21/02/2026: The mussels were awful!!! They smelled of mud, were rubbery, the sauce was salty and just water—no garlic, spices, or wine—a disaster!!! The service was very friendly, the wait was short, and they were beautifully presented—that's why I didn't give them a 1.

For me, Paninoteca alla Stazione is one of them. It's the place I go when I want a "serious" sandwich, the kind that truly satisfies you without too many words. ​Because it's a guarantee ​Don't be fooled by the fact that it's close to the bus station: it's not your typical walk-in bar. Here, sandwiches are something else. ​The Bread: Always fresh, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, heated to perfection. ​The Filling: Here, no expense is spared. Whether it's a classic with quality cured meats or something more elaborate, you can taste that the ingredients are carefully selected. It's the typical, all-in-one sandwich that will make your day, whether for a quick lunch or a quick snack. ​The "homey" atmosphere ​I always enjoy going here because the atmosphere is just right: casual, down-to-earth, and no-frills. The staff is quick, helpful, and always welcoming. It's the classic bar where you'd happily stop for a glass of wine or a coffee, but then the smell of the grill makes you want to order something to eat. ​The local verdict ​If you're in Grado, you know what I'm talking about: it's been a trusted favorite for years. If you're passing through and looking for an honest place where you can eat well and affordably, stop here. There's no need to search downtown for anything special when you have such quality at your fingertips. ​My advice: It's the perfect place for when you're suddenly hungry and want a sandwich that tastes good, made fresh, just right.

11/11/2025: Great hotel right in the lower part of the town center, and on the second row from the Esplanade. Therefore, it's a bit quieter than directly on the Esplanade. Great breakfast and very friendly service. The reception and staff were all very helpful. The rooms were okay for the mid-range price. Unfortunately, what seems to be common everywhere in Grado (I don't know if it's the same in all of Italy) is that the showers are very cramped! As a normal, tall man, I had some trouble fitting in! Mini-golf is right nearby, and the nightlife is practically just around the corner. For children, the beach is really the only option; for more action, you have to drive quite a bit. Otherwise, pretty much every restaurant in this little town can be recommended.

24/10/2025: A highly recommended hotel in the heart of Grado. Everything is within walking distance. The breakfast is exceptionally good. They only improve the coffee in the bar.

03/06/2026: Excellent Sorrentine pizza (different from the Neapolitan version), very crispy and made with carefully selected ingredients. Truly sublime cured meats (we tried the prosciutto and it melted in our mouths). The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff friendly and helpful, and the price-quality ratio is excellent. Recommended for a simple, authentic evening.

09/05/2026: The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, and you can feel the passion of this family-run business. The products are uniquely delicious. A little corner of authentic sweetness, ideal for those seeking quality. Definitely worth a try!

07/05/2026: The hotel and rooms were clean, although some of the furnishings were a bit dated, which suited the space. The swimming pool was lovely, but the water was a little too cold for me and much too cold for my wife! The bar had a nice atmosphere, but the prices were too high for us, which was a shame.

07/05/2026: The hotel is centrally located, and all the main attractions are easily accessible. The staff is very friendly, and the hotel is very clean. 👍 Good and plentiful breakfast. Tip...reserve a garage parking space! We'd love to come back again. 😀

27/09/2025: A wonderful place! Fresh, delicious food, perfect for lunch on the beach! Salads, sandwiches, and menu items, all prepared fresh. Delicious coffee! We always stop by when we're at the beach. Reasonable prices.

25/09/2025: Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired. It's self-service, but they don't wash the coffee cups—cappuccinos are left stacked on part of the counter, and sometimes in the packaged ice cream cooler. They then use plastic buckets where the drink cools down immediately. The food is also well-made and reasonably priced, but the wait is sometimes exaggerated. It lacks organization and order. Ouch!

17/05/2026: Less frequented by tourists. The food was good; we were just surprised to receive both the starter and main course at once.

25/01/2026: I wanted to book a table for four for this evening (Google says open from 6 PM). The number is unreachable. Walking past, it seems closed, and the bar next door confirmed it's closed. What a shame. Response to the owner No keyboard warriors. All it would have taken was a sign on the door and a temporary closure on Google, and there would have been no problem. There's no need to respond rudely. I didn't offend anyone. Should I have given 3 stars out of complacency? Offended? Not even a little bit. Anyway, if I pass through Grado again, I'll let the bartender know. And maybe I'll be able to eat at your place. PS. It still appears to me today that you'll be open tonight. If I may offer some advice, just change the hours on Google as easily as possible. No offense, of course.
