15/05/2025: Let's start with the food, truly EXCELLENT. Both the crudités and the other dishes, all strictly Japanese, are truly noteworthy. Excellent service with very kind staff in the Japanese manner and intent on explaining all the dishes served. The environment is all well-kept, in my opinion it lacks an extra aerator for the extraction of odors, just to be picky. Overall it is truly excellent. Prices worthy of the dish.

25/04/2025: Absolutely outstanding traditional Japanese cuisine. Not your typical sushi restaurant. Also the waiting staff was incredibly accommodating, making our stay feel like we were in Japan.

19/05/2025: Chinese-Japanese restaurant just outside the historic center of Florence, easily accessible from Porta al Prato. Well-furnished and comfortable interior, with good taste. The best thing about the evening was the environment and the service, friendly and relaxed. We had fried prawns (three in number) and vegetables (three in number) well made but in a laughable quantity compared to the price paid. As "first courses" rice with eel and vegetables and noodles with shrimp and tuna. The noodles (soft wheat) were good, despite the small quantity and the little presence of shrimp and vegetables: the flavor was given entirely by the dried tuna. The flavor of the rice was unbalanced (abundant portion), too fatty and sweetish, without a sour/acidic note to break it all up. The eel is served with an excessively sweet sauce and the vegetables are not enough to "degrease". The presence of surimi is INEXPLICABLE, for a restaurant that wants to distinguish itself from the classic Chinese all you can eat. And beware: all the dishes are overloaded with salt. We ended with some mochi, given the scarcity of typical sweets available: particular consistency, pleasant while they are hot, too sticky when they become lukewarm or, worse, cold. Rather poor filling. Friendly service although slow, with the dishes that were brought ten minutes apart from each other, forcing us to share the dishes. Large and clean toilets. Prices clearly above average (drinks first and foremost), in relation to the quality of the food.

22/04/2025: It wasn't just the most delicious sushi I've ever had, it was the most delicious food I've ever eaten. I was especially impressed by the interior. Everything is very authentic, and the owner is very welcoming. I recommend it 1000% P.S. I personally recommend trying the plum wine, it's delicious here

16/04/2025: A memorable lunch with an essential menu. All tasty and particular, but also fresh and enveloping with desserts. Service directly from the chef in a room all to ourselves. Miso ramen: simply perfect. Tonkotsu ramen: white fluid scent, reminiscent of a refined broth of innards. Gyoza: Extremely tasty mix of meat, almost too potent for some of us. The red bean-based desserts are interesting and beautiful. Excellent green tea. Account proportionate to quality. A space stripped of frills with authentic touches. Welcoming staff.

21/05/2025: Sono stato più di una volta in questo ristorante sia in coppia che con amici. I prodotti sono di qualità e il sushi è il migliore nella zona, più buono di quello che si trova in molti ristoranti di Firenze. Ambiente tranquillo e proprietari molto gentili.

What distinguishes this sushi from all other oriental restaurants is the craftsmanship and originality of their dishes! (Don't miss the eel nigiri and the mango roll!)

19/04/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo sushi alla carta per caso qualche tempo fa, e da allora è diventato uno dei nostri punti di riferimento. Il menù offre una buona varietà di piatti, tutti caratterizzati da sapori equilibrati e da materie prime di altissima qualità. Alcuni uramaki spiccano per l’originalità, grazie all’abbinamento con salse create direttamente dalla loro cucina. Ma è soprattutto nei sashimi e, ancor di più, nei nigiri che si percepisce la vera eccellenza: il pesce è sempre freschissimo e selezionato con grande attenzione, e anche il riso – spesso sottovalutato – è lavorato alla perfezione, contribuendo in modo decisivo alla bontà del risultato finale. Non è raro che alcuni ingredienti del menù non siano disponibili (l'orata, ad esempio, è quasi introvabile!), ma è una scelta consapevole e apprezzabile: il gestore preferisce rinunciare a un piatto piuttosto che abbassare i propri standard qualitativi, che sono davvero molto alti. Consigliatissimo!

22/03/2025: Ho provato per la prima volta questo ristorante e sono rimasto positivamente sorpreso. Sushi di ottima qualità e abbinamenti perfetti tra gli ingredienti. Personale efficiente e accogliente, pronto a darti buoni consigli. Posto semplice e ben tenuto al piano terra e saletta intima e caratteristica al piano superiore. Il menù è alla carta ma ne vale la pena, un posto raro rispetto ai soliti e ripetitivi “all you can eat”. Era da tempo che non assaporavo del buon sushi ed è stata una bellissima riscoperta… torneremo sicuramente!

26/05/2025: Premetto che sono una cliente abituale da anni e che molto spesso ho anche approfittato del servizio delivery. Premetto anche che sino ad adesso non ho mai avuto alcun appunto da muovere. L’esperienza dello scorso sabato sera, però, è stata negativa. Non per il cibo, sempre buono, ma per il servizio e i tempi di attesa. Eravamo sei, tre persone sono state servite dopo un’ora che ci eravamo seduti, gli altri tre dopo almeno un’altra mezz’ora. Questo per il ‘primo’ piatto. E poi è occorsa un’altra mezz’ora per tutto il resto. Nel frattempo sono anche arrivati un paio di piatti non destinati a noi, prontamente portati via. Nessuno si è scusato. Il conto, peraltro, è stato particolarmente salato, comparato alle volte precedenti (menù analogo). I prezzi, quindi, sono decisamente molto aumentati. Non ci è stato praticato nessuno sconto, che invece secondo me sarebbe stato dovuto visto l’andamento della serata e non fosse altro che come piccolo gesto di cortesia. La mia impressione è che stiano mettendo a sedere troppa gente rispetto alle capacità della cucina e del personale di servizio.

24/05/2025: Restaurant run by Chinese people, like 99% of the restaurants in Florence. We ate sushi, and as always a disappointment, you can't taste the fish. Now all the "Japanese" restaurants have thrown themselves into these fusion dishes, where they mix fish that tastes like nothing with rice and other ingredients to try to give a flavor that makes sense. The one we usually go to does it quite well, Koko not particularly. The waiters are very kind and go like satellites, but once the dishes were brought they ignored us. Quite an elegant restaurant, but the tables were so crowded that I found out about all my neighbors. I went there because they told me the food was good, but it was absolutely average.

30/04/2025: Cozy, very clean, tidy place. Ideal for couples, very romantic. Very kind staff, fast and discreet service. Really great food. We conveniently booked a table for 2 for dinner via Google, there is parking right in front of the restaurant, we spent 76 euros taking advantage of the all you can eat, 2 bottles of water, jasmine tea and dessert. Overall I am really satisfied. We will be back next month for sure.
