06/10/2024: Il locale è molto curato, il proprietario gentilissimo e disponibile. Dopo l'antipasto avremmo potuto non prendere altro ma volevamo assaggiare il resto, i fatto l'amaro e il caffè che ci è stato offerto non abbiamo potuto accettarlo. Ambiente di nostro gradimento e con molto piacere abbiamo chiacchierato anche con persone del posto che erano lì a pranzare come noi, la cosa ci ha fatto molto piacere, ci hanno dato dei consigli per il viaggio di ritorno. Ci tornerei più che volentieri.

The selection of cured meats and cheeses is extraordinary, with specialties that cannot be found in the area and obsessive care in the choice of raw materials. There is a tasting room, a welcoming and refined environment, perfect for a different aperitif than usual. Special regards also to the owner, a very kind and well-prepared person, always ready to recommend the best combinations and to share curiosities about the products. His passion is contagious and makes the experience even more special. If you are looking for a place where quality comes first, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended! 🫶🏻

08/03/2025: In this restaurant they don't make us feel like customers, but simply friends to spend some time together, the food is excellent, service is standard, prices are very accessible, the pizza has a very particular and digestible taste also because the dough is made 72 hours beforehand, don't go by, stop and enjoy the restaurant menu too.

06/03/2025: I had booked a table for 2 with the fork and the reservation had been accepted. 30 minutes before the scheduled time I received the notification of the cancellation of the reservation. That's not correct, not half an hour earlier. I tried calling the number but there was no answer. If a person organizes themselves in one way and in the end receives treatment like this I don't find it correct. I'm sorry but that's not how it's done. In this way I was forced to act differently with the little time available (it was already 9/3pm at the time of the notification). And it wasn't even possible to speak on the phone to understand the reasons for the cancellation. I really don't know what to say

Cibo ottimo e abbondante, i nostri ospiti sono andati via con il sorriso sul volto. Ottima la gestione generale da parte del Maitre. 08/08/2024: Spectacular place, among the rocks, mainly grassy outdoor paving, stone buildings with wooden beam ceilings, beautiful large fireplace. Perhaps the only flaw is having only one bathroom for guests

04/04/2025: Tragic-comic experience never seen something like this. 40 minutes to give us a menu, I got the high chair myself. We entered at 8.30pm and at 10.30pm we still hadn't eaten anything, even though there were only 6-7 other tables besides us and even though we had simply ordered two first courses (the same for both). We got up and went downtown to have dinner with an ice cream given the time. The most absurd thing was the attitude of the waitress, almost annoyed by our simply asking how long we still had to wait after "only" two hours sitting at the table: a simple "sorry, we're having trouble in the kitchen" would have been enough instead of an annoyed "we'll have to wait". Prices are also high given the location and the very modest location: 15 euros for all the first courses on the menu seemed excessive to me. We probably weren't welcome because we weren't local or because we didn't have their set menu. ADD TO THE MANAGER'S DELICIOUS RESPONSE: all lies that you wrote probably to defend the scandalous service you offer in your restaurant, use your imagination. I came to your restaurant on June 28th in the evening at 8.30pm. 6-7 tables including us, no hello or anything, you were only shown the table, menu and high chair taken by us after we asked twice. It didn't cost me anything to do it, but something like this has never happened to me in any restaurant. We didn't ask anyone to move ahead, which incidentally happened in reverse since people who arrived after us were served first. Simply after two hours of waiting for two first courses, the rule that in any restaurant on the face of the earth they escape in an hour to stay very wide, we left exasperated. Oh speaking of escaping, all the accounts done by hand on little sheets of graph paper, receipts like our first ones: not even a shadow. Look at my reviews over the years: they are very few and all positive. If you are the only one on the face of the earth who managed to make me feel badly treated in your place I would ask myself two questions. And I see that between here and TripAdvisor many have complained about various things. don't worry, luckily we have tried many other restaurants in the area where we enjoyed our stay so if we ever return to Tropea our existence will not be further affected by your restaurant As they say time to time... Stunning figure in nightmare kitchens. The problem is probably us, the customers.
