19/03/2026: Had lunch with friends and dinner alone. Beautiful dining room with a large fireplace, an intimate atmosphere. I didn't want to eat meat for dinner, but the delicious gnocchi with fondue and truffle, followed by grilled scamorza cheese, were delicious. The house red wine was excellent, everything was delicious.
Dinner with my wife: "tender and delicious" grilled lamb and vegetables. My wife: tagliolinoi with speck and pistachios. Delicious. Very reasonable prices, very friendly family management.
16/03/2026: A big YES for the meat! The first courses, at least if we're talking about long pasta (tagliolini, etc.), could be improved... they were very dry and not very seasoned! I ordered a gricia and expected a nice pecorino cream, but alas, not only was it very dry, but there was no pecorino... and they only serve parmesan! A total disappointment! Dessert was also terrible; I ordered a tiramisu with almost dry ladyfingers and very little mascarpone cream! The arrosticini, on the other hand, were excellent and really tasty; they literally saved my lunch! If I were to return, I would opt exclusively for the meat!

10/03/2026: Excellent hospitality, impeccable service with the utmost care and professionalism, the food is far above average, delicate dishes and expertly prepared... even the reheated dish, I'd say pro! In my opinion, among the best in Abruzzo.

02/01/2026: The place is small, but it has an outdoor garden for the summer. It's not very well-kept; the bathrooms are outside and a bit dated. The food is simple but homely, family-style. The hostess is kind and helpful.

11/01/2026: I went there for lunch today with my dad. While other places close at 2:30 PM, they're staying open. Kudos to you for "grandma's nonsense." It's delicious, and the idea of finishing the meal at your table is great 👍🏼

12/01/2026: I remembered it being an excellent pizzeria, but the restaurant was a surprise! Fantastic tempura artichokes, tagliatelle with beef ragù, as exceptional as the ones with mushrooms. And generous portions. A welcoming, well-kept atmosphere. Well done!
28/12/2025: I went to this restaurant to eat a pizza and I assure you that I strongly advise against it. Dry pizza without ingredients. I took it with boiled potatoes, sausage and mozzarella, the latter non-existent and the potatoes on top and the sausage were just crumbled and the cost was the only abundant thing. NEVER AGAIN

16/11/2025: Have you ever had the chance to taste refined dishes like a work of art served in an art gallery? At Ettore you can experience all this and if you like some work of art you can also buy it, at Ettore it's all an experience, a small but welcoming place the presentation of the dishes is worthy of a starred restaurant, in short I could continue with the adjectives but it would be useless the only thing to do is go there and live the experience!!! ! !.......... and I forgot and the bill is absolutely honest!!! ! Recommended 👍👍👍

24/10/2025: I'm staying here for a few days. The room isn't modern, but it's very clean and comfortable. I also had the pleasure of
having lunch and dinner at the restaurant, where I found everything to be excellent, like the homemade pasta. The prices were fantastic. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect. The train station is just across the underpass, and it's about a 5-minute walk to the city center.

02/05/2025: Nonostante la prenotazione io ed i miei amici (venuti anche da fuori regione) veniamo lasciati alla porta con ignobili scuse dal personale che dava colpe di vario genere alla titolare mentre cercavano di stipare i clienti (tutti con prenotazione ma senza posto) anche dentro le fioriere! Roba da medioevo!
01/05/2025: Pessima esperienza. Prenotato per 10 persone per tempo con tre telefonate di conferma, arriviamo con questi amici venuti da Roma e troviamo tutto pieno. Come noi altre persone che, nonostante avessero prenotato, erano lì a protestare perche neanche loro avevano trovato il posto prenotato. Praticamente chi prima è arrivato si è seduto e al diavolo tutti gli altri insieme alla correttezza e alla serietà. La giustificazione del sedicente proprietario/ristoratore: "Eh questa è la ristorazione!"
Beh no la ristorazione è tutt'altra cosa che poco c'entra con il saper cucinare bene (anche mia nonna sapeva farlo ma non per questo aveva una attività commerciale).. Vergognatevi e cominciate a pensare di fare altro.
Sul cibo non posso dire nulla visto che non è stato possibile nemmeno sedersi. Ma se tanto mi dà tanto..

20/07/2025: One of the worst experiences! Old hotel, room with cobwebs, lights out, dirty sink, and brown drops coming out as soon as I turned on the shower. Never again! On the plus side, the breakfast and clean sheets.
