13/08/2025: When we travel in the area, it's become a must-visit. Excellent selection of Parma ham and mountain Parmigiano Reggiano. The first courses and desserts are also delicious. Everything is made according to tradition. It's a pleasure to spend some time with the Ugolotti family, who passionately explain their products.
02/08/2025: We ordered platters of cured meats and cheeses, polenta, and torta fritta. The first words that come to mind are "what a spectacle, a riot of flavors!" We ate REAL prosciutto cured for 34 months (the Parma is actually from Langhirano)!! The salami was also delicious. Not to mention the 40-month-aged parmesan. A very good and truly enjoyable lunch with the owner, who shared his story with us. If you're in the Parma and castle area, stop by—you won't be disappointed.

Lamb ribs, perfectly flavored and melting in your mouth, Marcello vintage that pairs perfectly with the meat, creating a balance of flavors, and last but not least, a sublime chocolate cake (the cake has a bold dark chocolate flavor accompanied by fluffy flakes of whipped cream and fresh, sweet strawberry flakes). TOP!

The food is excellent and the service is friendly.
We've only eaten there once.
Be aware that it's not an all-you-can-eat place.
We usually get takeout.
We discovered them during COVID when everything was closed, and we've never left since.
The owner, Jessica, is very friendly and attentive to your needs.
I absolutely recommend them.

06/07/2025: Congratulations! Excellent food and a really pleasant atmosphere, not to mention the attentive and friendly service. We ate the typical fried cake with mixed cold cuts, polenta sticks and pumpkin domes, then we moved on to the first courses where I was served a risotto with lambrusco and culatello that would make your head spin, truly excellent! Unfortunately I was full, otherwise I would have gladly tried a dessert, the choice was truly tempting. Congratulations again, a highly recommended place!

07/06/2025: Maddalena is a fantastic woman, her dishes are excellent, she welcomed us on a Sunday for lunch, we felt like family, pampered from the appetizer to the dessert that she made especially for us to introduce us to a delicacy from her homeland, the dishes were more than abundant, the girl who took care of our table was ready and friendly in serving us, a truly beautiful experience, we highly recommend it. 10/08/2025: The terrace is under new management, and to my great surprise, I found Giancarlo as the owner and Giuseppe, whom I've known for many years, as the chef.
Their cuisine is always a guarantee; if you want to eat fish (especially raw fish) just outside the city center, you have to go!
Top-notch cuisine, in a location worthy of the food.

05/08/2025: Beautiful location, terrible food, and disastrous management.
The location is truly beautiful, well-kept, and has a promising atmosphere. But it's just smoke and mirrors, because everything else leaves much to be desired.
I ordered a seafood salad: the octopus was rubbery, hard to chew, and overall the dish was flat (pardon the pun), tasteless, and poorly presented, as if it had been thrown there by accident.
The place was half empty, yet the wait was interminable. Four people were clearly visible in the kitchen, but the service was incredibly slow.
To make matters worse, there was a child who kept diving into the pool without anyone saying anything. No supervision, no responsibility. What if he gets hurt?
Meanwhile, the kitchen staff were freely coming and going from the room, sitting at tables, taking breaks as if they were the customers. Zero professionalism.
A place like this, no matter how beautiful it is, can't last if its owners don't take the restaurant business seriously. If this continues, closure will be inevitable.
