06/01/2025: We came here for an evening with dance music, which included a fixed menu (starter, first course and dessert). We were served an appetizer of cured meats, bruschetta, grilled vegetables, mozzarella and stuffed pepper, good, but average. In the first course, pasta all'amatriciana, you couldn't taste the bacon at all and the sauce was of medium quality. The dessert, a warm chocolate cake, was quite good. Overall it was a nice evening, with pleasant music and friendly staff; the food was average, but I reserve the right to evaluate the place on another occasion, perhaps without fixed menus or organized events.

08/09/2024: Local located in the historic center of the town of Bella. Gulliver is a very nice sandwich shop, with customers of all ages. The menu is quite varied, relying mainly on sandwiches and the like. The service was attentive and quite fast, considering that the place was full. A good alternative to the usual Saturday night pizza.

15/03/2025: we came for lunch, unfortunately (and here it's my boyfriend's fault) I decided to let him make the reservation in the hope that he would read the reviews and the menu, given that we traveled 500 km to come and eat typical dishes, but I confirm here that it was his fault... however, apart from two dishes with typical peppers, there was nothing typical, and the food (although fresh) was nothing special... the very long times, but they specify it, the problem came for us, when after seeing the reviews, (many not positive) and without having even touched the bottle of water and without having ordered we asked to leave (also paying for the water we didn't drink) about ten times, but each time the answer was "so what do you want to order" when we expressly said that we wanted to leave, at the tenth answer which was always the same where the waiter continued to name dishes when our request was very different we understood that it would not have been possible if we had not ordered something... moreover I had ordered a champagne, but instead of champagne, I received a still and even sweet wine, even if we are not in America, but here the mistake was mine, because I had gone out to smoke a cigarette, thinking that as usual, if everyone was in the bathroom, they would not have served the wine without tasting it first. bad experience. I don't recommend, classic tourist-catching place. I forgot, we also ordered 4 potato croquettes, but only 50 minutes after ordering they came to tell us that there were only two left, when it is customary here too, after ordering you are told that there is no availability, not while you are waiting for the dish

10/09/2024: Alloggiavamo in un hotel a Marate e abbiamo deciso con mia moglie di fare una passeggiata nel centro storico di Marate.Siamo stati a cena in questo localino nella stradina del centro con tavolini sia all'interno che sulla stradina, noi abbiamo preferito accomodarci all'interno e dal nostro tavolo se si alzava lo sguardo si vedeva la statua del Redentore ed è stato molto suggestivo come se volgesse il suo sguardo sul paese.Personale molto giovane e cortese pensavamo in tempi di attesa molto lunghi invece siamo stati serviti in maniera veloce ,prima con delle patatine da noi richieste,molto buone e poi subito la pizza anch'essa molto buona con un impasto soffice Abbiamo trascorso,una bella sera .

The bruschetta with cracklings and ricotta are fantastic. An experience to be absolutely recommended to those who seek and want to breathe silence, slow time, authenticity.

29/10/2024: We stayed on Sunday, the place is surrounded by nature. The problem is the service, too slow between one course of appetizers (mostly croutons) and the other, too much time passes, almost every twenty/thirty minutes. The first is nothing exciting, the second is acceptable.

16/02/2025: La proprietaria, sig.ra Anna, ha soddisfatto ogni nostra esigenza con affabilità e cortesia. I piatti, accurati nella presentazione (opera del bravo chef Vincenzo), erano freschi e saporiti (mi riferisco alle portate a base di pesce e frutti di mare: impepata di cozze; insalata di mare; primi con patate, friarielli, vongole e peperoni cruschi), così come il dolce delicato e molto gustoso. Pane fresco (oltre che troppo buono). Pregevole carta dei vini e ottima selezione degli ammazzacaffè. Dal White Horse si gode anche di un panorama spettacolare. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ristorante consigliatissimo.

16/02/2025: Siamo andati a cena con una smartbox e il titolare si è dimostrato fin da subito gentilissimo e attento. il cibo è spettacolare, i salumi dall'antipasto sono di altissima qualità e alla nostra richiesta di bypassare il dolce ne hanno portato uno a forma di cuore. ci torneremo più che volentieri.

03/02/2025: Complimenti al titolare con il suo personale molto attento al cliente, buon cibo locale cucinato con ottima presentazione, dagli antipasti alla pizza primi piatti ai dolci , prezzi in linea e buona la location ben riscaldata , unica pecca che il tavolo per 7 persone si stava stretti e consiglio anche di mettere dei cuscini morbidi sulle sedie di legno in modo tale stando un po’ più comodi il cliente si sofferma di più e magari consumando qualche altra portata , per il resto sicuramente ritornerò.

19/11/2024: Ottima cena, molto buona la pizza e buonissimi gli altri piatti. Su richiesta ci hanno preparato anche dei peperoni cruschi che in quel momento non erano nel menu. Prezzo contenuto, personale gentile e cordiale. Molto consigliato!
