The cuisine focuses on traditional flavors prepared well: generous dishes, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere immediately puts you at ease. A reliable restaurant for a pleasant, no-frills dinner.
23/09/2025: This review does not concern the restaurant itself, but exclusively the owner's behavior in an external professional context, related to the automotive industry.
Before the service was provided, a contract was signed between the parties, clearly stating the agreed-upon costs for the car rental investigation.
On May 27, 2025, I issued the relevant invoice for €1,068.90 (including VAT), due June 3, 2025. Despite repeated reminders, payment was never made, and since then I have only received delays and delays.
This unscrupulous behavior is something I believe should be publicly highlighted.

04/01/2026: Historic restaurant in Torre di Ruggiero near the Sanctuary. Homemade cuisine and excellent pizzeria. Also suitable for birthday parties, First Communions, and Confirmations. Recommended.
14/09/2025: Unprofessional staff, tasteless food, and biblical waiting times. One thing I'm sure of: I'll never go there again, and I strongly advise against it.

20/08/2025: Every summer, I stop by this place to try something. This year, I was unpleasantly surprised by the decline in product quality, portion size, and the exorbitant price increase.
The pizza slices pictured cost around €9 and weren't even worth a single pizza. We then ordered arancini (dry, presumably frozen) and a stuffed calzone (which was all bread).
I'm truly sorry.

16/11/2025: Delicious and authentic Italian food. The tagliatelle with porcini were incredible! Antipasti plate also really good - we truly enjoyed everything. Signora Ewa is extremely sweet, kind and a fantastic chef. Thank you for such a wonderful meal 💜

06/09/2025: We had two mixed seafood appetizers, and the experience wasn't the best. "Frittino" with microscopic baby octopus, basically just batter, anchovies and salmon marinated in vinegar, and swordfish shell without swordfish, just shoddy breading. The plating and presentation were very '90s. To top it all off, the prices and cover charge were exorbitant and out of place. The only redeeming feature was the location, right on the beach. An experience not to be repeated.

06/11/2025: 'Over the top' is the right word (but in a good way). Delicious sandwiches, generously filled with authentic and tasty ingredients, at a more than fair price. The staff was super friendly (they waited on us even though it was closing). Highly recommended, definitely worth a try!

16/09/2025: I've been from Catanzaro since I was born, and
since I love the sea so much, I should know every place, but I assure you, that's not the case 🤣🤣🤣.
I discovered this place purely by chance, and among the many beaches lined up, my "snack buddy" Nilde asked me which one inspires you? And I replied: "This one, definitely this one, because it has these elegant umbrellas, this tidy beach, and then I don't know, but this spot inspires me 🤣🤣." And so it was, 9 days of pure relaxation, thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend it, also for the kindness of Maria, her sister, and everyone else who helped make these days of vacation truly unforgettable.

07/09/2025: Very beautiful beach, well-maintained lido, excellent restaurant. Everyone is very kind and friendly, except for the guy (maybe the son?) who accompanies you to your umbrella. Prices are medium to high, but from my experience, it seems like even in Calabria they're overdoing it, thus hindering tourism growth.

12/10/2025: This is my second time here... the first time by chance, and the second time by choice. The rooms are comfortable and definitely clean and well-maintained, and the staff is fantastic. The food is excellent home cooking... I love watching people work... And in this group, I've seen family, passion, and good taste. The food is truly excellent. I'm not giving it 5 stars just to encourage the owners to slightly modernize the accommodations, which I already find to be more than satisfactory. Special praise to all the staff and the food... Home on a plate... Congratulations!

Spacious umbrellas with all the amenities.
The beach has showers and bathrooms.
The restaurant is a bit basic, but offers sufficient food.
The breakfasts, with hot, fresh croissants, are a very positive note.
Overall, a good beach.
