30/08/2025: Honestly one of the top gelato’s I’ve ever had. They have many diary free ice cream options, including creamy ones like pistachio that I honestly couldn’t tell the difference. Tried the Dubai chocolate and pistachio which were both amazing. Also very reasonably priced €4 for 2 scoops

08/08/2025: I’m happy that eventually we picket this restaurant among the multiple places around. This is rather a local experience and not a fancy place. The food was excellent. Main dish and the desert as well.

07/08/2025: Excellent traditional cuisine with the occasional little innovation. Wonderfully located by the harbor. Very friendly service. Perhaps the best restaurant in Muggia, especially considering the value for money. The only drawback: unfortunately, you can't get a table without a reservation.

27/08/2025: Very tasty food, large portions, a wonderful view from the restaurant, beautiful surroundings, and plenty of greenery. We ordered the grilled mixed meat and sliced ​​horse meat with ricotta cheese and mushrooms, bread, fries, salad, and drinks. A small downside: After arriving, we sat for 10-15 minutes without the waiter's attention. Overall, I recommend this restaurant.

09/06/2025: Als "Wiederholungstäter" wurden wir auch diesmal wieder nicht enttäuscht. Schöne Terrasse, schönes Lokal, netter und zuvorkommender Service und last but not least viel Gutes aus dem Meer und aus dem Keller. Wenn man in der Umgebung ist, unbedingt ausprobieren. Die Preise sind übrigens der Qualität entsprechend.

05/06/2025: Könnte man mehr Punkte vergeben das Castello hat es mehr als verdient. Wir waren eine Gruppe von sieben Personen Und alle Speisen die serviert wurden waren einfach fantastisch . Das Thunfisch Tatar einfach lecker . Aber auch die Hauptspeisen einfach ein Traum .Mir viel die Auswahl richtig schwer,weil alle Gerichte auf der Karte sehr verlockend klingen . Empfehlen kann man auf jeden Fall das Risotto mit Meeresfrüchten ,aber auch das Rinderfilet war ein Gedicht . Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wieder wenn wir in Muggia sind .

19/08/2025: The view is 10 points out of 10. The service is very kind and the food is of good quality. Parking is a bit tricky, only few places in the yard, the rest remains on the narrow street. Absolutely recommended.

06/10/2025: We stumbled upon this place quite by chance a few nights ago. The place is really cozy and has a wonderful, elegant feel. The food was simply delicious, and the staff was super friendly and very attentive. We really enjoyed our time here. Hopefully, we'll be back soon!

25/09/2025: I went for dinner because I had a €50 discount from a well-known booking app. Honestly, I had high expectations for this place, especially since I've been frequenting Porto San Rocco for a long time as a guest of a shipowner. The entree was brought, but there were no cutlery, and the waiter disappeared. I'd say it turned out to be the best dish. The mussels appetizer had no seafood flavor, and the sauce was practically nonexistent. The spaghetti with clams was far too al dente, needing at least a couple more minutes of cooking, and was very dry. A plate of crudités, which I didn't eat; I was told only the shrimp were up to par. We asked for bread between the first and second courses, but it never arrived. Bottom line: despite the €50 discount, the quality/price ratio was really poor. Definitely not recommended.
