05/04/2024: Nice place in Trieste. The pizza is quite tasty and the restaurant is well kept and modern. The service was on the slower side, hence the 4 stars. I really enjoyed my pizza, it was very authentic, you can tell that they used quality ingredients. I would recommend!

We tried the fish: including the truly exceptional spaghetti allo scoglio, the good Adriatic starter and the average mixed grill, nothing special. Attentive and fast service. Fair price and ample reserved parking.

29/03/2024: Great variety of dishes and choice, excellent quality of products, price, "if you know how to choose", good. There is a menu for workers with various very good choices at €15 per person while the children's menu costs €12. According to the menu, the pizza is made in the evening and not at lunch. Overall, if you pass through Pordenone, you can't help but stop. I definitely recommend it!

30/03/2024: Very good pizza. We came on a Saturday evening without a reservation, despite being very busy, and after a while we were given a table and our order. Interestingly, the place was the only one bursting at the seams, while the others were empty.

02/04/2024: On my birthday my family took me to party at the Ancona Due restaurant in Udine and everything was perfect. The staff is kind (especially Mr. Giovanni), respectful, quick, the food is plentiful and the prices are honest... What more could you want? Only to return to savor always surprising dishes in a welcoming and refined environment.

06/04/2024: Simply one of the best Italian restaurants we have been to. The touch of our South was all there, the people of unique kindness and professionalism. Sublime dishes, exquisite, rich and with an artistic touch. Quiet and welcoming environment. A truly perfect dinner! The delicious tartares! The pistachio tiramisu is a must try!

04/04/2024: Had dinner on Easter Monday for two.....we didn't know the place on the seafront in Trieste and we booked following the reviews as it was indicated as a "romantic restaurant" Joia is managed by a group of young girls who express desire but still have to grow in experience to reach what the customer expects. The place is small and the tables are small and close together, therefore penalizing the mise en place which is more like a place where oriental cuisine such as sushi is served... it is a current trend that I personally don't agree with when the costs are not cheap. A piece of furniture that is perhaps a little kitsch which contributes to giving a feeling of smallness without expressing a defined entity. The service is fast and the good dishes demonstrate attention from the chef..... this is a plus The cellar is well-stocked on the card but by chance the chosen bottle of bubbles was not available and we opted for a more "normal" Franciacorta which was unfortunately served for tasting at room temperature.... the sommelier still needs to gain experience in the service. However, a place that has potential, which needs to gain experience and pay more attention to the service. Overall rating 3.5⭐
