04/08/2024: The place is beautiful, and that's the only positive note. The service was friendly on the surface, but they pushed you to hastily order the dishes they wanted (which probably bring an excellent margin). Also at one point they almost took our plates without us having finished. The swordfish was not good, quite dry. And for dessert we ordered a pistachio truffle and they brought us something unrecognizable, a little melted ... And 1 minute later, at the next table, a pistachio truffle from Pizzo arrived which was what we were expecting too . We complained but they made us pay anyway.... 45 eur/person without having missed anything in particular (drinks water + 1/4 house wine). Overall a poor experience. They take advantage of the suggestive place to attract tourists and have as many tables as possible, with as wide a margin as possible. I highly recommend moving on or stopping first.

31/08/2024: Partita dalla “lontana” Reggio con la curiosità di assaggiare una pizza di cui avevo sentito parlare, posso dire che ne è valsa assolutamente la pena! Location curata e accogliente, personale cortese e professionale e soprattutto una pizza di qualità eccellente, sia per l’impasto, che per gli ingredienti di primissima scelta! Che dire …. Top!! Sicuramente un’esperienza da replicare al più presto!

29/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato in famiglia nel bellissimo giardino di fronte il locale, per una cena in totale relax. Pizze buonissime e curate in ogni dettaglio, prodotti freschi e di qualità. Servizio gentile e attento! È stata veramente una bellissima serata. Consiglio veramente a tutti.

17/08/2024: I have been going to Solaria for many years, as soon as I manage to return to Brancaleone. I have always found friendly and attentive people as well as excellent food both for fish dishes, pizzas and the ice cream shop. I would like to thank the owner and all the staff who yesterday (16 August) worked hard to please me and my family who had had the evening ruined by the lack of attention of other restaurateurs who should go to Solaria's school of good manners ! Thanks so much!

16/08/2024: I brought friends and guests from the north here for a brioche with ice cream, happy memories of last year. For the first time in Calabria you have made me forget a myth, I had never seen ice cream counted with scoops and paltry quantities compared to brioche. Good quality but in terms of "portion" we are not in Calabria here.. please go back to the scoop and make decent quantities so we are not there..

24/07/2024: A great place to eat typical Calabrian and Italian fast food. All delicious, a true Italian corner near the city center, near the Archaeological Museum and the Riace Bronzes. Excellent service, thanks to the owner. Affordable prices, pleasant atmosphere. La Trattoria participates in the Too Good to go program. I recommend!

06/07/2024: Below, Italians rate pizza, I haven't eaten pizza here. However, I ate pasta (three types): swordfish, octopus, and scallops. Everything was very good, perfectly seasoned. A culinary feast!!! There is a very friendly atmosphere in the place. I recommend.

23/08/2024: Cibo di ottima qualità e appetitoso, personale cortese e disponibile, (specialmente Cristofer) prezzi giusti . Sono 5 anni che ad agosto ci torniamo.

19/07/2024: Da Rocco è il Ristorante dove è stata inventata la famosa Pasta alla Corte d'Assise. Nonostante questa eccellenza il locale è piuttosto datato e con un'offerta di piatti più che tradizionali. Abbiamo mangiato un'ottima insalata di Polpo e Seppie, ma, purtroppo, la grigliata mista di carne era quasi immangiabile perchè era troppo secca (sembrava un avanzo riscaldato). La simpatia del titolare e i prezzi più che accettabili non sono sufficienti per promuovere il locale che meriterebbe molto di più.

13/08/2024: Hi, I went today with my father and his friend. This bar is located on a very busy street, my father and his friend had a coffee, and I had nothing, just a bottle of water. Compliments to the staff, very kind, courteous, attentive and always prepared, and very fast service. I'll be back.

11/07/2024: If I could give zero stars, I would. I personally went to the venue to discuss the possibility of booking the swimming pool for my graduation celebrations. They initially told me that there was uncertainty due to another event already booked for the same date, but they didn't know if it would actually take place. After a couple of days I asked for clarification to be able to organize myself properly and I was assured that that event had been cancelled, so I could easily celebrate my graduation there. Based on this confirmation, I printed and delivered the invitations to friends and family. Imagine my surprise and frustration when they called me again, a few days before the event, to tell me that in fact the venue was not available because they had "misunderstood" and the event had not actually been cancelled. I later discovered that the real reason for the cancellation was linked to the fact that another member of the club had made another booking and, having to choose between the two events, they decided to cancel mine. Zero professionalism, zero reliability, and a lot of incompetence of the girl who manages these things. This venue is unable to deliver on its promises and has caused huge problems and stress at the most important time of my life. If you care about your events and don't want to risk being disappointed at the last moment, avoid this place at all costs.
