26/05/2025: Wonderful food in a little place slightly away from all the tourist restaurants. Their gnocchi Gorgonzola e Asparagus was sublime. Panna cotta was also heavenly. Great local wine selection.

Tried it for the first time today. Fantastic experience in an intimate, welcoming and warm location, Massimo the owner is a fantastic person.
The restaurant is practically in front of a fantastic view over the entire valley.
Excellent food from starter to dessert.
Absolutely recommended.
Well done, you really deserve all the compliments.

27/06/2025: A very small and characteristic place where you can have lunch at a reasonable cost. Spello is practically a pedestrian island and the parking lots are "outside the walls" so the tavern is not easily accessible to disabled people.
If the place is small the service(s) is even smaller. The food served is good with an excellent quality/price ratio.

Classic trattoria run with genuineness by 2 very easy-going and simple women who know the art of good cooking.
The place is simple and very characteristic, the dishes are beautiful, abundant and tasty!

03/07/2025: What a wonderful dining experience with delicious food, beautiful bricked, and arched spaces, and a great wine list featuring local wines at reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and patient with our Italian. White lasagna was a highlight. Highly recommended.

14/06/2025: It is the classic trattoria of small Umbrian villages. It is located in Collepino about 10 minutes from Spello. Ideal for those who love game and truffles. But also homemade pasta. Excellent quality/price ratio.

22/06/2025: Just outside the walls of Spello, we go there often for the very good wood-fired pizza. The atmosphere is informal and the prices are very fair. It has a nice outdoor space for the summer.
19/06/2025: We were invited on Tuesday evening, and it was a real disaster. There were few tables and yet for 7 pizzas we waited more than an hour. A person at our table who had ordinary meat received the dish a few minutes after ordering and ate alone. Even the pizzas, after several complaints, arrived staggered, lack of coordination at astonishing levels. The pizza is one of the worst I have ever eaten, the ingredients may even be of quality, I have no doubt about it, but the result is an ultra thin, toasted pastry, the ultra salty tomato, in the Margherita not even a basil leaf, I was thirsty all night. Oh, we called twice to book a table outside, we arrived and they were not prepared, in fact the girl seemed surprised and not very helpful. I will definitely not go back

25/08/2024: Abbiamo avuto il piacere di cenare al Ristorante Porta Venere a Spello e ne siamo rimasti davvero colpiti. Il cibo è ottimo, con un'ampia scelta di piatti che soddisfa tutti i gusti. Un aspetto molto positivo per noi è stato che il ristorante accetta animali, permettendoci di portare con noi il nostro cane senza problemi.
Il punto forte del ristorante è sicuramente la terrazza con una vista mozzafiato sulla valle, un ambiente che rende l'esperienza culinaria ancora più speciale. I prezzi sono in linea con quelli degli altri locali della zona e decisamente adeguati all'offerta di alta qualità.
Il vino che ci è stato servito era eccellente, accompagnando perfettamente i piatti scelti. Senza dubbio, Porta Venere diventerà un nostro riferimento per le cene future a Spello. Consigliatissimo!
