13/01/2026: Unfortunately, things went badly for me. I ordered a pasta dish with mussels. The mussels were awful, perhaps old. I tried four, but they were all inedible. I notified the lady serving the tables, who reported it to the kitchen. I paid the full bill as requested. My impression: high prices for tourists. Maybe I'm too used to dealing with cruise companies.

02/01/2026: Excellent cuisine, very friendly service. Despite the winter weather, we felt very comfortable by the open fireplace. We would gladly return anytime!

08/12/2025: I've been coming to this Osteria since I was little, and the quality of the food has always been high. In my opinion, the best gnocchi in the Trieste area!!

10/11/2025: Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start. I had already asked over the phone to eat outside, but with the option of moving inside in case of bad weather. I was told that wasn't possible. I had also asked about the availability of high chairs for the children, but was told they were all already booked, so we had to bring our own. When we arrived at the restaurant, they sat us at a table without glasses or cutlery, despite having previously informed us that there were six adults, an eight-year-old girl, and three six-month-old babies. The order was taken without a paper menu, everything was spoken verbally, without knowing the prices or the details of the dishes. We asked for a large appetizer, but were brought a small one. The service was slow and confusing, with several errors and delays. When it came to the bill, we found inconsistencies: a cover charge had been charged even for the infants (who ate only baby food brought from home) and additional side dishes had never been ordered. After we reported it, we were refunded €8 in cash, but soon afterward, in the parking lot, they approached us and charged us another €18, due to their mistake on the "Lubianske" (Libianske) lines. Overall, a poorly organized experience, with little clarity, confusing management, and rude attitudes. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but the service and customer management were truly disappointing.

18/01/2026: As I've already written, Silvia's is always a great place to be. The food and pizza are excellent, and the service is fast and perfect, even when the place is packed. The karaoke on Friday nights is a great way to get together, sing, and laugh together.

05/11/2025: Small truck parking lot, at 5 pm there are no more places, toilets... acceptable, there is also a shower and a washing machine and dryer

31/10/2025: If you manage to stay at 45, there's a good hot shower, a decent toilet, and a 20-minute walk to the sea. There's a room with a washing machine (10 euros) and coffee makers for 1 euro. My colleagues might be unlucky, but they always gave me the keys to the shower in exchange for an ID card.

10/11/2025: Ice cream at €27 per kilo in November seems excessive to me. At an ice cream shop in Montecavolo, while cycling by, I read they sell it for €19 per kilo.

19/08/2025: A simply exceptional gelateria! The gelato is among the best I've ever tasted: creamy, delicious, and made with quality ingredients. Every flavor is a discovery! But what makes this place truly special are the owners: kind, welcoming, and always smiling. Over time, they've become much more than acquaintances... they're like a second family. Visiting them is not only a pleasure for the palate, but also for the heart. Highly recommended!

15/08/2025: The food and wine were delicious, from cured meats to cheeses and red wine. The owners were also exceptional and offered us tips for our visit to the Aurisina area. We returned several times during our stay.

24/07/2025: He didn't accept debit cards, saying that banks are already rich enough (as good customers, we didn't argue). Upon leaving, we noticed that he'd charged us for an extra beer on the receipt. Hard to go wrong with just two drinks. One star because zero isn't allowed.

25/01/2026: The fresh fish (catch of the day) was very good, but we weren't given the weight despite asking twice. The potatoes that accompanied it were inedible. The cover charge (€3.20) was excessive for the service we received (three slices of bread without breadsticks, paper napkins, no change of cutlery between courses, no condiments provided). The cleanliness needs updating... the light bulb and chandelier were full of flies/spiders. The sea view was superb.

25/10/2025: No heating in October! It was freezing cold in the room. All they gave us was a horrible, scratchy wool blanket!

06/10/2025: This hotel sucks. The staff is incompetent, rude, dirty, and RACIST. I recommend not staying here because it was TERRIBLE, especially the owner, who should be ashamed. Go to another hotel, trust this review.

07/10/2025: The outdoor pergola is its most distinctive and distinctive feature. Relaxing in a place open to the public has become a real challenge these days. Here, in this truly unique venue, thanks to its inexplicable simplicity, you can truly understand the meaning of the words quiet and inner peace. It's a combination of various factors that creates this ability to offer relaxation, among which I cannot exclude the attention to small details and the welcoming nature of the place, that is, the ability to make guests feel at ease. Thank you, Mario, for your manners and the professionalism that distinguish you. Your venue is a gem in an area where standing out is truly challenging. I recommend an aperitif on a summer or spring day, sitting outside in the pergola.

29/09/2025: A friendly little bar where you won't get ripped off on the prices. For a round of drinks, we paid 12 euros. One Prosecco, one Coke, and two draft beers. See, that's more than reasonable. Not a tourist trap. Friendly welcome.

19/09/2025: 10/1000*** the best little place to eat! The vine is so good and the food! Amazing! The people are really kind. I would absolutely recommend this place! Good prices too.

21/08/2025: I wouldn't recommend it. Pizza was perfectly fine! Caesar salad... not. Dressing was from a packet, and only oil and balsamic vinegar. The turkey inside was pre-cooked, not freshly cooked, and gave me a stomach-ache vibe.
