13/08/2025: The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, not at all gaudy, and decorated with a refined Indian flair. The dishes were astonishing with their flavors and the strong identity they convey, a paradise for anyone who loves bold yet balanced flavors. A must-try at least once in a lifetime; I personally will never be without it. The welcoming and professional owner helps with the selection of dishes, and a warm hello to the little girl, whom I imagine was his daughter; she must be proud of her dad. The prices are reasonable. I recommend the mango ice cream.

13/08/2025: I took my family to eat Indian food here for the first time and they were more than satisfied... happy! The dishes were spicy and delicious! Especially the madras chicken, not to mention the tandoori tikka! Excellent service... Compliments to the owner who not only shows attention to detail, but is also friendly and very professional, and will be able to give good advice. See you next time!

30/08/2025: It was a pleasant surprise to dine at Serendib Indian restaurant. Despite being a historic establishment, as the owner explained, we hadn't yet had the chance to try their specialties. We found everything delicious. We favored the seafood tasting menu, which we recommend, but we'll be back to try other dishes. The atmosphere and friendly staff were also welcoming.

28/08/2025: I ordered a large "Too Good to Go" surprise bag from Serendib. I received a delicious dish of meat, rice, and potatoes. The meat was so tender, it melted in your mouth. The potatoes were also soft and flavorful. The rice was equally as delicious, also exceptional. I took it home on my bike, and when it arrived, the dish was still hot. The staff was very welcoming. I had a great experience! I recommend it and will be back!

07/08/2025: It's now a regular stop. The menu offers a wide selection of meat and fish, but I also recommend it for vegetarians and vegans. The food never disappoints! The staff is friendly and offers attentive and meticulous service. It's worth mentioning the decor, cutlery, and serving dishes: they're very well-crafted!

31/07/2025: You can look, I almost never give a full 5 stars...and yet... GO EAT AT SWAGAT! I had never eaten Indian food and was scared of the overly spicy (not spicy, but the actual spice) and the nauseating sweetness. Instead, every flavor is delicate and balanced, a dance of flavors that makes you fall in love! The meat and fish are cooked perfectly, and the portions are very generous! I think it's my new favorite restaurant ever: Ambience - elegant, welcoming, and the sign says it all: your gateway to India! Plus, everything was spotless and spotless, which is rare in restaurants these days! I loved being there until the very end! The music was obviously themed, not too loud, and decidedly pleasant. The soft lighting, colors, and decorations transport you to India, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and pleasure. Service - fast, precise, and attentive to detail. The staff is friendly and dressed in traditional attire. I love seeing people who work in the restaurant industry with love and dedication! And now for the most important part: THE FOOD!!!! Let's start by saying they have a very extensive and varied menu for all tastes, even vegan! They welcome you with three incredible sauces: spicy (my favorite), sweet and sour (I usually don't like them, but this one was really good), and mint (I don't like mint, but it was really good), all accompanied by a basket of artisanal chips with an ultra-delicate flavor (reminiscent of low-calorie white chips). We had a mixed antipasto, and let me tell you, the portion was generous, and every single piece was a feast for the taste buds! Then there was fish in coconut sauce, and other things I can't remember, and let me tell you: a taste sensation! I was afraid of coconut milk because of the sweetness, but instead it was out of this world! I've never had such tender, delicately flavored cod! Then there was chicken in almond sauce, another truly incredible experience. All accompanied by traditional, super delicious bread. We tried the cheese and mint bread! Can't you just say no to dessert?! Coconut cookies cooked in soy milk... BOOM 💥 the bomb! Super good! Not too sweet and great texture! Then the rice pudding... Good (my girlfriend loved it), but it was too sweet for my taste and the texture was weird 🤣 but it's worth a try! I've attached photos of the evening and I highly recommend you go!!!!

22/07/2025: This place is just fantastic When they brought the bread - we couldn't resist, it's just a drug 🤤 Then we ordered a lot of different appetizers And I was so emotional that I didn't even realize how much I ate 🤣 It's just divinely delicious I especially liked the cheese with beets in a crispy breading!!! The chicken with a flatbread was also unreal Chicken butter It's just an orgasm, I ate the sauce with spoons!!!! Thank you for the incredible cuisine And thanks to your chef! I haven't eaten so deliciously for a long time ❤️‍🔥 At the end of dinner, I couldn't even breathe, how much I ate!!

16/07/2025: My favorite place for Indian cuisine in Milan, a must-try. The staff is always super nice and welcoming, and the location is truly elegant. An even better note: the food is truly delicious, not heavy, not spicy, with a perfect balance of soft and bold flavors. A must-try!

28/08/2025: A restaurant tastefully decorated in an exotic style. The service is also very attentive. Tables are spaced well apart. Although the menu is extensive, I didn't find a great variety of dishes, but you probably have to get used to the flavors of Indian cuisine and the ubiquitous sauces; however, the dishes are undoubtedly very well prepared. For what we ordered, the price seemed high; furthermore, the portions aren't large.

12/09/2025: An excellent ethnic restaurant in one of the liveliest squares in Pisa's city center. Specializing in meat, fish, and vegetable dishes cooked according to the ancient tandoor oven tradition, the restaurant, with both indoor and outdoor seating, offers a wide selection of incredibly tasty traditional Indian dishes: from appetizers (the mix of samosas, aloo bonda, paneer, sabzi, and chicken pakora is fantastic) to various basmati rice variations, from marinated chicken bites (the chicken tandoori and chicken tikka are excellent) to spicy lamb stew, served in characteristic decorated copper bowls (the mutton curry, or the even more "mean" mutton vindaloo, is fantastic), not to mention the pork, the many variations of nan (the traditional, thin Indian flatbread), and a wide selection of vegetarian options. As a beer enthusiast, I recommend washing it all down with the amazing Indian lager "Cobra": fresh and light, it pairs perfectly with the intense, smoky, and sometimes pungent flavors of the spiced meats! Sonia or her husband Sandip will welcome you, show you to your table, and explain the menu: two exquisite, extremely polite, and knowledgeable professionals who will make you feel at ease, always offering a smile and a kind word! One last positive note, besides the impeccable restrooms: the truly competitive prices, which, combined with the exceptionally high quality of the food, will encourage you to let go and indulge! In the last two years, we've been guests of "Tanduri" twice, and we can't wait to return!

10/09/2025: I had a wonderful experience at Tanduri Ristorante Indiano in Pisa. The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully spiced without being overwhelming. The vegetarian options are excellent—I highly recommend the kadai paneer, dal tadka and their fresh tandoori naan, both of which were absolutely delicious.
