15/06/2026: If you're passing through the area, it's worth a detour.
The atmosphere is relaxing, with outdoor seating but an intimate and charming interior. Take the time to savor not only the dishes but also the surroundings.
Excellent service.
The menu features many locally sourced ingredients and respect for the raw materials.
The vegetable dish is simple yet rich in variety, with a sauce that highlights the different types of vegetables.
The mammole or gnocchi are excellent, the stew is flavorful, and the dish is well-balanced. Perhaps a different cut of tomatoes, lightly roasted, would give the whole dish more character.
The meatballs are excellent, with a slightly dry interior; a smaller size would make them more appreciable.
The chickpea hummus is delicious, a composition of flavors that lingers and amazes.
The menu features first courses and appetizers that lean toward vegetarian, while the second courses are almost all meat-based and a bit more standard, like the Cantabrian anchovies in the appetizers (?). If the second courses were creatively in line with the first courses, it would be even better. The coffee could be improved.
Excellent value for money, even for the wine selection, a Pecorino Abruzzese.
A general observation: a place you must visit, not by chance. The place embodies a challenge of continuity and character that deserves to be rewarded.
01/05/2026: Art all around, art at the table. There's little to say when you eat so well. The atmosphere is very refined and welcoming. Definitely worth a try. Impeccable service. There aren't many tables, but reservations are recommended.

14/06/2026: Comfortable and welcoming location. My wife and I didn't have a starter, but we had an excellent appetizer and two simple, excellent main courses. I had an exceptional tagliata, my wife had two sausages with a salad, and I had baked potatoes. The service was impeccable and very friendly. The quality and price were fair. I'll definitely be back.

if they knew I was a good friend of some of the locals who often go there, it might have been different

17/05/2026: We had lunch at this Osteria/restaurant recommended by a friend... he couldn't have recommended a better place, it's been a while since we've eaten somewhere like this. The interior is immediately welcoming and already mouth-watering... from the kitchen you can even glimpse the wood-fired grill where the meat is cooked. All the staff were courteous, the appetizers were generous and high-quality... and what can we say about the first courses: handmade pasta and exquisite sauces (both the cacio e pepe and the sparerib sauce were excellent), truly generous portions!! And to finish, the strictly homemade tiramisu (like everything else) was better than mine 😆. Truly competitive prices for the quality offered! We can't recommend this place enough! The guys from Rome and Avezzano. We'll definitely be back!
26/04/2026: The food is very good, authentic, and plentiful. The price is reasonable, considering it's a very rustic and family-friendly restaurant.
The prices have increased slightly, but are still reasonable.

29/06/2026: The place is very quiet, with outdoor tables spread across several terraces along the stream. The food is excellent. Both the egg with bacon and truffle and the classic arrosticini were good quality. Unfortunately, I have to remove one star due to the usual bad habit of paying the bill: they hand out a pre-bill but then, after paying, they 'forget' to issue the receipt.
17/06/2026: Maps said it was open, but after a hike from the parking lot we found it closed.

17/06/2026: This restaurant specializes, as the name suggests, in arrosticini. They're delicious and varied. The place could use some updating, especially the exterior. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Prices are a bit high for what they offer.

11/07/2026: We booked a table for seven at this pizzeria on a Saturday evening in the summer, and from the moment we arrived, we waited 15 minutes just to order drinks. There were other tables around us with the same number of people who arrived later and were served first. Then, from the moment we ordered our appetizers (four supplì, a portion of fries, and a portion of Ascoli olives) and pizzas, we waited 1 hour and 7 minutes just for the appetizer, which had already gone cold because the waitress had stopped to talk to the table next to us for several minutes. When we went to pay, the staff complained to other customers that people weren't capable of waiting and that there were too many people. I'm truly disappointed and angry, and I hope this review helps.

24/10/2025: I'm staying here for a few days. The room isn't modern, but it's very clean and comfortable. I also had the pleasure of
having lunch and dinner at the restaurant, where I found everything to be excellent, like the homemade pasta. The prices were fantastic. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect. The train station is just across the underpass, and it's about a 5-minute walk to the city center.

10/05/2026: A place I'd describe as quaint, with its delightful disarray. The menu includes "crostoni" (stuffed and baked bread slices) with various traditional local fillings. The wine list is good, as are the beers on offer.
27/04/2026: This place should be avoided. There's nothing more to add except that anyone who runs a business like this shouldn't be rude, shouldn't insult customers who bring money, and shouldn't speak out of turn.

02/05/2025: Nonostante la prenotazione io ed i miei amici (venuti anche da fuori regione) veniamo lasciati alla porta con ignobili scuse dal personale che dava colpe di vario genere alla titolare mentre cercavano di stipare i clienti (tutti con prenotazione ma senza posto) anche dentro le fioriere! Roba da medioevo!
01/05/2025: Pessima esperienza. Prenotato per 10 persone per tempo con tre telefonate di conferma, arriviamo con questi amici venuti da Roma e troviamo tutto pieno. Come noi altre persone che, nonostante avessero prenotato, erano lì a protestare perche neanche loro avevano trovato il posto prenotato. Praticamente chi prima è arrivato si è seduto e al diavolo tutti gli altri insieme alla correttezza e alla serietà. La giustificazione del sedicente proprietario/ristoratore: "Eh questa è la ristorazione!"
Beh no la ristorazione è tutt'altra cosa che poco c'entra con il saper cucinare bene (anche mia nonna sapeva farlo ma non per questo aveva una attività commerciale).. Vergognatevi e cominciate a pensare di fare altro.
Sul cibo non posso dire nulla visto che non è stato possibile nemmeno sedersi. Ma se tanto mi dà tanto..
