03/08/2024: Bel locale storico nel centro di Cividale. Ambiente con una bella atmosfera, personale cordiale. Ottimo il mangiare che spazia dalla carne al pesce. Per un primo (buono), una tartara (ottima) ed un dolce (ottimo) con due birre ed un caffè abbiamo speso €65.
27/07/2024: Le cene al Monastero ci hanno conquistato non solo per l'eccellenza e la qualità della cucina, ma anche per la bellezza degli ambienti, per il servizio in sala e per l'estrema gentilezza della signora Cristina, davvero attenta alle esigenze e al benessere degli ospiti.

25/08/2024: Cena con amici di Cividale durante il Palio di San Donato, quindi oltre alla pizza era previsto un "menù medievale" con piatti tipici. Ottimo il frico con le patate; nel piatto misto medievale non speciale il cinghiale il resto buono. Prezzi più che onesti trattandosi oltretutto una serata di festa con un sacco di gente

16/07/2024: Piatti a base di pesce deliziosi, il sorriso di Sandra sempre pronto ad accogliere al meglio, la cura di Luigino, la professionalità e accortezza dello staff sono grandi qualità che non passano di certo inosservate. Consiglio vivamente questo locale nella splendida Cividale del Friuli.
16/06/2024: No pictures to share, they would not make justice to the food there. We had an extremely pleasant dinner, we appreciated the very attentive, and prepared, service and then of course the food. Would not know what to recommend as everything we tried was good, and the food served to other guest looked the same. Spaghetti with sea urchin, or caserecce with calamari went down well, as well as the monkfish involtini, or the seabream. Excellent wine selection to pair the food.

20/08/2024: When I go to Cividale, I like to go to Cavallino because they have delicious pizza cooked over the fire like in the past, light and digestible.
The girl behind the counter and serving the tables is nice, polite and kind, always nice to exchange a few words in her company.
I also highly recommend it as a restaurant, not just a pizzeria!

Purtroppo non si può esprimere un parere altrettanto positivo sulla pulizia del locale e sulla simpatia dei camerieri, che al nostro arrivo non ci hanno accolto nemmeno con sorriso e ci hanno fatto attendere una decina di minuti prima di accompagnarci ad un tavolo (attesa non dovuta ad un affollamento del locale, ma a scarsa organizzazione e probabilmente mancanza di personale)

They offer a menu of both fish and meat with correct and varied portions. The staff is very welcoming and professional and can give you excellent advice. We will be back for sure.

Siamo stati per la prima volta e ben consigliati.
Siamo stati accolti con cordialità e simpatia.
Abbiamo bevuto un calice di bollicine per poi deviare immediatamente su uno straordinario manzo alla brace servito su un letto di patate al forno, accompagnato da un ottimo vino rosso.
Ambiente non tanto grande, arredato in modo semplice ma molto accogliente...sedie molto comode.
Servizio impeccabile curato da Aicardo, figlio del titolare.
Pane saporito alle cipolle.
Porzioni, finalmente, abbondanti e prezzi decisamente "normali"

23/06/2024: Per festeggiare in famiglia il nostro anniversario di matrimonio abbiamo scelto questo locale perché a conoscenza dell'ottima carne servita. Decisamente le nostre aspettative non sono state disattese. Carni eccezionali condite e cotte alla perfezione!
Affettati davvero buoni ed accompagnati da una chicca che è un pane caldo alla cipolla.
Lo chef consiglia e spiega con amore i vari tipi di carne e i vari condimenti di preparazione, servizio gentile e riservato.
Davvero un ottimo posto che consiglio vivamente.
