07/08/2024: We stopped for a quick lunch break and were greeted by friendly staff in a welcoming and clean environment. We had lunch in the beautiful outdoor garden, where we enjoyed a wide choice of à la carte dishes and the menu of the day, with honest prices. We were very satisfied and highly recommend this restaurant.

07/08/2024: Trattoria Maretollo is located in Vigonza Via Martiri della Libertà, 32, San Vito. It has outdoor parking and is easy to reach. Built around a renovated rustic building, it features air-conditioned internal rooms and a large external porch in contact with the garden. Everything handled with taste and seriousness. The owner accompanies guests with kindness and punctuality. The staff at the table were very friendly and well trained. The excellent quality cuisine offers both meat and fish at an adequate but not excessive price. At first sight I was very positively impressed and I thank those who accompanied me. I highly recommend the place to anyone who wants to taste excellent dishes in simplicity and serenity. Also suitable for vegetarians...

01/09/2024: Thanks for the welcome! Wonderful setting in the middle of the vineyards, friendly and helpful polite staff, plentiful food with attention to detail, perfect value for money! We will definitely return and recommend it to couples and families

05/08/2024: The place is immersed in the countryside where the view is very beautiful. The staff then offers excellent service, very kind and polite. The rooms are very nice, simple and basic and above all clean. The breakfast buffet is rich and if anyone wants it savory they just have to ask. What else to say other than seeing is believing? Excellent place recommended

06/08/2024: One star only because it is the minimum expected, due to the terrible service, the rude ways of the waitress who was in a hurry to take away the dishes even though we were still eating and the rude cashier. It felt like a nuisance in someone else's house! This was a place with great traditions that seems truly degraded by the presence of inadequate staff with alien behaviors 👾 Regarding good manners and respect due to the customer. We won't go back again even though the food wasn't bad... but unfortunately it's not enough!

16/07/2024: On the occasion of the yellow night they proposed all you can eat bigoli We arrived at 8pm and started eating at 10pm Poor organization starting from orders other tables managed to do more and more encores, they passed by us only once with strong tastes from them. I understand the confusion but we didn't find kindness and patience either.

20/07/2024: Hidden gem in Padua. We had lunch here as recommended by a local. Honey but truly delicious food. Every dish was distinct and well balanced. The gnocchi was decadent! The chicken salad which was topped with sautéed chicken in a honey dressing was simply amazing. The waitstaff was so gracious and hospitable although she spoke no english.

20/08/2024: My dad and I tried a few dishes and everything was just delicious. I would definitely recommend to try the “frittura mista” - it’s amazing!! The atmosphere is also really lovely and the staff very kind and friendly.

23/07/2024: Fish-based lunch. 4 scallops, 3 first courses, 3 second courses, 4 sorbets, 1 liter of prosecco, 3 liters of water. Ate very well and spent €140 for 4. Everyone was very kind, especially the owner who also advised us on what to do in the surrounding area on this sultry July day. Thank you, we will be back soon with friends.

31/07/2024: A delicious dinner in a well-kept restaurant with qualified and kind staff! We had dinner in this restaurant in January, with reservation, two couples and a little girl. Everyone ordered something different and all the diners were satisfied with their dishes. Meat cooked very well and pasta generously seasoned! We will be back!! 🥰

06/07/2024: It confirms itself as a refined venue with excellent cuisine. I truly believe that in both on-site and take-away catering it is one of Padua's excellences. Highly recommended. There is also dinner accompanied by live piano music

28/08/2024: A little dated restaurant, but very well kept, clean, bright. Friendly staff, prepared for all questions. We chose to eat meat, everything was perfect. Next time we'll go for fish.

26/06/2024: I would like to point out that the food, contrary to the reviews read, was really disappointing. In particular I asked for a tripe dish, which I usually like very much. It never happens to me that I refuse a course, but I just couldn't keep the plate close to me. I reported it to the staff who suggested bringing something else. Very friendly and helpful staff, simple environment.

12/06/2024: There are many choices of dishes, the taste is very good and the portions are large. The waiters are very friendly. The price is only €14, including water and coffee.

29/08/2024: I booked a table at the fish restaurant and had a fabulous evening. The menu was diverse and offered some exciting plates. We cannot fault the meal that was served. I had the pasta with crustaceans followed by the octopus, both were fantastic. My wife had the seafood pasta with basil pesto followed by the mixed fried fish, both meals worthy of being served at a top London restaurant. Osteria del Pesce is worthy of it’s 5* rating. It has a fabulous ambiance, make sure you eat here when in Padua!

29/08/2024: After having a fabulous meal at their fish restaurant last night, we tried the meat restaurant this evening. Such a contrast, very disappointing! The starter of mixed snacks was bland and unappealing. My main of feta and melon salad was served as if it was a child's meal, with no flavouring and no style whatsoever! To say that we were shocked was an understatement. My husband had the donkey pasta as a starter which was bland and grey. His duck was not pink and so was disappointing. We didn't stay for dessert or coffee as the food had been a disaster. See photo of my main course served as a second plate!
