21/03/2026: Restaurant, grill, pizzeria... pay more attention to cooking. Out of three pizzas, one arrived with more than half the cord burned, which unfortunately ruined the flavor of the pizza itself. Prices have gone up, and not by a little. And if you ask to remove an ingredient or add less, you don't have to pay an additional €1. See photo. €1 doesn't change anyone's life, but the principle is flawed. Service needs attention. It's true that the restaurant was full, but not so full that we had to call the waiter for three desserts, after he spent about 40 minutes walking past us, in front of us, and behind us, without even remembering that we were sitting waiting. And seeing four customers seated who arrived after us and left early, oh well, there's definitely something to look at. It's a shame, but over the years it has lost some of its luster and the location needs renovating, not so much the main room, but the adjoining one, with some parts deteriorated or damaged, including several cobwebs on parts with exposed brick walls and beams.

16/02/2026: Good meat restaurant, the pizza looks good too, I'll try it next time. At dinner with a friend, we had some good appetizers. I had an excellent beef carpaccio. The main course was a mixed grill. It's a shame there wasn't any cockerel, which is listed on the menu, but the waiter correctly mentioned it to me when I ordered. Decent wine cellar at a fair price. Good service - the waiter was attentive and kind. Nice atmosphere, but the tables were too close together. Reservations made online through their website with quick response and confirmation. Parking is available on the street or in one of the nearby parking lots.

29/03/2026: In my opinion, this place is among the best in Milan. The cuisine is seemingly simple, but the quality is paramount. Everything is cooked and prepared to perfection, the flavors are delicate, not to mention the tempura... So far, it's the best I've had in every place I've been, and that's for sure! It goes without saying that I'll be back.

16/04/2026: This restaurant is located in the heart of Cologno Monzese. From the outside, it doesn't look inviting, but once inside, the location is worth it, and everything is well-organized. Considering it's an all-you-can-eat restaurant, the quality of the ingredients is good, better than many other restaurants offering the same option in the area. Adequate service, and the speed of takeout orders is truly remarkable. Fairly reasonable prices. Recommended!!!

19/02/2026: I bought a mixed sushi and 4 steamed dumplings on Deliveroo. I waited (I don't care whose fault it was) for 1 hour and 50 minutes, and I spent €33.39! I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions! PS: The packaging was nice, though... too bad it's not edible!

03/05/2026: We went to Poporoya last night at 7:00 PM, drawn by the fame of this historic establishment, Milan's first sushi bar, but unfortunately, the experience was decidedly below expectations. The entry method is disconcerting: a sign outside warns you that you must choose your dishes from the displayed menu and order at the cashier before even being seated. For a restaurant with high-end prices, having to decide "blind" without knowing the quantities or consulting the staff at the table is a questionable choice that certainly penalizes the customer. The decor is minimal, wood with an open kitchen, but the only touches of character are the newspaper clippings on the walls celebrating the restaurant's past (the only thing you can cling to anymore). The quality-price ratio was the biggest sore point: - Mixed Sushi (€19.90): Arrived promptly, it consisted of only 8 pieces decorated with a slice of lemon and a (rather questionable) plastic divider. The quality seemed honestly comparable to that of a regular supermarket or an all-you-can-eat restaurant: the rice was overcooked, and the fish on two nigiri was actually hard to chew. - Hot dishes: We ordered two Katsudon, which were fortunately good, although they were also overpriced for the type of dish (€18, just above average). - Service: Very rushed. We were initially served only one miso soup (despite ordering for two), and the water was served in plastic bottles. As soon as we finished the last bite, the table was cleared so quickly that we almost felt like we were being asked to leave. Furthermore, the waiters had no idea what was being served. It seemed to us that Poporoya is capitalizing on its historic fame, but the current management justifies neither the prices nor the hype surrounding it. We do not recommend it for those looking to enjoy an authentic Japanese dinner.

26/04/2026: We arrived at the restaurant around 2:00 PM. We were greeted and seated (there were two of us). We placed a first order, and once we'd finished, I went to place a second order (the menu was a bit confusing, but I could see why; the selection was extensive and very satisfying). Once I reached the register to place my second order, I was awkwardly and rudely told that the kitchen had closed, only to find that a group of three people next to me had just entered to place their first order. I disagreed; I felt like they were kicking us out because they wanted to close as quickly as possible, and honestly, for a cost of €70 each, I didn't think that was fair. Another waiter, after making my observation, responded by telling me that the restaurant had had the same hours for 50 years. The same waiter, once I sat down at the table and discussed the situation with the person accompanying me, came back to reiterate the point loudly. Unpleasant, very unpleasant. I would have liked to spend more, but I didn't because the situation made me uncomfortable. When I go to a restaurant, especially when I'm spending a considerable amount on lunch, I expect different treatment, and perhaps even to be informed that at a certain time you can only order once. The food is excellent, but it will be the last time I go. Luckily, Milan offers sushi of the same quality, but elsewhere, where the treatment is completely different, more polite and professional.
