16/08/2025: We stumbled upon Locanda del Gusto by chance. In short: delicious pizzas, impeccable service, and incredibly reasonable prices (something we haven't seen in a while). Highly recommended.

10/08/2025: One of the best pizzerias in the area. Delicious pizza, very friendly and welcoming staff, and friendly and helpful owners. The place is clean, tidy, and welcoming. We will definitely be back as long as we're in Taurianova.

Different dishes compared to those I see on social media, precisely the ones that intrigued me and encouraged me to absolutely go there but in the end it's the taste that counts and that was there! 19/05/2025: Solo l'antipasto era discreto il primo è stato riciclato dal menù del pranzo della comunione e servito freddo (ho scelto pasta agli scampi), sicuramente lavata e con due scampi sopra la pasta e senza saltata era immangiabile e poi di secondo ho scelto frittura di gamberi e calamari ma solamente calamari serviti, senza gusto e immangiabili. Prezzi aumentanti e non corrispondenti ai prezzi del menù.

24/07/2025: Advice? The guy, it's not his job, is always angry, annoyed, and doesn't even want to ask if you want to eat while you're drinking. When you don't feel like working, your salary is stolen.

14/06/2025: There were two of us. Very suggestive but at the same time accessible environment. Nothing too fancy but what is needed to enjoy both the context (attached to the waves) and the view (Sicily in front). The cuisine was excellent. The one that unfortunately is missing from all these emerging modern fusion piripi parapà places. Simple. As it should be. But tasty. Well presented, linear, and above all in the right times. It had been a while since I had come across a sensory experience like the one discovered in this place.

29/07/2025: The waiter was incredibly slow, so much so that we left at closing time. A pizza with a glass of beer cost €18 per person. The pizza was burnt, and not just mine. There were eight of us, so you can't go wrong with all of them. Anyway, I won't be going to this place again.

29/07/2025: ⸻ Purtroppo un’esperienza deludente. Il servizio è stato estremamente lento, con attese davvero esagerate. La pizza è arrivata con i bordi bruciati, la salsa di pomodoro era cruda e eccessivamente salata. Mi aspettavo molto di più. Sconsiglio vivamente questo locale.

17/08/2025: Unfortunately, my last experience at this place yesterday wasn't as good as previous times. The food was poor, cold, and overpriced. I hope it was just a bad day.

17/08/2025: We visited this restaurant in a large group (over 20 people), and unfortunately, the experience wasn't a positive one. Arriving at 8:30 PM, after more than two hours, we'd only been served appetizers. The waiters, though very courteous, were visibly embarrassed and embarrassed by the situation. When the dishes finally arrived, many were incorrect, both in terms of the dishes and the descriptions. For example, the waiter served a dish describing it as a simple pasta dish with tomato sauce, when in fact it was 'Corte d'Assise', a very spicy local dish. A mistake that could have caused problems if it had been served to a child. The pizzas, however, arrived at 11 PM... and, surprisingly, they were also incorrect! Some diners didn't eat their food in the end, but still paid the cover charge! A real shame, because the place is beautiful and the location spectacular. It had been a regular stop for us during our holidays for years, but this time we were truly disappointed. We hope they can improve the organization, because the potential is there.”

24/07/2025: The restaurant is very centrally located and has very friendly staff. Communication (also in English) was excellent. The food was fantastic; we had a seafood pasta dish that was exactly what we wanted. The service was super friendly and took their time with us. We'd be happy to return! Both the food and the service are highly recommended!

10/08/2025: Brazilian Aperitif: A Pleasant Discovery at "I Cornetti" I had the pleasure of trying the Brazilian aperitif at "I Cornetti" and was extremely satisfied. It was my first time with this type of aperitif, and the experience was excellent, thanks in part to the impeccable service. Much of the credit goes to the very kind and knowledgeable Sara, who guided us through our selection with professionalism and a smile. The aperitif was truly excellent and was a pleasant surprise, demonstrating the quality and originality of the establishment's offerings. To accompany the drink, we were served savory croissants filled with mozzarella and cooked ham, which stood out for their delicateness and freshness. A perfect, light pairing that made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend stopping by "I Cornetti" to try their specialties, and especially their exquisite Brazilian aperitif. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff make every visit a special experience.

19/05/2025: Poor food, service let's not talk about it, in addition to the hair found, on the ad it says 7€ the apericornetto and they make you pay for the cocktail separately and the aperitif separately which is not fair. Paid 15€ more for no reason, too long waiting and the waitress didn't even speak Italian.

21/07/2025: A welcoming restaurant at the entrance to Chianalea with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. Breathtaking views, friendly staff, and excellent food, both in quality and quantity. Prices are in line with other seafood restaurants.

17/07/2025: Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food. The place is very beautiful and well-kept, but it's a shame about the quality of the food. I ordered mixed fried fish and I have to say it was truly disappointing: tiny, tasteless shrimp, greasy, and not very crispy. I definitely expected better, especially considering the place's appeal. A real shame.

03/05/2025: Tuvimos una estancia fantástica en Palazzo Krataiis en la hermosa ciudad de Scilla, una joya costera encantadora que aún no ha sido invadida por el turismo. La playa es preciosa, y hay un montón de pequeños restaurantes para explorar. Nuestra habitación ( 103 ) tenía una vista impresionante al mar, era espaciosa, y tenía una sensación muy auténtica. La ubicación del hotel es perfecta, justo en el centro y a pasos de la playa. El desayuno era delicioso, y también disfrutamos de una gran cena en el restaurante del hotel con excelente comida y un servicio amable. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que busque una estancia relajada y pintoresca en Calabria!
