08/07/2025: From first to last moment was everything perfect ! Food was traditional and simple but with high quality. Flavours play together and we felt spoiled. Service was polite and helpful. Waitress help us to choose right wine for our dishes and desserts was also very very good. I really appreciate fresh homemade bread we get and starter (fried zucchini with anchovy sauce)! I will recomended this restaurant to all People. (They had the best Vanilla ice cream I ate in my life ) Thank you again 💚🤍❤️

08/07/2025: A very pleasant atmosphere, very friendly waiters, and excellent food – traditional Italian but with that certain something. A big plus is that the restaurant is also open in the afternoon, if you want to have a later lunch or an earlier dinner... highly recommended!

07/07/2025: Loved the food! San Daniel ham is a must have, rabbit was super tender, fish dishes were perfect, bean soup excellent and heavy as it should be… and best tiramisu in town! Wine cart is affordable and strongly representative of local wines!

24/06/2025: Good food. The first time we were 4 people and a first course arrived after everyone had finished eating. The waiter was very apologetic. The second time we were 5 and since 3 people had ordered a first course and 2 a second course (same second course) we asked if it was possible for the courses to arrive all together and we were told that it was impossible. The waiting time for coffee was really excessive...we had to ask for it 3 times.

05/07/2025: We spent a nice evening in this restaurant. Very attentive waiters. They immediately offered us champagne and a small appetizer as a "welcome". We took a "tris" for antipasti, two main courses, two glasses of wine and sorbet. The trio for an appetizer also included alici. I'm sorry, but this is the only dish that I didn't like at all. The fish was loose and not tasty. But for the second course, the lamb baked in the oven was simply magnificent! Very tasty, melted in the mouth. The roe deer meat was also very tasty. We were pleasantly surprised by the compliment from the restaurant in the form of sweet wine and sweets. A very good Merlot wine. But the Refosque was not so good. But this of course depends on personal taste. Overall, everything went great.

28/05/2025: We had lunch at the restaurant on the occasion of a family ceremony. The food was very good and the service was efficient and fast, the place was a bit small and undersized compared to the amount of seats set up.

22/04/2025: Recensione Ristorante "Al Dolcenero" – San Daniele del Friuli. Se passate da San Daniele del Friuli e cercate un posto dove mangiare bene senza spendere una follia, "Al Dolcenero" è una tappa obbligata. L’ambiente è accogliente e curato, perfetto sia per un pranzo veloce che per una cena rilassata. Uno dei punti forti sono sicuramente i primi piatti a 10 euro: porzioni generose, ingredienti di qualità e una preparazione che rispetta la tradizione friulana. Un rapporto qualità-prezzo davvero difficile da battere in zona. Ma il vero colpo di scena arriva già con l’antipasto: crudo Camarin stagionato 36 mesi, affettato al momento, profumatissimo e dal gusto pieno e rotondo. Nel complesso, un’esperienza più che positiva. Ottimo cibo, prezzi giusti e un servizio gentile. Consigliato.

26/06/2025: If you don't know it, it's hard to find, but if you stop by you won't do any harm. Simple dishes, like they used to make, and good quality products. I especially appreciated the burratina, which, although not a local product, was very fresh and delicate.

19/06/2025: I was able to try almost everything, from appetizers to desserts. Everything was very much appreciated. Quantity and price were normal; kindness and friendliness of the staff. There are many seats available. I will definitely go back.

23/05/2025: Very nice restaurant in Trieste where you can eat Friulian cuisine. The food is very good, even though we had to wait over an hour for our first courses. The cjarsons were a little below expectations because their version seems to be completely lacking cinnamon, which is precisely the component that makes them special. It's also a shame about the Turkish toilet, given the profile of the restaurant, I would have expected a toilet with a water closet.

The outdoor space is beautiful with a breathtaking view, the interior is equally beautiful We ate very well Simple dishes but made with mastery The service is impeccable Highly recommended.
