Very good cuisine and great service. Prices ok

We stopped on Easter Monday and tried some Trieste specialities, cooked ham and kren with mustard, excellent meatballs, with ham and vegetables, we tried tripe and Vicenza-style cod... nothing to say, the only precisely the gnocchi with goulash which had a sauce that was too liquid.... still a recommended place!

Good food, shame about the narrow spaces that don't allow you to eat comfortably.

Tonight at the Siora Rosa here I am, immersed in the heart of Trieste, in a corner that speaks the language of authentic taste... I arrived at the Siora Rosa Buffet with a small hint of doubt, still burned by the latest culinary disappointment not to mention... a great stumble.... The single dish to share, a true embrace of flavours, delighted the palate in ways that only the heart could imagine. Abundant and richly flavored meatballs, so much so that they tempt you to take a second taste and yet another, like the lines of a poem that you never tire of repeating. The Sardoni, dancing with the red onions, gave a whisper of the sea, while the sautéed aubergines told stories of land and sun, like old tales handed down from generation to generation. But it was with the potatoes in the pan and the sauerkraut that I felt the call of the roots, the call of a past that makes itself present in the flavors that intertwine like threads of an ancient cloth. Here, at Siora Rosa, the raw material speaks the language of memory, of memories that are present in the pleasure of every bite. May Siora Rosa's Buffet be a journey into authentic flavours, an ode to culinary tradition that resonates in the hearts and senses of those who know how to appreciate the value of simple things, genuine gestures and the emotions that hide behind every dish. Excellent typical Trieste cuisine, quick and efficient service. I only recommend booking in advance, as the place is usually fully booked. I highly recommend the sausages with horseradish. 5/5 stars

Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't live up to its promise according to reviews. We were a bit disappointed with the quality of the cuisine and the ambience. Definitely a bit overrated.

5 stars well deserved. Very kind staff, very good traditional dishes, generous portions, well-kept environment, even the bathroom is clean, and that's not to be taken for granted given that the place is always full. Compliments.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante “buffet” triestino ed abbiamo gustato crostini, gnocchi di susine e carré affumicato con cren senape e crauti. Tutto sicuramente di buona qualità ma nulla che ci abbia lasciato a bocca aperta. Segnalo la grande gentilezza del personale.

…nella forma e nella sostanza! Il menù è prevalentemente a base di maiale e i piatti sono quelli tipici della tradizione triestina con influenza austriaca. Gustose le polpette e buono il cotto in crosta di pane (non aspettatevi però il pane servito nel piatto :)). Personale molto gentile e prezzi piuttosto popolari (fortunatamente!).
