We stopped in for a drink and a lite bite while walking back to our apartment. The lovely lady behind the bar gave us a really fun tasting of three local wines and the aubergine dish was out of this world. A simple place but very warm and welcoming.

Excellent location in the center of Trieste, excellent traditional food served very quickly. The staff is incredibly courteous and friendly, ready to accommodate every guest's request. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to feel pampered in a relaxed yet well-kept place.

Ambience right in the heart of Trieste! They serve traditional dishes, not particularly sophisticated, but for a quick lunch it's more than excellent and convenient. The service is fast and the staff are very friendly! The meatballs are top-notch, and I recommend the gratin artichokes.

14/04/2026: Perfect food, incredible flavors and very nice wine.
13/04/2026: Favourite meal I had while in Trieste at this traditional trattoria. Everything we ordered was delicious - boiled meat platter for 2, veal schnitzel & gnocchi with goulash in pictures. Very reasonably priced at €90 including a carafe of house white wine (a lot of food for 2 people but we wanted to try everything!). The restaurant was very quiet at lunchtime on a Thursday, we walked in without a reservation.
