredienti, davvero ottima!!!! Anche il servizio del personale di sala impeccabile ,il locale molto pulito e ben curato , ben illuminato complimenti !!!!!

13/01/2025: One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. I would recommend it to anyone, tourist or local. The place is very nice, tidy, well furnished and with a wonderful view. It is structured on several levels, between a platform overlooking the sea and a top floor terrace overlooking the sea and all of Scilla. Obviously the menu is almost entirely fish-based and it is all excellent. We ordered a seafood appetizer consisting of 6 different tastings, easily divisible for 2 people. Followed by two first courses: trofie with seafood and paccheri with swordfish with olives and capers. All very good. The staff is very kind and very professional. I recommend booking about a week in advance to have the chance to occupy one of the best tables on the terrace, attached to the railing.

02/11/2024: Overall, pretty disappointing. We waited over 40 minutes for the food to arrive. They clearly had more tables than they could handle. The food itself was not bad, but it was pretty average and the portions were quite small. The salad was especially disappointing, it was literally just a bit of lettuce and they brought a bottle of olive oil to season it with. The restaurant also only had one bathroom for which there was a line the whole time we were there. At the end, they rounded down our cheque from 62 to 60 euros, which was a nice gesture.

01/04/2025: We ordered a salad, two sandwiches, a kebab piadina, some crepes, a beer, a glass of wine and a bottle of water. Total 42 euros. We paid very little for what we ate (and drank), and the sandwiches were good. Everything was fine except that we found moldy chicken in the salad. The staff was very kind and made us replace the dish, apologizing repeatedly. But the mistake is too big to go unnoticed, and that's why I'm leaving a negative review. I am sorry.

04/04/2025: I found myself in those areas by chance and at 2.15pm I called to find out if they made pasta for lunch, they were very hospitable and the food was excellent, speaking with the owner I was able to find out that he also makes excellent pizza for dinner and with many delicious varieties, not the usual pizzas... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

01/12/2024: We should have had pizza. The younger gent was telling us about some whacky ideas he had that sounded great, especially the dessert pizza. He's even won awards. He was very friendly and very chatty. We were probably too early (2pm), felt like they had just opened, and we had pasta carbonara. We both left feeling a bit dissapointed with the pasta. Bread felt cold in the middle as if it had been frozen overnight but that contributed to why we think we came in too early. 26 euro for 2 coke, 2 pasta, proscuitto starter and 4 euro for VA/tax =30 all together. We would come back to try his pizza.

21/01/2025: This small place is a surprise, excellent pizza prepared by professional pizza chefs, light, varied menu including piadinas, burgers and fried foods. Very kind staff.

14/01/2025: UPDATE We returned to this place because we were satisfied with it, unfortunately I don't know if the ownership has changed but it has definitely gotten worse especially in the dishes we ordered, the appetizer was discreet but not at all satisfactory, then we ordered the first courses they were practically cold and from the kitchen to us 'It was a few steps, not kilometers, to give an idea. In the restaurant we were only six people in total. The place was definitely empty, and having the first courses arrive cold means that they were not fresh but certainly reheated. If you are hungry and have no other alternative, don't go there, rather go to bed without dinner, your stomach will thank you. Really sorry because we were happy but we don't like wasting money and eating badly at all. The place is easily accessible, there are no difficulties both in reaching it and also in finding parking. The entrance is a little hidden but a first glance is enough to solve the dilemma. In our opinion, the room inside is well furnished, with attention to detail and very clean, the staff very kind. An improvement tip for the staff, they should inform well the contents of the dishes, how much the fish costs and inform them of its weight, you cannot give vague information and above all the dishes of the day say their cost at least one knows how to regulate what is going to happen at the end of dinner. The dishes we ordered are fantastic and of good quality and their quantity is a little low, they would be right in a city like Milan but you don't come to Calabria to go on a diet, the wine they produce is good for us who are not drinkers We liked it a lot but you shouldn't overdo it otherwise you won't get up from the table again.

02/11/2024: En særs god opplevelse. Litt i utkanten av Palizzi Marina ligger denne delikate vineria/restauranten. Verten står selv for et lekkert og spennende interiør. Han lager sin egen meget gode vin, dyrker sine egne grønnsaker og er en ekte vert og får deg til å føle deg velkommen. På kjøkkenet har han dyktige folk som tryller frem de lekreste retter. Jeg har vært på mange hyggelige og gode spisesteder i Italia, og denne rangerer jeg helt i toppskiktet. Anbefales uten forbehold.

30/03/2025: Dopo quindici giorni.... a mente fredda.... il ricordo dell'onda del mare che si infrangeva alla porta finestra, unitamente valutato alla squisitezza delle pietanze servite ed alla gentilezza di Tonino Polistena ed alla cortesia di Francesco non ci fa pensare ad altro che alla voglia di ritornare.... grazie

28/03/2025: Llegamos al ristorante después de las 8 pm y nos sentamos inmediatamente por Francesco. Después de leer el menú impreso, aprendimos que era ligeramente diferente del menú de su sitio web. Le preguntamos a Francesco si era posible para el chef para preparar para nosotros un plato que no en el menú impreso. ¡Sí fue su respuesta! Nos alegró mucho saber que era posible. Esto era tan importante - no tuvimos que salir y buscar otro ristorante a esa hora en la oscuridad. Además de nuestros excelentes primeros platos, el plato de verduras a la parrilla era el mejor que habíamos comido durante nuestra estancia en Scilla.

12/01/2025: Dopo una bella camminata sul lungomare ed approfittando del meteo stupendo e temperatura molto mite, per bere ci siamo fermati quì. Personale giovane e simpatico e molto veloce nell'esaudire le ordinazioni sia nostre che di ai clienti.

17/04/2025: Poiché le condizioni meteo non consentivano ancora di poter cenare all'aperto, ci siamo accomodati in una sala con luci soffuse e gradevole musica di sottofondo. Dopo aver scelto un tavolo con vista mare, il cibo ci è stato servito con un servizio celere e garbato. Cozze ripiene davvero di ottima qualità e alici ripiene fritte in croccante panatura. Gnocchetti ai frutti di mare al cartoccio e filetto di alalunga su tortino di patate e cipolla di Tropea. Ottimo anche il semifreddo allo zabaione con amaretti e cioccolato fondente. Il tutto accompagnato da un vino venduto ad un giusto prezzo. Tra l'altro, in qualità di clienti dell'albergo abbiamo ricevuto uno sconto del quindici per cento. Insomma buon cibo accompagnato da gentilezza, professionalità in una location da sogno. Giusto rapporto qualità-prezzo.

17/04/2025: Struttura molto bella, ben curata. Camere pulite, la nostra con balconcino vista, anzi sul mare. Molto curata con tutto l'occorrente di buona qualità. Colazione ottima, salato/dolce e dolci fatti in casa. Abbiamo anche prenotato la cena. Personale disponibile e professionale. Cibo ottimo (il filetto di alalunga ottimo, se invece di 2 fossero stati 3 pezzetti sarebbe stato una perla in piu ), con buon rapporto prezzo qualità. Ottima e varia scelta dei vini. Dulcis in fundo sul uno sconto del 15% inaspettato, come ospiti dell'hotel. (non avevo letto che fosse previsto). Ringrazio il personale e i gentili proprietari.
