30/12/2025: I gave full stars for the food, service, and ambiance, but overall I have to give it three stars, and I'll explain why. Here, you can certainly enjoy perhaps the best morzello in the city. The kindness of the staff is a strong point, and the ambiance is also distinctive—an authentic 1980s-style morzelleria. It's hard to beat. However, I do have one point, which I hope is constructive. At the entrance, a sign clearly states that dogs are not allowed, which is a good thing considering it's a place where food and drinks are served. However, dogs are welcome to enter, accompanied by their owners, and can sit at the table with them. I saw one in particular enter the kitchen several times with its owner. Besides hygiene, the quiet is also compromised, as the dogs bark inside the restaurant. Not everyone enjoys eating with animals, and such a popular place where food is served should pay more attention to small hygiene practices.

27/12/2025: I went on a super busy day and they were fast, efficient and kind and in any case if they had been imperfect in something they would have been excused by the day but they managed to handle everything perfectly.

24/08/2025: A lovely beach. Equipped with restrooms, outdoor showers, and a bar area with nice shaded tables. It's not very large, which makes it quiet, especially since it's not surrounded by other beach resorts; there are only free beaches nearby. There's plenty of parking along the road that runs along the seafront, so you don't have to go far to find one. Since the umbrellas and lounge chairs are secondhand (which is a great thing!), renting an umbrella with two lounge chairs is only €7.50! Highly recommended for a comfortable but super-quiet day at the beach.

15/06/2026: One of those places you go to but never want to return to. Every second first course was disappointing, the appetizers nonexistent, the house wine was practically water, and the bread was inedible. On top of all this, it's also quite expensive. I wouldn't recommend it. A tip for the owners: that sign at the cash register that says "pay for what you eat and don't ask for a discount" is the icing on the cake.

10/05/2026: A good restaurant with high-quality food. Excellent table space. Excellent meat cooking and first courses with excellent local flavors. Perhaps the portion size could be improved. Excellent children's play area.

30/04/2026: Ristorante Pizzeria Barone is a wonderful place that offers a perfect mix of authentic Italian flavors and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The pizzas are delicious with a beautifully baked crust and fresh toppings, while the rest of the menu is equally satisfying and well-prepared. The service is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. It’s a great spot for both casual meals and family gatherings. Highly recommended for anyone who loves quality Italian cuisine!

18/01/2026: I'm sharing this experience after the 2nd or 3rd time I've tried the restaurant... seated at 8:30 PM (4 people), we received our pizza at 10:15 PM. The menu was delivered after a half-hour wait, and after ordering a mixed fried pizza, we had an interminable wait for the pizza. This all seems to repeat itself time after time, and when we ask the waiter, after waiting over an hour, we're told, "You'll have to wait longer for the pizzas." Finally, the pizza arrived, one of which was wrong and another was raw.

02/05/2026: Terrible experience with this pizzeria in Praia a Mare. We had arranged a reservation over the phone for 8:00 PM, and upon our arrival, the reservations manager (an extremely rude and impolite person) told us the reservation was for 7:30 PM (even though two of us were sure of the time) and to go eat somewhere else! I'm speechless! You should be closed down.

12/04/2026: Centrally located in Praia a Mare, with ample parking. The restaurant is on the ground floor, with indoor and outdoor dining areas. Excellent service, with courteous and attentive waiters who are attentive to customer needs. On Easter Monday, I had lunch with my family and enjoyed excellent dishes: spaghetti alla chitarra with octopus Luciana-style, gnocchi with cruschi peppers, mixed grill, montanarine, and Pizzo Calabro truffle with figs. Excellent value, I highly recommend it.
