26/11/2025: Very nice, with an in dining room grill which made it hot but gave atmosphere. I had the best cacio e pepe that have ever tasted, and enjoyed the steak with balsamic as well. The house wine was also very good, and €8 per liter.

08/12/2025: An unforgettable place, the hospitality is excellent, the professionalism is unique, ideal for those who love traditional dishes, not suitable for those on a diet, excellent local products, homemade pasta, surrounded by greenery, fresh in summer and winter. Thanks to the altitude, you can even have pleasant encounters.

01/12/2025: A lovely restaurant near the ancient city gate, close to the municipal fountain. Careful attention to the selection of dishes, the quality of the ingredients, the service, and the ambiance. The dining room has a fireplace. It's a welcoming space, with tables for couples and families. Good wine selection. The two owners, father and son, are very kind and knowledgeable. The facilities could use some updating. I highly recommend it; the prices are reasonable, and reservations are recommended.

The staff were very friendly, and they let us eat at 3:00 PM.
21/10/2025: Sunday lunch. Excellent polenta and steak. Everything tastes good. Average price is €30 per person. Ample parking.

16/11/2025: Have you ever had the chance to taste refined dishes like a work of art served in an art gallery? At Ettore you can experience all this and if you like some work of art you can also buy it, at Ettore it's all an experience, a small but welcoming place the presentation of the dishes is worthy of a starred restaurant, in short I could continue with the adjectives but it would be useless the only thing to do is go there and live the experience!!! ! !.......... and I forgot and the bill is absolutely honest!!! ! Recommended 👍👍👍

05/10/2025: Stunning place nestled near the river, excellent cuisine, the only thing is the portions are really small, the parmigiana was really a taste the size of a spoon, an aubergine but even half more doesn't cost you anything, especially since it costs 8 euros... It's a shame to see a beautiful place get lost for this nonsense.

I live in the square, so I know all the local restaurants.
I often go to La Pergola to eat.
Today they outdid themselves.
They made me a carbonara with handmade fettuccine upon request.
Guys... I've eaten a lot of carbonara since I'm obsessed with it.
But this one was out of this world.
Compliments to the chef.
Then he brought me the ossobuco stew.
Lunch worth 10.
Well done...
Kind, nice, excellent food.

05/09/2025: A distinctive atmosphere, somewhere between rustic and modern, features outdoor seating in the obelisk square and three indoor dining rooms for cooler or rainy evenings. The pizzas are excellent, both with and without crust (specify when ordering). Tex Willer-style grilled steaks and traditional Abruzzo dishes are also available. Service is fast and attentive. The red beer is excellent. Prices are reasonable, but not excessive.

10/08/2025: Not a good experience, dated room, bathroom shutter cord detached from the wall, smell of smoke and food in the corridors, breakfast poor to say the least with a sign at the back low but clearly visible from the breakfast room with scurrilous statements to say the least in response to closing the door.....
14/07/2025: I don't know where to begin with how disgusting this place is.
The restaurant is not clean; the tables are covered with plastic and a filthy tablecloth underneath, and then set the table with tablecloths with holes in them.
The food is poor, and I think it's even spoiled.
An unpleasant odor everywhere.
The rooms aren't up to standard.
The staff is dirty; one waiter even showed up wearing a filthy apron (and that's a compliment).
This establishment should be inspected by the local health authority.
The owner is always checking our noses, and he's always the one who gets annoyed if you pay by credit card.
And last but not least, we weren't even registered.

20/07/2025: One of the worst experiences! Old hotel, room with cobwebs, lights out, dirty sink, and brown drops coming out as soon as I turned on the shower. Never again! On the plus side, the breakfast and clean sheets.

02/05/2025: Nonostante la prenotazione io ed i miei amici (venuti anche da fuori regione) veniamo lasciati alla porta con ignobili scuse dal personale che dava colpe di vario genere alla titolare mentre cercavano di stipare i clienti (tutti con prenotazione ma senza posto) anche dentro le fioriere! Roba da medioevo!
01/05/2025: Pessima esperienza. Prenotato per 10 persone per tempo con tre telefonate di conferma, arriviamo con questi amici venuti da Roma e troviamo tutto pieno. Come noi altre persone che, nonostante avessero prenotato, erano lì a protestare perche neanche loro avevano trovato il posto prenotato. Praticamente chi prima è arrivato si è seduto e al diavolo tutti gli altri insieme alla correttezza e alla serietà. La giustificazione del sedicente proprietario/ristoratore: "Eh questa è la ristorazione!"
Beh no la ristorazione è tutt'altra cosa che poco c'entra con il saper cucinare bene (anche mia nonna sapeva farlo ma non per questo aveva una attività commerciale).. Vergognatevi e cominciate a pensare di fare altro.
Sul cibo non posso dire nulla visto che non è stato possibile nemmeno sedersi. Ma se tanto mi dà tanto..
