27/02/2025: I recently visited the restaurant to give justice to my Indian food cravings and had to say in very sad mood that the restaurant is outrageously expensive for a single Indian cusine and it has no value for what customer pays. I ordered Chicken Biryani for 14.5 Euros which itself is a high cost the worst part is it doesn't do the justice to biryani . I would undoubtedly say the biryani I had was one of the worst I have ever had in my life. Chicken biryani had a bottle guard mixed with chicken, it was not dry and served in semi solid condition like chicken gravy mixed with the rice. The service was even worse ,I had to ask for the cutlery, and tissue paper myself. it looks fancy and has a aesthetic ambience but there is no point in a restaurant serving bad food and having a good visuals. I would not recommend anyone to this place.

02/03/2025: Discovered by chance thanks to the internet, we booked and went. Full place, we choose from the menu (helped by the photos on the sites): a focaccia, roast chicken, mixed vegetables, curry stew. Starter, a fantastic vegetable croquette. Everything excellent, freshly made, balanced taste, the degree of spiciness is of your choice. I would like to point out here that the chicken is of incredible quality! Very convenient value for money. Kind staff. We'll be back.

09/03/2025: We tried this restaurant on a Saturday evening convinced by the good reviews, but it turned out to be a terrible experience. Almost all the food (except the naan bread) had no flavor and was not spicy at all (which is very strange being Indian food). Furthermore, we were sick all night and the next day, indicating the poor quality of the ingredients. The service was extremely slow, despite the restaurant being at half capacity and in addition it was impossible to get us to change one of the main dishes which was wrong, because the lady on duty didn't know and spoke Italian, while the gentleman kept saying it was the right one. Finally, the price was exaggerated for a dinner of this type, €68 for two. In two words… AVOID.

25/03/2025: I rate the ice cream cup "m'arrobbat o core", paid 8.5 euros. I do not rate the quality of the ice cream because here we are at high levels and I frequent ice cream shops. In my opinion the very expensive cup (the most expensive on the menu) in question is a tourist trap as it seems more like an ice cream cake than an ice cream cup: chock-full of various biscuits and very little ice cream. Definitely choose something else... Unless you want a portion of ice cream cake. I update the review: prices have become too expensive (5 euros for a cone that is just about decent), two times out of three they don't give receipts, it's not that there is all this great quality. I don't think I'll go back unless in exceptional cases.

10/03/2025: Characteristic location immersed in the historic center of Amantea a few steps from the village. The ice creams are excellent although I don't recommend the dark chocolate which was frozen and not in line with the creaminess of the other flavours. The prices do not make it accessible as a trusted ice cream shop where you can go every day but as an experience to be had every now and then.

11/03/2025: Favorite pizzeria ever! I've been coming here for decades: excellent food quality; quick, attentive and competent service; characteristic environment without being rude. I always get the herb calzone and the hot chocolate Libidine with amaretto base: unbeatable and always exceptional. Not recommended for those who want easy shopping center-style parking, and for those who don't like "candle-lit" environments.

01/03/2025: A lifelong customer, I have always celebrated birthdays here... today being my birthday I booked at 8pm and after only 15 minutes of delay (because they don't have a car park and I had to wander around endlessly) I went in and without having asked for my number to be notified they told me that they had given away my table (to someone who hadn't even booked) in a very careless way as if they were happy to tell me... I won't come back again.

23/11/2024: I had wanted to try Indian cuisine for a long time, I chose this characteristic place, run by extremely kind and friendly staff, they make you feel at home. Excellent food, in my opinion, the curry dishes are better than the tandor ones which are a little too dry. Their bread is delicious and the desserts are also goodies. Small, intimate and quiet place for a Friday evening. Easy to find near the highway exit. I will definitely return

10/03/2025: Beware – They Serve Meat in Vegetarian Orders! I ordered a vegetarian antipasto from Himalayan’s Restaurant, expecting a simple, meat-free dish. What I received was absolutely disgusting—they sent chicken and meat instead! This is not just a mistake; it’s unacceptable and shows a complete lack of care for customers’ dietary choices. If you’re vegetarian or have any dietary restrictions, avoid this place at all costs. Their negligence is appalling, and their food isn’t even good enough to justify the risk. A truly awful experience.

We ordered the panir masala and the garlic naan bread - both delicious, with well-balanced spices and quality ingredients. The portions are generous and the prices are honest for the quality offered. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Indian dining experience. I will definitely come back
