14/07/2025: We discovered this pizzeria by chance. It was a lovely experience; we ate on a veranda overlooking the sea. The pizza was really good, light. The guy who served us was really kind and happy to satisfy our craving for fries. The fries were also excellent, light and crispy. Thank you.

10/07/2025: Between golden pizzas and heartfelt fried foods. The flavor is sincere, the quality is palpable, every bite truly warms people. Crispy delights, perfect flavors, in that place with perfect rhythms. But, between an arancini and a steaming slice, something was constantly missing… It wasn't the food, because that's enchanting, but Gabriele, the smile that was so important. Courteous, present, never out of place, he made every meal almost a real treat. Now that he's gone, something is different, like a missing line in the middle of a line. Sesto Senso, you're still a beautiful place… but without Gabriele… I'm left with a pang of regret.

The ingredients are high-quality, the chef's preparation is excellent, and the dishes are very tasty and delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive. I recommend it. It has great potential.

15/06/2025: We wanted a quick bite to eat for lunch and decided on this lovely restaurant. It's recently been under new management, and the young staff gave us a very warm welcome. We chose a table outside and discovered that this veranda has only been available since the reopening. It feels very comfortable. Unfortunately, we forgot to take a photo of the food because we were so hungry, and the delicious and fresh food was gone very quickly. Highly recommended, especially because the food is so good.

04/05/2025: Zeker één van de beste restaurants in Scalea. Gelegen op een sfeervol pleintje in het oude centrum. Beperkte menukaart maar meestal staat dit borg voor verse en kwaliteitsvolle producten én dat bleek ook zo te zijn. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Een topervaring.

26/04/2025: Posto finora perfetto stasera tanta delusione. 2 paccheri all astice 70€ ove in questi non c era nessun connubio. Non è una questione economica ma solamente pura mancanza di combinazione culinaria/soporifera. Non so se tornerò x dare un ulteriore chance. Saluti e buona vita

05/08/2025: Il posto è già spettacolare di per sé perché si trova affacciato alla spiaggia di fianco l’inizio della scogliera di Capo Vaticano da sud. Servizio impeccabile, puntualità e scelta, grigliata di pesce spettacolare così come anche i primi. La frittura in tutta onestà era un po’ dura e non la riprenderei, ma per il resto è un ambiente cordiale e allegro merita una visita. Da provare la pizza.

There were 10 of us I have to say that because of the recent negative reviews we were quite prejudiced. As soon as we entered the place had an unpleasant smell of grease that left us even more doubtful Also because of the negative reviews we decided on the pizza. Draft beer... Rather long. I asked for a side dish... The menu was all summed up as grilled vegetables or baked potatoes. Because the rest was not available because it is not in season... Maybe write it down... Anyway, the pizza was mediocre and reminded a bit of frozen pizzas. The dough was a bit dry. The flavor was still quite good. Spiced baked potatoes That really had very little of the oven. Strange, very brown. They seemed more like they were made in the air fryer. 06/07/2025: A beautiful welcoming family run restaurant serving delicious fresh traditional fare. We ate ante pasta & lightly marinated salmon for starters and goat pasta and chickpea pasta for mains. All made using local ingredients. Thank you to Luca and his family for making us feel so welcome

14/07/2025: Then I think it's a culinary experience that leaves a lasting impression! This seafood restaurant is a true gem: the fish is incredibly fresh, cooked with care and respect for the ingredients, and you can taste it in every bite. I started with a truly rich tasting appetizer, a selection of cold, hot, and au gratin dishes that won me over from the first bite. Next, I had a fabulous mixed grill: plentiful, well-cooked, and flavorful... simply perfect! (I'm attaching a few photos; I don't have them all.) Authentic and well-balanced flavors. Kudos also to the knowledgeable and friendly waiter, who was able to recommend the best of the day's specials. Thanks to him, we tried dishes we might not have chosen on our own... and thank goodness for that! But I think the true soul of the place is the owner, a wonderful young woman: cheerful, kind, welcoming, and helpful. She makes you feel immediately at home with her warmth and infectious smile. Always attentive, present but never intrusive, she truly has that human touch that makes the difference. A down-to-earth girl who loves her job and shows it in everything she does. We'll definitely be back!! And not just for the fish! 🐟💙 (They also have pizza, which looked really inviting, so I can't wait to go back and try that too.) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

06/08/2025: Last night I had dinner in this bar restaurant, at first everything was very inviting, the location expectations about the food were clearly inflated, reluctantly being Roman and reading that on the menu they had typical Roman dishes not that sacred we decided to try them a carbonara and an amatriciana both served very late even if we were the only ones to consume in the establishment and waiting a long time compared to the rest of the courses, the first the carbonara American style with shameful cream rich in salt with overcooked pasta and the amatriciana served with tomato and basil, sending it back instead of removing it from the bill and apologizing both for not having informed of the variation from the usual thousand-year-old recipe we were charged anyway really speechless, I advised the establishment to write for each individual dish the components of the ingredients both for the risk of allergies and for fairness towards a customer who is used to eating products that have a name and expects at least in Italy to find them as such.. it's really true that not all that glitters is gold wasted and poorly managed activity TOTAL VADEVECUM !

28/07/2025: Five stars aren't enough: after a spectacular meat-based dinner and after tasting a few cocktails unlike my usual ones, I can say that this place stands out for excellence, in every respect!
