29/08/2025: Far from the more commercial coastal towns, this is the perfect location for tranquility, service, and good food. A late-August dinner for two with 2 perfect Spaghetti alla Tarantina and 1 excellent and plentiful mixed grill of seafood. Along with a "de la Mason" rosé and water, it's a very reasonable €50. Don't be fooled by the sign, which says "Pizzeria Ristorante," because pizza service is suspended. Even though I wasn't the least bit interested in pizza, the staff is the first thing they tell you as soon as you sit down, so you still have a choice.

24/08/2025: Sea view, always fresh fish, a simple place where you feel right at home. We always make reservations for lunch in August. Friendly and very helpful staff. Everything excellent!

05/02/2026: We were here in February because, according to the owner, the campsite is open year-round. However, the showers had no hot water, and the campsite itself was more like a construction site. I understand that renovations are necessary, but then they have to close during that time. Charging full price for that seems unreasonable.

03/08/2025: We stayed at Villa Brazzano and were absolutely thrilled! The property is stunning, meticulously maintained, and surrounded by lush greenery, perfect for relaxing in touch with nature. The breakfast is excellent, with fresh fruit and a good variety of products to suit all tastes. The staff was always kind, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel right at home. A charming place that we highly recommend.

22/06/2025: A fantastic weekend, with such friendliness and excellent service. We'll be back because we were treated so professionally. A place surrounded by greenery and so cool that we could relax without any worries, thanks to Villa Brazzano.

14/12/2025: As soon as we entered, the place was truly warm and welcoming, with meticulous attention to detail. We ordered the rotisserie first. I recommend the potato croquettes, which are truly authentic, but the whole rotisserie is delicious. Then I ordered the pizza. It's excellent dough, cooked in a wood-fired oven, perfectly cooked, but the special thing is the combination of authentic ingredients. Then there's the sorbet and a nice bitter. They also offer craft beer. The staff is friendly, polite, and top-notch professional. I highly recommend it, a truly welcoming place.

05/12/2025: Terrible service. I asked for a smash lust without onion or mayo, plus fries inside the sandwich. It arrived without onion, fries, and mayo... Not to mention the two girls serving, who were completely unfit to serve... I won't be going back.

30/08/2025: We sat down in the square in August at 8:45 PM, 11 of us. Orders were taken piecemeal and served haphazardly: first food without drinks, then half-finished drinks, and finally—when everyone had already finished—our celiac friend's gluten-free pizza, which he ate alone. Bread never arrived, drinks forgotten, pizzas from those who hadn't eaten never seen, despite numerous promises of preferential passage of our order (perhaps for the next day). The menu stated that a platter was "minimum for two people" at €32, but the staff's explanation was a puzzle: when we said there were eight of us, we were told that four platters was not enough; when we ordered five, we discovered that the platters were actually charged "per person" and not "per couple." In fact, the "platter for eight" had five pieces of each, so three people were left to watch. The menu was poorly written, and the order management was even worse. One of us, after being told several times that the pizza we'd chosen from the menu wasn't available, had to impatiently ask them to decide which pizza was available. The service was surreal: a single waiter (presumably the owner) would take the orders, leave them unfinished, and disappear for long minutes, while the others watched. When we complained, the owner never admitted a mistake: he told us that "you must have misunderstood, or I misunderstood," and urged us to stay calm "because I even gave you a front-row table to watch the concert," all with a joke that was more than out of place. Final justification? "It's chaotic in August, and it's a special night." With the square full but only 50 people in the dining room, it's pure incompetence; the chaos wasn't in his restaurant: if you don't know how to manage, you reduce the seating. In the end, we paid €20 each, including those who didn't eat. Disorganized, slow, arrogant, and even ironic about complaints: a disaster to be avoided!

14/08/2025: We ordered two pizzas, a Margherita and a Diavola with 'nduja, and were pleasantly surprised by their melt-in-your-mouth crust! The owner was incredibly kind and friendly, and we even met the pizza chef and congratulated him in person. This will definitely be our go-to pizzeria for our next trips to Palmi! 03/09/2025: Five stars for the lido for the kindness of the staff and the well-spaced umbrellas. Three stars for the bar, which is poorly stocked and doesn't offer fast food or takeaway options for a quick lunch. As for the food, I wouldn't give it more than two stars. I only appreciate the kindness of the staff and the speed of service, but I wasn't thrilled with the food. The bill was even less so, because in my opinion the prices aren't commensurate with the quality offered.

28/12/2025: I was there hours ago, poor service, staff (it was just one girl) a bit incompetent. The bathroom was in the kitchen🫣 the pizza arrived raw, we asked if they could push the tables together since we were a group of people and we were told they couldn't. Hygiene 0 the bathroom was in the kitchen and it was dirty, I didn't take photos. High prices for what you get, I don't recommend it.

01/11/2025: I've been to La Coccinella pizzeria, and my overall experience was decent. The staff is friendly and quick, and the place is well-maintained and welcoming. The pizza, however, only partially convinced me: the Margherita wasn't great, unfortunately, but the sweet potato and sausage was truly excellent! The location is convenient and easy to get to. Overall, I recommend it for a quiet evening, but I think you can find better options in the area.

02/09/2025: Very nice pub and super good meat! Service was a little slow, even though it wasn't very crowded, but it was worth the wait. I was happy with the food, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend it! :)

23/08/2025: Excellent place for a hearty and tasty aperitivo. We ordered a platter of local cured meats and cheeses and several Tex-Mex dishes to share: tacos, chili con carne, nachos with guancamole and pico de gallo, and then succulent Calabrian eggplant meatballs with mint, beef braciole, and perfectly fried rice croquettes. A taste of local caponata, just like my grandmother used to make (superb!). All washed down with a good Negroni and a citrusy non-alcoholic drink. I almost forgot about the dessert: crema catalana 🔝 Excellent value. I recommend it and will definitely be back!
