03/09/2025: It's my FAVORITE restaurant, my favorite place, where time stands still and the rest of the world stays outside, a refined and sophisticated place. As soon as you walk in the door, you're enchanted by the display case and the assortment of cheeses and cured meats. The restaurant has been selected nationally to organize high-level events. Stefano is wonderful, kind, helpful, highly knowledgeable, the perfect host 🤩 It's a family-run business and you can taste it in the flavor of their dishes.

23/08/2025: The Simposio dei Sensi, a place that won me over. Refined, welcoming, with particular attention to the choice of raw materials. Upon entering, you're enchanted by the two refrigerated counters, one stocked with a carefully selected cheese selection and the other with a unique selection of cured meats. There's no menu; the waiter will tell you about it because it changes so often. WHAT I ATE: I chose the tortelli filled with Stilton, a French blue cheese, served on a bed of pumpkin cream with raspberry drops. A very balanced and delicious dish. Next, a shin of patanegra (a type of ham) on a bed of mashed potatoes—it was simply delicious. The manager, on his own initiative, brought us a small tasting of Roccaverano robiola and Grigentana goat cheese with lavender honey—a true delicacy. For dessert, a crème brulee—perfect. ● WHAT I DRINK: On the owner's recommendation, I drank a 2021 Pletter Lagrein from Cesconi, a wine that paired perfectly with the dishes. Excellent choice. ● VENUE: The place is very welcoming with a very relaxing atmosphere. Not at all noisy. ● STAFF: The service was impeccable, the waiter very attentive and made us feel at ease. ● PRICE: The price of €95 per couple was reasonable considering the quality of the dishes and the service. ● TIP: If you're looking for a place with high-quality traditional cuisine, where the ingredients are carefully selected, Simposio dei Sensi is an excellent choice. Try it! The place is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings, so book in advance.

21/11/2025: We went for lunch as a couple on a trip. It's a nice place for a trattoria, and if you're lucky enough to get a table near the window, the view is excellent. We knew the specialty was tortelloni in various combinations and the Florentine steak. We opted for appetizers, one of pinzini with mixed cured meats and a melted cheese with truffle. They were truly excellent. The truffle was black, so it wasn't particularly tasty, but there was plenty of it. The prosciutto was very good. They offered us a slice of fresh ricotta, which was very good and very welcome. We doubled the pinzini, which we thought were delicious and well-cooked. For the main course, the Florentine steak, for us since it was the first time, cooked at the table on the oil stone, was a real experience. The meat was exquisite... the only thing I didn't understand was whether the bone was from the bone. The side dish was baked potatoes, cooked in too much oil, almost fried, but they could be better cooked. They give you menus, including a well-sourced wine list at reasonable prices for all budgets. The service is coordinated by a very friendly and kind hostess, along with several assistants. Nothing to complain about, and the timing is spot on. For dessert, they offer their almond tart; we bought a bag to take home. The bill was around €45 per person.

16/09/2025: The kebab is very good, a little small for the average, with very fresh and unique ingredients (I've never seen grilled vegetables on a kebab, and they really work well). The fries, even for takeout, are really good: thick-cut, crispy, and fragrant. The only downside is that the place can be a little dark, with a few too many flies during the summer months, when the doors are open.

15/02/2026: Typical and super tasty dishes, we tried snails bourguignonne and even if they were not local they were delicious plus porcini mushrooms and a wild boar with polenta that was amazing

17/01/2026: Good cocktails and a menu with their own suggestions. The appetizers are well-made.

01/02/2026: We ordered two half-meter pizzas from this pizzeria, for a total of €77.50 plus delivery, not even a drink included. There were six of us. One half-meter pizza was diavola (a type of pizza) + sausage and broccoli rabe, the other was chips and sausage + aged Modena. Prices: €38 and €36. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible in every way. The pizzas arrived completely folded inside the box, squashed and deformed. The owner's justification? "They're too big for the box." But if you sell half-meter pizzas, you have to have suitable containers: it can't become a problem for the customer. The pizzas were clearly burned in several places (as you can see in the photos), with black, dry, and inedible parts. The dough was raw and rubbery in several places, while the edges were charred: completely incorrect cooking. Furthermore, they refused to cut them, saying that "the flavors would mix." An absurd reasoning, because customers should be able to comfortably eat what they ordered, especially in such large sizes. When we raised the issue, the owner justified his decision by saying that the price was good considering there were six of us and that the average price was €9 per person. But the point isn't how many people eat: it's the quality of what's delivered, which in this case was absolutely not up to the asking price. Paying almost €80 for two pizzas that arrived flattened, burnt, uncut, and poorly cooked is unacceptable. A disappointing experience, and the complaint handling was even worse. We won't buy from them again.

07/01/2026: Thank you for delighting our palate, the pizzas were delicious, and so were all the staff who welcomed our furry friend with a bowl! We were there for my husband's job, a firefighter. His experience has now ended there in Pavullo, but it's the best pizzeria!!! Thanks again!

20/07/2025: Camatta's Antica Bottega is a magical place, where you can breathe in the air of times gone by... it's like stepping back in time... to a time when life was good! Paolo, the owner, is a true gentleman of the past: kind, friendly, and charming, he knows how to put his customers at ease. If you want to eat truly special and unique crescentine with quality cured meats and cheeses, I highly recommend it; I also enjoyed the wines served by Paolo, and inside the shop there is a wide selection of cured meats, cheeses, and local products of truly excellent quality! The view is also excellent 🔝

26/07/2025: Always the best. Ever since we chose their wedding cake, we've fallen in love. It's always a great reason to visit Pavullo, despite the 30km distance.

22/12/2025: For those who enjoy authentic Neapolitan pizza, with a thick crust and traditional Campanian ingredients, this is the place to go. The "cuoppo" is also delicious, complete with the typical crocche, which rounds out the menu. The only downside is the wait...there's room for improvement.

13/10/2025: I was thrilled with Lievito 24! A true gem in the heart of Pavullo nel Frignano. The pizzas are simply exceptional: incredibly light, digestible dough, and with that irresistible aroma that only a long, natural leavening process can provide. The ingredients are top-quality, and you can taste the care with which they're selected and combined. The staff is incredibly kind, always smiling and attentive to detail; they truly make you feel at home. The atmosphere is refined, modern, and welcoming, perfect for both an evening with friends or a quiet dinner for two. I highly recommend trying the specialty pizzas: a perfect blend of creativity and tradition. One of the best dining experiences in the area! Kudos to the entire Lievito 24 staff: you can tell they have true passion behind them!!!
