22/02/2024: Locale ordinato e pulito, ricavato da abitazione. Stanze piccole e affollate, posti vicinissimi. Interessante antipasto di sottoli. Prosciutto buono, salame e coppa molto secchi. Torta fritta non era uscita molto bene risultando piuttosto gommosa. Bene i primi piatti, forse punto forte. Purtroppo non fanno nessun secondo. Servizio e accoglienza da migliorare. 19/03/2024: First time in Piacenza and I'm happy to have found this very hospitable place. Customer friendly and friendly service. They brought us a very delicious small welcome appetizer, then we had a platter of local cured meats and a first course and they were out of this world. I also recommend you try their desserts. If you pass through Piacenza, stop by this typical wine shop with an excellent quality-price ratio.

03/04/2024: We come to Montichiari to take a leap into the past... for the environment, the traditional cuisine and the cheerfulness of the owners. Everything was excellent... we will definitely be back

01/04/2024: Excellent restaurant where we were able to taste fried dumplings with cured meats, excellent ravioli, a good risotto, pisarei with beans and tomato, grilled meat, braised meat and lamb, the desserts are on the buffet, the very friendly manager entertains customers with his jokes , like draft beer, running water and brandy, the bitters produced by them are very good. We will definitely return.

25/03/2024: A fantastic Sunday for my wife Patrizia's birthday, if it were possible I would give 6 stars, everything from the fabulous food to the delightful welcome, for my next lunch we will undoubtedly return.

24/03/2024: We always drive up to this pizza place during our summer break. The setting is gorgeous, the prices on the food quite reasonable. The pizzas used to be better, but this year we found them to always be slightly over cooked and burnt around the edges. I am sure that this will be corrected soon enough. We always enjoy this place so much that we overlooked this little detail and had a great meal!

02/04/2024: Excellent food, excellent quality cured meats and cheeses, not to mention the snails, all cooked and plated with care, even the desserts are excellent. Compliments to the Sala staff with impeccable service. I will return as soon as possible.

02/04/2024: Attratti dalle buone recensioni, sabato 9 marzo scorso io e mia moglie siamo entrati in questa trattoria carichi di grandi aspettative e… dopo aver mangiato ne siamo usciti, come si suole dire, “con le pive nel sacco” Non abbiamo fatto un pranzo completo, ma ci siamo limitati a consumare due piatti che si possono definire “classici” nel piacentino: un antipasto di salumi e, come primo piatto dei tradizionali tortelli con la coda. Sul salume nulla da dire solo che la quantità non si poteva certo definire generosa ma alquanto misurata con grande parsimonia. Per quanto riguarda invece i tortelli la situazione qualità/quantità si era invertita: un piatto abbondante e una qualità scadente… tra i meno buoni mangiati nel piacentino. Essendo la sfoglia poco sottile si sentiva il duro dell’’intreccio della coda. Solo per quest’ultimo motivo, ovvero mancare su un piatto tipico della cucina piacentina, è, a mio avviso, abbastanza grave… gravità inasprita dal conto finale non certo tenero e sicuramente eccessivo per una realtà che si vuol definire trattoria… sarà forse perché è “antica”?
