27/08/2025: Amazing place. Excellent welcome. Food well plated and very good.

23/08/2025: Good food, modest portions, 1970s-style terracotta terrace, ample parking. The end... Besides: The ordering process is a bit cumbersome. If you're sitting at a table and have quickly decided what to eat because you have to leave, you still have to wait for all the tables of 20 people who sat before you to complete their orders. A nice location for receptions and children's entertainment, well-known among locals, but I wouldn't exactly call it "on the sea," but more accurately "with a view of the beach and sea." Prices are average, the pizza is cheap, but overall, it's not in line with the competition and the area. Mentioning Heinz Beck on the menu is decidedly misleading and leaves one "astonished," to say the least. Disappointed by the wait. Not worth the trip or the stop. Everyone else can easily go and sit at the bar while waiting.

06/10/2025: I arrived too early however, the staff were very accomondating and allowed me to stay and for awhile I had the whole resaurant to myself. I was sat in the cave like area which was very atmospheric, clean and the decor was suitable with the music helping with the whole experience. The staff were wearing smiling faces and looked happy to be of service! I orded a carafe of house wine which was very welcoming after the soaking I got finding my AirBnB. The choice of meal was a hot one after travelling from Lamezia airort eating cold foods from bars, so I decided on the Mixed meat grill with a salad all cooked fresh apart from the salad lol. The local lemon cheescake was the best ever I have tasted in all my 72 years on the planet, drunk down with a local limoncello perfectto.

03/10/2025: The location is beautiful, but what about the appetizers? We had a seafood appetizer, which wasn't very generous, and a house appetizer with a slice of each cured meat and some vegetables. Both were out of proportion for the price.

23/10/2025: Small but clean and well-stocked. Both the almond pastries and the mini pastries are excellent. It's a shame it's so far away that you can't use them more often. Highly recommended!

21/05/2026: An unforgettable evening by the sea for a birthday. We ate well, sang karaoke, and had an aperitif outside with the sound of the waves and the cool evening breeze. The atmosphere was fun and light-hearted.

21/04/2026: Excellent bar with reasonable prices (compared to Tropea, where they'll ruin your experience! And it's not worth it!) We went with friends (10 people) and paid €45! I really recommend the artisanal granita! And the brioche is wonderful! Excellent crepes! The truffles are second to none at Callipo in Pizzo Calabro 🔝

10/05/2026: Feels like home. Warm and friendly welcome. Exquisite food with traditional dishes, including crispy cruschi peppers and freshly fried potatoes! Rustic and truly quaint atmosphere. Recommended!

20/07/2025: Excellent hotel, exceptional staff, especially Mr. Fabio, who seriously recommended places to eat excellent fish... top restaurants... not like others... the only flaw being a 4-star hotel on the sea there is no common or personal area where you can hang out wet costumes and towels... good breakfast but not always for everything, especially for those like me who got off around 9:20... inside there is a very nice permanent exhibition for those who like pop art... I think I will return next year, spacious, clean room, comfortable bathroom and even Sky in every room... very comfortable bed... parking... mini bar and safe included

05/04/2026: Fabulous venue and sublime food. I went there today for Easter lunch, and despite the large number of tables, all courses were served promptly. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Andrea, the waiter who served our table, fulfilled all our requests and accompanied our meal with a smile, professionalism, and friendliness. The dishes we ate were each more delicious than the last and very refined. I highly recommend it for important events, but also for simply spending a family day with a fabulous view, just as the restaurant's name suggests.

05/04/2026: Great place, we came for Easter Sunday! The food was really good and the service was impeccable, especially the waiter who took care of our table, Andrea, who was really friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it!

09/06/2026: I urge everyone to avoid establishments that show support for an aggressor state. While looking for a restaurant with a nice view, I found Lido Sara - Ristorante Il Capriccio on Google Maps. However, looking at the photos and the location, I noticed the Russian flag. I find it surprising to see a restaurant in Italy displaying not the Italian flag, but the flag of a country that is waging a war of aggression against Ukraine and continues to cause civilian suffering and casualties. For this reason, I have decided not to visit this restaurant. Many people these days choose where to eat not only based on the cuisine or the view, but also on the values ​​a business stands for. Unfortunately, with such choices, the restaurant loses potential customers.

08/04/2026: The cod morzello was truly excellent, flavorful, and carefully cooked. Also not to be missed are the classic pipi e patate, expertly prepared according to tradition. But the real surprise is the gluten-free arancini: divine! Large, tasty, and made with high-quality ingredients. The frying is impeccable: dry and not at all greasy. A rare and precious attention to gluten-free. Highly recommended!
