05/01/2026: I must preface this by saying that I'm one of those people who tried and appreciated the old rustica pizza, considering it the best pizza by the slice I've ever tasted. Maybe it's been 50 years... I returned and found a completely renovated environment, welcoming and convenient for those who want to eat in (impossible at the time). The pizza isn't bad; in fact, it remains one of the best. Endless variety and combinations. I liked the staff: two friendly, fast, and knowledgeable girls. The pizza is enjoyable to eat even when cold or reheated. Prices... Certainly not cheap, but not outrageous either. Better go back before all these years pass.

20/12/2025: When you come to this country farmhouse, it doesn't feel like a restaurant, but rather like home. The cuisine has a traditional family flavor, and every dish conveys the history of this place with the same passion as always. There's no room for modernity; the anchovies are among the best I've ever eaten, the red risotto with clams is a dream, and the snails take you back to the flavors of Sunday family dinners. You enter through the kitchen, where everything begins, and you always leave through the kitchen, where everything ends. The service is attentive and courteous. No fuss, no cupboards overflowing with dishes and genuine wine from the hills, white or red! Tavern-style glasses, grandmother's dishes, and bland bread for the obligatory mopping up of the sardine sauce. If you're looking for substance and freshness, you must stop here and let yourself be guided through the menu, which is fixed and unvaried, yet astonishing in its deliciousness and simplicity. An evening concluded with a Romagna ciambella and a chat in the kitchen before reluctantly saying goodbye, knowing it would be a goodbye. Thank you Manuela for carrying on the tradition with all your love ❤️
17/10/2025: At Gino il Matto, Thursday evenings have a one-stop menu... you can eat grilled sardines and risotto alle poveracce... as much as you want!! Everything is excellent! Oh, and there's even a donut at the end! The only downside is there's no piadina... But still, the bread is excellent!!!

05/01/2026: Roman pizzas aren't that good! MORE!! I haven't had such a good slice of pizza in years. I was passing through Santarcangelo, but if I ever come back, I know where to refuel.
28/12/2025: Rude and they don't respect orders taken 24 hours before and they leave you out in the cold telling you to wait 10 minutes since you're in a wheelchair you can wait while I still have to make your pizzas... I'll start by saying that I called yesterday in the afternoon (27/12) to order a large pan of Roman Margherita and a large pan of stuffed Roman, so a nice order but evidently they don't need to earn money.

09/08/2025: Unmissable I was greeted with exquisite kindness and expertise. I sampled various local dishes. The Catalana made with skate wings was wonderful, the porchetta was tender and succulent, and even the fresh cheeses, usually tasteless, were delightful! To accompany everything, an excellent piadina and the owner's smile. The setting is unique: a tower with an underground cellar you can visit, keeping it cool even in the height of summer. Finally, the prices are very fair. I'd send a few restaurateurs from a northern city (which I won't name, but it's clear from my profile) for a crash course! Not to be missed.
20/07/2025: I'm giving it two stars only because the interior is charming and quaint, while the outdoor seating is right on Verucchio's main square. The prices are too high for the amount of food served. It's a shame because I had high expectations based on the reviews and the website. We won't be returning.

16/01/2026: I wanted to start by saying that it was my first time on a Saturday night at the venue, so I saw live waiters. In this review, I'll only talk about the show, since, as I've said several times, the food is always excellent. 10 minutes after I finished my bruco sandwich, the lights went out, and I immediately felt transported to a magnificent and surprising atmosphere (it felt like being at the theater). I don't want to give you any spoilers; I'll just leave you with a photo I took during the show.

12/12/2025: We've been here five times already, and I was really looking forward to dining with you again. I praised you to my family. Then came the disappointing realization that something had changed. The food and plates were cold, and the vegetables arrived with the steak far too late. However, the steak itself was very good, apart from being almost cold.

27/09/2025: A charming place, but in free fall. It was definitely the best when it opened. The pool was huge but unusable, and the outdoor furniture needed replacing. The rooms were large and comfortable, but several things needed updating, including a half-broken outdoor table. The breakfast room, perhaps the only redeeming feature, was bright and clean, well-managed with class and professionalism by Tania and Melissa. The breakfast was complete, both sweet and savory, and the food was decent. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Golf lovers will have a great time here. I wouldn't return, under any circumstances.

