11/03/2026: I'm giving it a 5 not because it has one or more Michelin stars, but simply because it's a simple place that serves simple, hearty dishes. The price is very respectable.

20/12/2025: We dined at this restaurant for lunch at a table of 13. The place is very simple and unpretentious (the curtains were visibly stained with sauce). The price was €30 per person, which I consider expensive for what they offered, but for me (a celiac diner) it was a complete rip-off. ​Despite their willingness to accommodate gluten-free options, the service was disappointing: ​- Delays: the gluten-free first course was forgotten, so it arrived after the other diners had already finished; ​- Shortcomings: As for the side dish, I had requested a fennel salad (proposed by the owner), which never arrived, and since I couldn't eat the fries served at the center of the table because they contained gluten, I didn't get it; ​- No dessert: when it came to the sorbet, they said it wasn't suitable because it contained gluten, and no alternative was served, leaving me without the last course. Coffee served at the counter in a plastic cup. The appetizer was good, and the flavor of the mushrooms used in the risotto was pleasant, but it wasn't enough to make up for the rest. I think the owner, given what happened, should have shown me a little more consideration, perhaps even apologized personally and offered a discount as a courtesy.

20/02/2026: We ordered four pizzas and had to wait an hour or more for them. When we finally ate them, they were delicious, but unfortunately cold. It wasn't busy, and after waiting over an hour, we received cold pizzas. Such a shame.

15/05/2025: Incredible!!! We've enjoyed an excellent aperitivo here twice now. The reasonable price doesn't reflect the outstanding quality of the authentic food. The ambiance and the very friendly staff made the evening a highlight. Thank you!

11/05/2025: This restaurant is not worth visiting. Food is overpriced and simply not good (served on plastic (!) plates )- same goes for the service - waiters are buzzing around you constantly, talking on their walkie-talkies like they are in a swat team (mind that at the time only 3 tables were taken) making it impossible to enjoy the meal (not that there is much to enjoy). Stay away for your own good.

07/11/2025: My go-to restaurant. Rustic and well-maintained atmosphere. Huge parking lot. Very kind and always helpful staff. Super generous appetizers and first courses. The meat is top notch. I now frequent this restaurant both summer and winter. Always the same quality (and excellent quantity). Not recommended for those on various diets!! Well done, keep it up...

25/09/2025: From the SS 18 state road, climb a few kilometers towards Vrasi. The hillside restaurant enjoys mild temperatures even on the hottest evenings, making you hate to go down to the beach. Ample parking is available in the courtyard below. The restaurant is clean, with meticulous attention to detail, and the kitchen offers traditional dishes, all meat-based, generous, and reasonably priced. For us, the house appetizers included 1 fusilli with goat sauce, 1 lamb ribs, 3 mixed grills, and 1 sliced ​​beef steak, still steaming hot, served on a soapstone platter, 3 side dishes, and a carafe of red wine. The flavors are there; price is €20 per person. Coffee and Amaro Silano are on the house. Book in advance, it's always in high demand; it's hard to find better in the area. 29/05/2025: Very friendly staff and excellent food, too bad I live in Tuscany and can't come more often. An exceptional variety of pasta and very large portions. Second courses and desserts no less. The Sicilian cannoli impressed me. In the photo you will find tagliolini al limone with clams, mussels and cherry tomatoes, a fried cod and the Sicilian cannoli.

24/02/2026: It was a challenge to find a restaurant open for dinner during the week in February in Scilla. We weren't expecting much, considering it's not the peak season, but we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was very unique, elegant, with background music and extremely friendly staff who offered us two glasses of prosecco and an aperitif while we waited for our dishes. I highly recommend it.

22/02/2026: A quaint setting. We ordered two spaghetti dishes that looked like clams, but were actually a garlic and oil dish for €22—and I repeat, €22 per dish. Two fried calamari dishes arrived dark and bitter, and the fryer oil absolutely needed replacing, for €15 per portion. I have to say, it was one of the worst lunches I've ever had.

07/12/2025: I was there with my family, unfortunately it was all negative. We had 3 grilled fish and a mixed fried fish, the grilled fish was burnt and the fried fish was soft and greasy, the hot house white wine was served in a carafe placed inside the ice bucket and to finish it off, lemon sorbet made up of 3 scoops of ice cream with a little vodka, all this with a truly excessive price both for the place that needs renovating and for the quality of food and service.

02/11/2025: We went on a pizza tour because we were a very large group. They handled the situation well, without long waits. The pizza was good, as were the fries. There's a small outdoor area for the kids to play in.

24/08/2025: A lovely beach. Equipped with restrooms, outdoor showers, and a bar area with nice shaded tables. It's not very large, which makes it quiet, especially since it's not surrounded by other beach resorts; there are only free beaches nearby. There's plenty of parking along the road that runs along the seafront, so you don't have to go far to find one. Since the umbrellas and lounge chairs are secondhand (which is a great thing!), renting an umbrella with two lounge chairs is only €7.50! Highly recommended for a comfortable but super-quiet day at the beach.

23/08/2025: Good food, modest portions, 1970s-style terracotta terrace, ample parking. The end... Besides: The ordering process is a bit cumbersome. If you're sitting at a table and have quickly decided what to eat because you have to leave, you still have to wait for all the tables of 20 people who sat before you to complete their orders. A nice location for receptions and children's entertainment, well-known among locals, but I wouldn't exactly call it "on the sea," but more accurately "with a view of the beach and sea." Prices are average, the pizza is cheap, but overall, it's not in line with the competition and the area. Mentioning Heinz Beck on the menu is decidedly misleading and leaves one "astonished," to say the least. Disappointed by the wait. Not worth the trip or the stop. Everyone else can easily go and sit at the bar while waiting.

30/08/2025: The staff was very kind and helpful: they even took our phone number to let us know as soon as a table became available, a thoughtful touch that was certainly appreciated. Prices are reasonable and not excessive. The staff's commitment is evident, but the service could be improved: almost an hour passed between the first and last course, which somewhat detracted from the overall experience. The fried food was excellent, light and well-made, while the sandwiches could use a bit of a makeover to be more appealing. The location is convenient and easy to get to; with a few more improvements, the place could really take a step up in quality.
