16/02/2026: Came accros this lovely place which was open on a monday lunchtime when many others were shut. I had a chicken curry and it was very nice. They also do pizza and other stuff to. The resturant seating areas are all spaced out nicely and has nice calming music playong while you eat.

29/01/2026: Overall, a very pleasant lunch. I ordered a fish entree, which was very generous and delicious. The staff was very friendly, the service attentive, and the wait time was short. The only flaw was the management of the courses: there were three of us, with two entrees and a pizza, and the pizza arrived well before the other dishes, risking getting cold. I understand the different preparation times, but it would be ideal to have the courses arrive at the same time so everyone could eat at the same time. It's still a place I recommend for its quality and friendly service.

14/12/2025: After many years, Shiva remains my go-to Indian restaurant in Milan because the food is always delicious, the prices are affordable, and the set menus are well-designed (I like both the Shiva and vegetarian menus). Not all the ingredients are top-quality (the menu says the chicken is Aia, and the shrimp don't seem particularly fresh either), but so far I haven't found better Indian cuisine in Milan. The staff are always very friendly, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.

08/03/2026: Unfortunately, last night's experience was very negative. We had a table booked for 9:30 PM, but were seated after 10:00 PM. Despite the delay, the food didn't arrive until around 11:00 PM, with no attention or care shown in the meantime—not even a small courtesy appetizer to apologize for the wait. In the end, we simply ate one dish each (there were three of us) plus a very expensive mini appetizer (€5 for two vegetable rolls), water, and two coffees. Nothing else. When paying, we received no real apology for the inconvenience. We were offered some liqueurs, which we didn't like, but when we asked for even a small discount given the situation, we felt mocking and arrogant, which further worsened the experience. The food wasn't bad, but the service and organization were terrible. And in a restaurant, respect for the paying customer should come before culinary quality. I'm not in the habit of leaving negative reviews, but I believe this incident deserves to be reported. I hope you can address this obvious gap in professionalism and customer service as soon as possible, to avoid further negative publicity.

06/10/2025: This is my first time, i love the food. Specifically, it served South Indian Food. The atmosphere is nice and quiet. The staff (girl) is so helpful in English, because I found it challenging to speak Italian or Malayalam. The chai tea never disappointed!

28/02/2026: A piece of India, right in Vicenza. I came here for lunch with colleagues on the recommendation of one of them, who is originally from India. The atmosphere is spectacular, with sounds, smells, and colors that immediately transport you to a welcoming Indian atmosphere. The waiters are very kind and helpful, and the wide selection of dishes is marked by spiciness (the red hot sauce they bring at the beginning is overwhelming, so be careful). In addition to your order, they bring a trio of sauces (mint yogurt, tamarind, and super hot) and their signature crispy bread (wafer-style, a naan but thinner and crispier). Finally, they bring anise, sugar, cardamom, and fennel to help digest and degrease the palate. Fantastic dishes. We tried several recipes since we were a group of six, and none of them disappointed. It's definitely worth a try. The portions are generous, the prices are excellent, and you leave feeling full and satisfied! We had a reservation, so I have no further information.