16/09/2025: Very beautiful and well-kept place. I went for dinner with my girlfriend and we had delicious, fresh fish. Highly recommended for a different and enjoyable evening. The staff are very courteous and attentive to their every need.
15/09/2025: A very nice restaurant, located on the seafront (with some tables set on the sand) and with a lovely atmosphere, thanks in part to the fairy lights everywhere. I found the fish to be of good quality, cooked just as well. The prices were absolutely fair. I would go back, and I highly recommend it.

03/01/2026: I tried it on New Year's Eve with the set menu. I enjoyed it because it was New Year's Eve, but I'm not reviewing the menu or service. Since the restaurant received a snide response, I'd point out that the paper plates, paper tablecloth and napkins, table settings, restrooms, and the amount of food consumed prevent me from giving more than 3 stars. The staff was friendly, which is what made me choose this rating. I didn't give stars to the food, service, or atmosphere because the evening of December 31st was unusual. For a true assessment, you'll need to try it on a normal day. I'll be back.
25/12/2025: It's cold and even though there aren't many people around, the sound of voices echoes... I think it's the tarpaulin's fault to protect from the cold outside...

Best kebab pizza

22/07/2025: It’s not every day that you come across a kebab that comes close to the divine. But today was one of those days when you walk off the street corner slightly surprised, slightly confused and very full. I found myself in front of a small, slightly run-down kebab grill, the kind of place that almost seems too anonymous to have anything special to offer. But as so often before, those humble places hide big surprises. And this time it was a juicy, spicy, almost perfect kebab – albeit with a few noticeable blemishes that dragged it down from a potential top score. Let’s start with the most important thing: the taste. The meat. Oh, the meat. It was grilled to perfection – dark and slightly crispy on the edges, but still juicy and full of flavour. It was clear that this wasn’t just any frozen block of meat cut from the machine; it had been pampered. The taste was of marinade, perhaps yogurt, lemon, garlic and a well-balanced mix of Middle Eastern spices. It tasted homemade, and it tasted of love. The bread, a warm and lightly grilled flatbread (perhaps a dürüm or a homemade pita), had just the right combination of chewiness and crispiness. It mostly held things together – but here we also come to the first small disappointment. The construction. The kebab was, as we say in good Danish, tap. Not in the sense of tasteless – quite the opposite – but in the sense that it was a little sloppily assembled. The filling hung over the edges, the dressing was plentiful (which in itself is not a bad thing!), but it was not distributed evenly. The result? A kebab that starts with pure perfection, but ends as a messy affair, where halfway through you sit with greasy fingers, dripping sauce and small pieces escaping from the bread. The salad was fresh, though. Crisp iceberg, thinly sliced red onions, tangy cucumbers, and a discreet handful of tomatoes provided the necessary acidity and texture. And here's a real highlight: the chili dressing was excellent—intense but not overwhelming, with a heat that built without burning the palate away. The garlic sauce was creamy and rich, though a little too heavy at the bottom. But then there was this sloppiness. It's a bit like being served a perfectly grilled steak—on a paper plate that collapses under the weight. It all tastes wonderful, but you spend more time balancing, wiping your mouth, and saving lost fillings than you do just enjoying the experience. The service? Friendly and efficient. I felt welcome, and the food was prepared with visible care. Nothing was spared, and that's always a plus. The portion was more than ample—so large that it was almost a physical challenge to finish it. I managed it (of course), but it required concentration. Conclusion: This kebab was a reminder of why street food can still be one of the most satisfying food experiences of all. The taste was spot on, the quality was high, and you could tell that everything had been thought through – from the seasoning of the meat to the choice of fresh vegetables and sauces with a twist. But unfortunately, the overall impression was dragged down by the practicality. A kebab should be edible. And when it ends up being more of a struggle than a pleasure, you lose a bit of the magic.

27/12/2025: Well what can I say, the pizza is good, it's not bad, but the problem is something else. Basically, me and other people have had ayce pizza where the first 2 pans were stuffed and that's all good, but then another 4 pans arrive, all margheritas, and then we decided to continue with a last pan hoping it was stuffed, it was a margherita with some arugula on top, hahahaha, well, after we asked if there were other pizzas stuffed with something, but they told us they would all be margheritas, so in the end we decided to stop because I would have preferred at least another stuffed pizza instead of another margherita, but come on, the place isn't bad, the service isn't bad either, so I'll give it 3 stars (obviously I'm only talking about the ayce pizza, so I'll come back to try the burger and carbonara ones)🙌
