08/03/2026: Ristorante Cattini is located in a hidden green area in the hamlet of l'Orologia in Quattro Castella.
The interior dining room is medium-sized and very quaint.
The staff is professional and friendly.
The menu features a few traditional dishes at reasonable prices for the quantity/quality offered, and there's a wide selection of wines.
Their strong point is the variety of boiled and roast meats from the cart, served freshly to each diner.
The zuppa inglese is truly delicious.
The bathrooms are clean, despite the squat toilet in the women's room, which isn't ideal for everyone.
Outside, there's a small play area and a patio with some seating.
27/02/2026: A place that's one of my favorites, where time has stood still for a few years in favor of substance. The first courses are good, and the roasts and boiled meats are expertly cooked.
If I ever come back to the area,
I'll definitely return.

The food was delicious and the value was excellent.
Recommended!

It's a shame about the wine; I ordered the Arsan Lambrusco and wasn't thrilled.

17/01/2026: Tre Tenori is a quaint two-story restaurant with a picturesque view of Bianello Castle and the hills of Quattro Castella, among other things.
It offers a modern menu with some traditional dishes and some more innovative ones, with reasonable prices for the quality. Excellent desserts.
The wine list features many quality options.
Professional and friendly staff.
04/01/2026: We arrived by chance and were greeted with a wonderful welcome, even for our two dogs! We had lunch in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere: the owner explained and recommended some wonderful dishes, from appetizer to dessert, a triumph of authentic and intense flavors. Congratulations and thanks from the four Franciacorta campers, Lucilla, Luisa, Gio, and Francesco.

05/10/2025: Excellent food, wonderful hospitality! A perfect place for families with children: the experience with the donkeys is unique, as is the contact with nature and the beautiful landscapes. The care taken with the donkeys and the green spaces demonstrates the great management behind it. Congratulations!

21/10/2025: A very beautiful park, partly grassy and partly wooded, with a picnic and barbecue area. It sits on top of a hill, offering beautiful views of both the Reggio Emilia plain and the hills towards the Apennines. There's also a bar/restaurant. The only downside is the outdoor restrooms, which are in absolutely TERRIBLE condition, clearly not cleaned in a while and full of cobwebs. The outdoor restroom next to the bar (which isn't actually part of the bar, I understand) also wasn't very nice, even though it was morning and the park was still mostly empty. Otherwise, it's definitely worth a visit; it's a beautiful oasis just a short distance from Reggio Emilia. Five stars for the park, one star for the restrooms.

24/12/2025: I used to live a few hundred meters away and had been there many times.
I returned recently and found the same welcome and the same quality. I recommend the fish, especially the Taranto-style mussels and a stew (I won't mention the name) that they serve as an appetizer. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly but not intrusive.
12/10/2025: Everything is excellent: the food, the atmosphere, the location...but above all the service. Superlative.
