12/02/2026: Excellent restaurant, friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff. Very nice, well-kept place, and everything in order. The fireplace in the center of the room is very special. The dishes are exquisite. Excellent mixed cold cuts, exceptional tagliatelle with truffles, mixed porcini mushroom platter 🍄‍🟫 delicious. Very satisfied, definitely recommended. A sure thing. 👏🏻👏🏻

28/01/2026: This restaurant isn't easy to find, as it's tucked away on a quiet street, but once you've discovered it, it's worth it. The atmosphere is that of a classic restaurant, but the dishes are of remarkable quality and reasonably priced. The mushroom or fish tastings are interesting, along with a six-course meal consisting of various dishes.

30/11/2025: The property is in excellent condition, the room immaculate, and the bathroom spotless. Add to that the perfect welcome and excellent breakfast. I hope to have the opportunity to return! Thanks Pomo d'Oro!

08/02/2026: Historic restaurant in Cividale! It was a Sunday in February, and the restaurant was packed. The wait for the appetizer was a bit long; about 40-45 minutes! Too long! Excellent quality dishes featuring typical Friulian cuisine!

25/01/2026: A restaurant just steps from the city's historic center, with a large outdoor area for aperitivo. We went on a Sunday and I must say we had a great time. The menu features mostly traditional Friulian dishes. Service was quick and attentive, considering the restaurant was busy that day. The scoopable gelato served at the end was the icing on the cake. If you go, make sure to try it!

14/03/2026: Excellent! Found by accident when in city. Staff lovely. Let us bring our small paraplegic dog in in his pushchair. Service was rapid and caring. Wonderful varied menu, local dishes, delicious. Local wines great! Charming place, too.

07/03/2026: Charming historic venue, friendly and attentive staff. I definitely recommend the monastery's cjalsons, delicious! I would have preferred the creamed cod crostini warm/tepid, not cold...what a shame.

09/01/2026: We've been eating here for years and have always had a great time. I didn't take any photos, but last time my wife and I had Moroccan lentils, hummus, and pita bread. Everything was excellent. Next time, we'll try the bean stew. See you soon.

14/12/2025: Last night we were a group of 12, unfortunately there were a couple of people who always have something to say or complain about about anything, in this case about a burnt pizza, which wasn't the case. MR. Vincenzo, who proved to be truly great (and I write MR. in capital letters), even though the pizza wasn't burned, he remade it for them, explaining and then demonstrating the various cooking procedures. My wife and I go there often and I can say that we've always had a good experience, and I think that in any place, inconveniences can happen. In conclusion, I recommend everyone, even those just passing through, to stop by and try it. A big THANK YOU to Franca and Vincenzo and all the staff who are kind, attentive, and joking. Oh, and reservations are recommended.

09/12/2025: This place offers traditional dishes with a twist. You may or may not like them, but they're definitely worth the effort. I only had lunch, and I definitely recommend the tagliolini scrigno Bagatto. The plating is impressive, and the ingredients are of high quality.

11/12/2025: While visiting Cividale, I stopped for lunch at this tavern, just steps from the Devil's Bridge and just as close to the Celtic Hypogeum and the Lombard Temple. It's a fantastic location. It was a very pleasant little step back in time. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is very helpful and attentive, and the service is very fast. I had the veal cheeks with mushrooms and polenta. Delicious.

08/12/2025: We stopped for lunch at this trattoria and tried the plate of mixed stuffed tarts and their prosciutto—they were amazing! Then we indulged in the inevitable frico. Everything was delicious. A special mention for the service: there was only one waiter yesterday, and he was truly superb and made us feel truly pampered.

14/03/2026: A quaint and unique location. I really enjoyed the rice arancini, pasta with sardines, and octopus. Quality dishes are prepared with passion by the owner himself, assisted by his skilled staff. The wait staff also works with passion and always has a smile. The wine selection is excellent, both Sicilian and international. Highly recommended.
