26/01/2025: I went to the area for work, as it was a Tuesday evening the place was a bit empty and it's a shame because the food is really good and the host is very kind. He kept me company and explained Abruzzo dishes to me with pride. Greetings also to chef Paola. It was truly a pleasant evening!

21/12/2024: Questo posto è perfetto per evadere dallo stress della vita quotidiana. Nel locale puoi trovare sorrisi, calore, professionalità e profumi nei piatti che ristorano l'anima. Non parlerò dei piatti perché vanno degustati ma è importante dire che la qualità delle materie prime è la base di partenza...poi Paola, la Chef, come per magia crea l'alchimia nel piatto...il risultato è che le papille gustative sono in festa dall'inizio alla fine! Un plauso quindi a Claudio per la dedizione assoluta al servizio di sala, ad Alessandro per l'educazione, la professionalità e la bellezza della sua gioventù e dulcis in fundo a Paola che è a tutti gli effetti Lume Bistrò.

20/02/2025: I've been there several times, the last time with a group of friends who didn't know this restaurant. I brought them saying that they would eat very well and so they did, it's a guarantee when it comes to kebabs and Abruzzo cuisine. I will happily return and hopefully soon. I would add that the menu is not very rich in options but that's right given that you go to a restaurant that does only that, so I suggest going there already knowing that you will have to eat huge quantities of kebabs.

16/05/2025: We are on the hills overlooking the Tronto River, a historic natural border and the last outpost of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, from which the restaurant takes its name. From these heights you can see the entire Marche plain, with a view that extends from Ascoli Piceno to the Sibillini promontories, and obviously to the sea. The restaurant focuses on home-made cuisine, with quality and flavors of the past. The atmosphere is that of a typical trattoria, without frills but with an informal and relaxing environment. I had a great time, taking a leap back in time, which sometimes we would like to relive for longer.

19/02/2025: Tagliatelle with white lamb ragù very good, shame a little salty. Even in fried pizza a little too much salt. Very good cold cuts and cheeses in the starter. The lady who served us was very kind but the service was a little slow considering that there were only us and three other people (probably busy with home orders). Very nice place but unpleasant interior decor. (obviously personal opinion not shared).

11/05/2025: Kindness, courtesy and competence on the part of the managers and staff. Fresh pastries and cakes. Precise cleaning and hygiene.

28/05/2025: Very welcoming and well-kept place, noteworthy purchasable mis en place. Fairly varied menu with typical proposals of the area, revisited, but not only. Very kind and helpful staff. Everything very good and with high quality raw materials, I gave 4 stars and not 5 to the food only because the first one, although executed to perfection, did not particularly impress me. Note of merit for the truly excellent baked goods and extensive wine list. I will return.

23/02/2025: I was recently invited to the La Corniola restaurant in Pescocostanzo to celebrate a friend's birthday. I had never had the opportunity to visit it before, and I must say that it was a pleasant discovery. The place is very elegant and well-kept, with a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. It is not surprising that it is recommended by the MICHELIN Guide, given the high level of cuisine and service offered. I chose a soup with porcini mushrooms, rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. Another notable dish was the egg with truffle. The selection of meats for the main courses is equally impressive. The quality of the meat is evident, and every bite was a pleasure. The wine list is well-stocked, with a cellar offering a wide range of both local and international labels. To conclude on a sweet note, we enjoyed a cake prepared directly from the restaurant kitchen, which fully met our expectations. The prices are absolutely average, especially considering the high quality of the dishes and the service. Compared to other restaurants in the area, La Corniola stands out for its culinary excellence and attention to detail. Without a doubt, I will return to this restaurant on future occasions, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to enjoy a high-level gastronomic experience in Pescocostanzo.

17/04/2025: Everything is of excellent quality, including the service. We came to an event and there was a lot of choice of food which was all of high quality and very good!! The service is among the best in all of Avezzano. The environment is really excellent both inside and outside, it is located in a beautiful part of Avezzano and the inside is very nice

05/05/2025: Unfortunately it is not possible to put less. I remembered the historic restaurant of my youth and I bring my children and my partner to taste the real miller. For the love of God!!! If we were served by a bear, maybe a smile would do it. Dirty cutlery and glasses, hair (the plural is no coincidence) on the plates and even in the dough. Quality word unknown throughout. P.s. There were also those in the room who smoked in the silence of the owners. Never again!

25/04/2025: Appena entrati siamo stati accolti da sorrisi, simpatia e calore (fuori era freddo) i piatti buonissimi , sia per noi grandi sia per il nostro bambino, ci sono animali e un parco giochi, tanto prato e una veranda grande, insomma non manca niente.

02/05/2025: Le fettuccine ai porcini precotte no, non me le sarei mai aspettate... per niente...la cicoria congelata e ripassata in padella no... non me la aspettavo per niente...l'acqua sfusa 2 euro a caraffa non ci credevo...il coperto ( carta ) a due euro e cinquanta a persona anche no. Spiacente per la recensione poco gradevole ma se si fanno decine di kilometri per un pasto conviviale di tipo rurale non è questo ciò che ti aspetti. Complimenti per il griglista , persona di grande dovizia ed attenzione.

I was thinking today, April 20th, Easter day, who knows how I'll eat.......instead I have to compliment everything...from the food, to the service and the place 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝.....I recommend it... because if you eat well on big parties....you can imagine on normal days.....you're great, thank you 😘

16/03/2025: Excellent food, the owner of the restaurant was very friendly and we especially appreciated the wine selection, an informal environment with references to the rustic style which adapt perfectly to the Abruzzo location.

21/04/2025: We stayed at La Radice for 4 nights and there couldn't have been a better solution. The structure is surrounded by greenery (with a Gran Sasso view!) but only 12-15 minutes from L'Aquila, so very convenient for everything. The room was very clean and well organized. No noise around, an oasis of peace! Breakfast is served in the building in front of the b&b and consists of very good homemade desserts. If you want (on request) you can also have dinner at the property, as it is also a restaurant. Thanks to Marco for his kindness and availability!
