On the train back from Parma to Bari, expecting a stop in Pescara, we called the pizzeria to ask if they could deliver the pizzas directly to the platform... and they said yes! Punctual, friendly, and truly out of the ordinary. An experience that deserves a special mention!

07/12/2025: We tried several dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. We asked for something off the menu (Goan chicken - chicken in coconut milk sauce) and they accommodated us. We paid about 40 euros each and had a pleasant evening. I should say that if we ordered half the food, we would have still been full and satisfied; we got carried away with the deliciousness of the specialties. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Try it!

03/10/2025: The place and service were very pleasant, but as for the food, while well-prepared and good, I think they put a bit too much emphasis on appearance rather than substance. The portions were very small, and we were all still hungry at the end of the meal, which was strange for an Indian restaurant. Honestly, I wouldn't return for this very reason.

Tucked away amid the lively chaos of the neighbourhood, this unassuming restaurant is a little pocket of spice, warmth, and the comforting certainty that you are about to eat well. One of the great reassurances when eating at Jaipur is spotting Indian diners at neighbouring tables, a quiet endorsement that speaks louder than any review ever could. The aromas alone, a heady mix of cumin, cardamom, and coriander, are enough to make one momentarily forget that the Eternal City exists beyond the restaurant walls. My wife, meanwhile, is already planning her order, because the mango lassi here has earned a level of devotion most people only grant to childhood pets and favourite jumpers. The servers are a delight. Attentive without being intrusive, they greet you with cheerful banter and a genuine eagerness to educate. When it comes time to order, the team not only guides you through the menu with care and enthusiasm, but also gently recommends perhaps adding vegetables to accompany the generous servings of meat, which to be honest is always sincerely appreciated. The food itself rarely disappoints. The butter chicken is indulgent and comforting, the mango chicken a sweeter and equally satisfying companion, and both arrive rich, fragrant, and unapologetically generous. Naan emerges hot from the tandoor, and the prices are always reasonable to the point where you will inevitably want to order one more dish, will never quite finish everything, and will end up being politely reprimanded for leaving a little behind. It is the sort of gentle admonishment that only makes the meal feel even more like home. All in all, Jaipur is a rare gem in Trastevere, authentic, welcoming, and generous. And if the wait staff suggest adding a side of vegetables, take their advice seriously. Even in Rome, a man without his greens is a man destined to be mildly admonished by strangers with better culinary instincts.

05/12/2025: I'm extremely disappointed to have to give this place only two stars, because honestly, the food isn't bad at all. However, we were disappointed by the following incident: We opted for an interesting option on the menu, a series of courses that, although intended for one person, we didn't have much of an appetite, so we decided to share. So we asked the waiter if he thought it was a good choice, and the only thing he suggested was an extra portion of WHITE rice. We accepted his advice. As mentioned, the food wasn't bad at all. Only when it came to the bill, the rice (off the menu)—white rice, I repeat—cost €10. (10) -- I travel a lot for work, even in the United States, where a cappuccino costs $6, an extra rice portion, if they overdo it, will cost $7 -- MASSIMO So for one dish designed for one person, it's €25 plus €10 for rice, water, and a change that was supposed to be returned, which he kept, saying, "I don't have the two!" (That's really how it went, I'm not exaggerating.) In the end, we spent €40. It's a shame, as a vegan, to have to give this negative review. But anyway. That's not how it's done.

The service was fast and attentive, especially regarding the needs of those with celiac disease. In short, a great experience: I highly recommend it! —— The Dawat restaurant is truly welcoming, with a cozy and well-kept atmosphere. The menu is clearly organized and highlights gluten-free options, which is a great plus. 12/12/2025: Let me tell you, i have been living in Europe for 3 years now. This has to be my best Indian restaurant till now. I really like to come here once a month and explore different flavours. I really like how each dosh is well combined with the three chutney/dip they serve which itself makes each thing wholesome. Everytime I go, in sometime the restaurant get full slowly by so many Italians. I tried their Prawns tandoori, veg mix antipasti, biryani (only I did not find upto the mark), Paneer kadhai, masala chai, non veg platter for 2 people with chicken and lamb, cheese paratha, alu paratha, garlic and butter naan.

06/11/2025: I ate well, the atmosphere was good. I wouldn't recommend the dessert, but the rice and vegetable dishes were excellent.
