13/07/2025: “I just had lunch at this restaurant and was absolutely blown away! The seafood was delicious, with dishes prepared with attention to detail and of excellent quality. But what really impressed me was how impeccably clean the entire place was, from the bathroom to the dining room, where even the fake flowers were dust-free! The service was fantastic, thanks to Francesco, the waiter, and the chef and owner, who were both very kind. The quality/price ratio was excellent. The only downside is that it's in Potenza and I live in Martina Franca, so it's a bit far from my home. But if I were closer, it would have become my regular place! 😊 But I'll be back soon because it's definitely worth the trip.”

23/06/2025: Pasta with seafood: The kind waiter brings me the empty plate for the scraps, the lemon napkin and also offers to put a bib on me so I don't get dirty. I really expect great things. After 20 minutes my plate of at least 200g of pasta arrives with some leftover seafood salad. 3 rickety squid rings, 3 hard shrimp larvae and a handful of mussels as big as a caper. Usually pasta with leftovers tastes of vinegar but this one doesn't, so it doesn't deserve a low rating, but I assure the chef that the salt has remained in the kitchen and any other flavor has never even left the fish counter. I ask for spicy and the kind waiter leaves me a bottle bottom with pepper-scented oil. To each his own job. At least on Sundays they are open and I'm not starving in Potenza but I digested at 7 this morning, maybe.

31/07/2025: Ottima carne, antipasto veramente tipico, i miei figli hanno preso la pasta col sugo e hanno apprezzato molto. L’unica pecca: i dolci, erano un po’ secchi ma per il resto lo consiglio vivamente.

23/04/2025: Pizza ottima, anche se forse me l'aspettavo più condita, ma sono gusti. Abbiamo ordinato alle 8.20 consegna prevista 21.55, anche se un po' strano una consegna così tarda in settimana non ci siamo fatti domande. Ho dovuto chiamare due volte la pizzeria, per fortuna almeno sono arrivate calde. La pizza ottima, veramente un peccato il ritardo.

20/08/2025: Beautiful courtyard, extremely simple menu, good grilled meat option. Overall, a good option without any peaks. Service is uncommunicative and inattentive (inexperienced staff).

15/08/2025: Excellent food for the service compliments to the girl in the dining room very kind and always attentive in managing the tables to not miss anything at the table given the workload that there was more than 80 people and it was fantastic and compliments to the chef and whoever managed the kitchen the environment is very familiar

01/06/2025: More than a hotel it seemed like a disco. I advise you, before going to stay overnight, if they have parties banquets or other that same evening otherwise do not sleep. I had to call the reception twice both times after midnight because the music was too loud, and to top it off around 2 am fireworks. Terrible service, poor breakfast.

17/05/2025: A truly fantastic hotel. It's located on the main road, so you can quickly reach the nearby cultural highlights: Melfi, Acerenza, Potenza, Rionera in Vulture, Abbazia San Michele, Venosa, Muro Lucano, Picerno, ... Very friendly, very nice staff at reception and in the restaurant. They are helpful with any questions. I felt completely at home during my three-day stay. Thanks a million, best regards Josef

04/08/2025: Everything was great, the staff were very kind and welcoming. Nice background music, outdoor tables were nicely arranged among plants and flowerpots, and in a concrete area, it's nice to be surrounded by greenery. It was well-attended, the food was good, and the prices were all in all reasonable. Just a small tip: it would be better to serve bottled mineral water instead of the usual filtered water. 🤗

20/07/2025: The food was decent, the atmosphere was nice, but the service was truly awful. Aside from the fact that some of the order requests weren't honored—which can be overlooked (due to an oversight, a bit of confusion, or forgetfulness)—the clearing of full plates and glasses when someone gets up for a cigarette is just not normal! Halfway through the meal, I still had half of the pinsa on my plate, and the other person's glass still had the drink. We got up for a cigarette, and the table was completely cleared! I can understand empty plates and glasses, but it's not normal for someone to clear my plate while I'm eating! They offered to remake the plate and the cocktail, but honestly, we just wanted to leave. The result? Not even a discount at the register for the terrible service. I'm sorry, but I doubt I'll ever return.

26/07/2025: After a long three-hour motorcycle ride, this pub at the Monticchio Lakes was the perfect stop for a rejuvenating lunch. We were greeted with great warmth and kindness by a truly friendly host. The view of the lake is simply enchanting: relaxing and evocative, ideal for enjoying a lunch surrounded by nature. The traditional food is delicious and authentic, perfect for those seeking genuine local flavors. Recommended for those who want to eat well in a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature!
