09/01/2026: We arrived in Padua and confidently searched the internet for a place to have dinner and our search allowed us to enjoy a dinner with well-prepared dishes from traditional Paduan cuisine, assisted by a friendly and never intrusive service.
07/01/2026: We visited this restaurant last July during a vacation and loved it. The restaurant is right in the city center, beautifully decorated, and has a pleasant atmosphere, with several tables, including barrel-style ones, and stools.
The food is truly exceptional: Bigoli with Paduan court white ragù of guinea fowl and chicken, and Baccalà (Lofoten PGI stockfish cooked in milk) alla cappuccina with polenta, a Venetian recipe with nutmeg, cinnamon, raisins, and pine nuts. The spicy and sophisticated polenta was a real surprise, a refined and by no means predictable flavor.
A special thanks to Beatrice, the waitress who looked after us: extremely kind, always smiling, and professional.
A highly recommended place for those seeking quality and tradition.

02/05/2026: A family-run restaurant with authentic cuisine of exceptional quality, recommended to us by our B&B (Filippo at Casa Camilla). The owner is very attentive and offers excellent advice. Everything is absolutely delicious and homemade: we especially recommend the "Bigoli caccio-peppe" ("Da togliere il fiato"), the gnocchi, and the "Tagliatelle au ragù de corte" (made with four types of simmered meat).
The Campari Spritz was perfectly balanced, and the desserts were also excellent: Cassata just like in Palermo and a very indulgent Zuppa inglese. We dined here three times during our stay in Padua. Thank you, Carlo, and the entire kitchen team! A wonderful memory; don't hesitate to go.

I wasn't shown the bill, and was quoted a figure that, upon review after dinner, was significantly inflated. Since I paid in cash, I don't think I even got a receipt.
24/05/2026: There were four of us, we received very friendly service, and the food was fantastic. We were completely satisfied and had a wonderful end to our holiday. If our travels ever take us back to Padua, we will definitely return.

23/05/2026: A dinner for two to remember. An oasis in the chaos of Bassanello. A restaurant where you can converse. We relied on their specialties: tartare and tagliata. We were not disappointed. We were very satisfied with the quality of the ingredients and the execution of the dishes. Good selection of wines and, overall, good value. Thanks to the Lord who welcomed us and served us: professional, precise, welcoming, and discreet. If you're curious and romantic, ask about the history of Pino (it will be an added bonus). We will do our best to return and we highly recommend it. Oh, and another plus: literally steps from the tram stop. Very convenient.
21/05/2026: I had dinner at this osteria with my boyfriend and we left really happy. The staff was lovely from the start: kind, attentive, and always smiling, they immediately made you feel at ease. The food was fantastic; you could taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in every dish. Plus, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, it really felt like home. A place where you eat well but, above all, you feel good. We'll definitely be back!

15/05/2026: A traditional restaurant, serving local cuisine, some of which have been slightly reworked and reworked. In short, a trattoria that was likely frequented by locals, then, over time, featured in international travel guides and thus became very popular, losing some of its original character.
Good quality, however.
Service is a bit "speedy" due to multiple shifts and a high table density.
12/05/2026: In the center of Padua, a small, well-maintained restaurant, very kind and helpful staff, and home-cooked dishes in generous portions.
We were lucky and found a table, but it's best to book!
Excellent value for money.
We'll definitely be back on our next trips to Padua.

10/05/2026: We stopped by with friends for lunch. They welcomed us right away and sat us down.
The beef tartare was very tasty.
The bigoli with Paduan ragù was excellent and even GLUTEN-FREE ❤️.
The dessert was also excellent!
Highly recommended!
It's a shame I didn't take photos of the dishes...
What we also really appreciated was the price.

09/05/2026: A quaint place near the center of Padua. The dishes offered are interesting, but lack attention to presentation. They're more beautiful to read than to eat. For the asking price (medium-high), in my opinion, the place still needs to work on professional service (even a few smiles would be appreciated), the execution of the dishes (the tuna tartar was unseasoned, had no sauce, and they didn't even bring oil and salt to the table), and the cooking times (the mussels in the peppered mussel stew were so soft they seemed frozen, but they must have been poorly cooked). These are just a few examples, but we could list others. Overall, it was very different from what we expected.

11/05/2026: Last weekend I dined at Isoletta with a group of friends. We found the restaurant welcoming, the staff attentive to their guests' needs, and the quality/price ratio excellent. Special thanks to Patrizia, who was also incredibly friendly. I will definitely be back.
09/05/2026: Paduan trattoria. Classic Venetian specialties, unpretentious but tasty and pleasant. The staff can sometimes be pleasantly awkward when it's busy. Very popular with locals who know the place, located near the Teatro Verdi. Reservations recommended. Clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Update, early May 2026: One waiter is a bit "too friendly," and some may not appreciate his closeness.

30/05/2026: They have a buffet for lunch, and no reservations are required. The dishes are fresh and served right next to the open kitchen. Overall, given the nice, welcoming atmosphere, it's a good place for a quick lunch. Everything I ate was good.

16/03/2026: I've been here before and have always eaten meat, and well. Today, I may have been wrong, but I went for the dish of the day. Mind you, not the menu of the day, but the dish of the day. I thought to myself: if a trattoria, which is also a historic restaurant like Bertolini, offers a dish, it must be a specialty, and instead: disaster!
Tagliolini with mantis shrimp, tomato, and basil. The basil wasn't there, and instead it was an old glasswort, but the mantis shrimp were really just thrown-away mantis shrimp, badly opened, practically impossible to open and eat. Except that the pasta was good and had obviously been risottoed with a little of the mantis shrimp water, which gave it flavor, but that was all.
Mixed fried fish, another dish of the day. Disaster! Everything was frozen, fake shrimp, and rubbery cuttlefish.
The best part was discovering that the fried fish is priced at 18 euros, and they stick it on the bill for 20 euros. It wasn't even 14 euros.
Finally, maybe it was because I was annoyed, but the service was also superficial. We asked for cold cuts, and the answer was: "We don't have any." But I say, offer me an alternative, don't throw the menu on the table. The bottle of water was on the table, please at least open it. I'm not saying pour it, but at least open it.
I don't know if I'll go back.

15/02/2026: I had dinner at this retro-style restaurant. There's no menu online, nor do they bring one to you. A waiter tells you the menu verbally. It's a long list of dishes that you forget about after the third one. The food is good, but we waited an hour for the appetizer; it was very slow.

21/03/2026: Yesterday we went to the "IL FEUDO" farmhouse in Vo. There were six of us, and I think it was so bad it's been a while since I've eaten:
Dried fettuccine with guinea fowl was inedible and had a bad smell.
Never again.
15/03/2026: Friendly staff. High-quality cured meats and cheeses. Delicious risotto. Flavorful and tender sliced meat. The outdoor area where we had coffee served was also pleasant. Recommended.
