16/11/2025: The only place I know of in Italy (I'm sure there are others) that offers brunch or breakfast with Anglo-Saxon foods and dishes like eggs, avocado, pancakes, etc. Quick and attentive service. 1 minute from the train station and 1 minute from the sea. Excellent food and coffee! Super 👍
04/10/2025: When we want to treat ourselves to a great breakfast, we stop at Sotto Casa. A refined setting where we can enjoy exquisite delicacies.

18/10/2025: My husband and I enjoyed excellent quality dishes for lunch. The delicate sauces enhance the full flavor of the fish; there are no breadcrumbs, concentrated sauces, or strong spices: even the dessert made with stale bread is simple and elegant. 👏🏻
We also greatly appreciated the white linen placemats and cutlery holder. The staff who served us were very kind, attentive, and friendly. Thanks to all the staff and to the chef, who enlightened us about the history of the family trabocco, which inspired him to delight us with unique and refined dishes.

04/11/2025: Fresh and tasty seafood restaurant. Extremely friendly staff. Elegant and refined atmosphere with a touch of old-world charm, and above all, fast and efficient service. No exasperatingly long waits. The appetizers are on the house and very delicious. We'll gladly return for a get-together with friends.

07/12/2025: I was looking for a last-minute restaurant that would welcome me on a Saturday night. I discovered that in Sulmona, the downtown restaurants are fully booked on weekends. The kind owner found me a spot. I had their own pinsa, which was really good and light. My friend had the ravioli with ricotta and herbs and was very satisfied. It's worth a visit.

The rooms are a little dated, but the staff and hospitality make the difference. Piero, in particular, is the best, always available and kind, ready to accommodate all your needs. The food is excellent. The location is very good. Although there is no private parking, it's easy to find a spot near the hotel. We personally highly recommend it to anyone visiting Villetta Barrea, and we'll definitely be back. Probably the best value for money!
14/08/2025: Highly recommended, the hotel is spotless and strategically located for enjoying the national park. I stayed for a week and felt right at home. Mr. Pietro was incredibly kind, and Chef Luigi delighted us with his delicious dishes for both breakfast and dinner! I'll definitely be back.

03/11/2025: I've been several times as a group or as a couple and have tried various menus. The place is intimate, modern, with great attention to detail. Refined yet contemporary. I've always found the dishes to be well-balanced, especially the fish dishes. Even the wine selection, whether from the menu or the tasting menu, has surprised us with its thoughtfulness and selection. The service is perfect, attentive yet very discreet. I'll be back as soon as possible.

The gluten-free pizza is excellent.
Service wasn't the fastest, but it was Saturday and the place was packed, so we expected that. The price was fair.

30/11/2025: "La Fiaccola" is a small, family-run restaurant typical of this area. I've been coming back for years to try their homemade dishes, made with local produce and at very fair prices. Everything is delicious, tasty, and easy to digest, served in a welcoming, family atmosphere. The menu features several options featuring typical cheeses from the "La Porta dei Parchi" agritourism farm.
11/11/2025: Passing by, we stopped at this little restaurant for lunch, drawn by the intoxicating aroma of the food. Unfortunately, there wasn't a table available for us, but we made a reservation the next day to secure a table. We ate wonderfully: the meunière was spectacular, the roast lamb plentiful and delicious, and the side dishes were equally delicious. To round things off, a selection of local desserts. Our compliments to all the staff, who were extremely kind and provided prompt service.

29/11/2025: It was my first time at this restaurant, and it won't be my last. The chitarra alla teramana was delicious, with a rich, flavorful sauce. The goat alla neretese, tender and flavorful, really won me over. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was very friendly and welcoming: a place I'll definitely be returning to!

This was our third visit — all the way from Montreal, Canada! 🇨🇦
The place is absolutely amazing — not just a restaurant, but a real experience.
The service was excellent, the food fresh and flavorful, with an impressive variety of choices. Everything we tried was delicious.
Make sure to take the time to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality offered.
We’ll definitely be back again! 👏
